my parents took the car to parkside garage ls11 5sf . origanaly took the car for suspected air conpresser noise . car was left within 45 minutes they called and said the exhaust had split in half turning into garage there was nothing wrong with exhaust but things happen . then 2 hours later they call back and said the sping had spilt when jacking the car up which you would think they would of said on the first call about the exhaust also paid for full service car came back with engine light on and fan belt was split which none of this was wrong before taking it to this garage . my mother uses the car for hospital visits only for cancer treatment when my farther paid and came home thats when he noticed the engine light and the split fan belt when he took it back to the garage the staff got very aggressive and threatening to a old aged pensioner 75 years old this garage is a disgrace and takes advantage of old people please avoid at all cost

Just used this garage again they saw my car at short notice could of easily ripped me off with the problem with my turbo but didn't Darren the mechanic big shout out who went above and beyond and also the girls on the desk.... 💯 Recommended this garage I'll go no where else

Excellent personal service here. nothing is too much trouble. You are a person rather than a number and their price is fair and workmanship is good.
They looked after our motorhome for 11 years, which unfortunately, I no longer have. It was the obvious choice for my car. Ann Smith

Absolutely shockingly bad from enquiry to point I just returned the car. I enquired with these jokers in June, paid a deposit and was told to collect my car. I arrived as agreed to be told my car had unexpectedly blown up. I was literally in the office with 2 kids car seats ready to drive home! The lady told me they cannot refund and I’d have to pick another vehicle. I ended up with a bmw3 series that had a lot of issues. The handbrake didn’t work, the airbags and seatbelts were faulty and the bodywork was appalling. I was told to book in and they would complete the work. 3 weeks later after being messed around constantly when trying to book in, every excuse under the sun was given to avoid doing work on the car. I took the car back and demanded a refund. I was told this couldn’t be done either. Eventually I did get my money back but only after quite literally staging a sit in in the office. AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE

Saw a vehicle on their website, described as in fantastic condition inside and out, great bodywork and and interior trim, with new MOT and undergone a 90 point inspection. Based on the description given I paid £100 to reserve this vehicle till I could arrange to view it, ( just to view . NOT to buy) as it was over 120 miles away.when I went and inspected the vehicle it was nothing like the description on their website. It was filthy, there was a dent in rear wheel arch, it had never been cleaned, the interior was worse, again never been cleaned, seats stained beyond belief, and drivers seat ripped, gear lever had been changed from the one in the photo! Disgusting condition. When started there was a strong smell of burnt oil and diesel, and a severe banging from underneath at back when driven, suspect broken suspension.the front discs were severely rusted and brake pads only cleared a half inch strip when driven.so obviously it had brake issues.this vehicle was supposed to have just had a 90 point inspection and a new MOT. (All carried out by their own mechanics on site) how convenient! THE CAR WAS NOT SAFE OR ROAD WORTHY. AND IF I HAD BOUGHT IT THEY WOULD QUITE HAPPILY WATCH ME DRIVE OFF KNOWING IT WAS UNSAFE, WITH 120 miles motorway driving to get home. I presume they just write an mot certificate out so the vehicle can be sold. As no way that car could have passed a real mot in that state.they seemed quite shocked when we said we didn’t want to purchase it. And said apart from the banging was it ok?… I requested my £100 back as wasn’t as described, unfortunately the person I had been dealing with via email wasn’t in that day!, asked them to get him to call me asap. After several emails and phone calls no reply’s. I have reported this garage to trading standards, the advertising standards authority, DVSA about the mot, and auto trader. They should not be in business. So please be aware when visiting their website that all is not what it appears. It is just a shabby little back street garage, with even shabbier customer service.visit at your own peril.
