Evolution warranty's in liquidation and unable to pay my claim
I purchase my car last year with an Evolution warranty after 6 months I made a claim which was agreed with Evolution warranty 3 moths latter they still haven't paid the £600 they owe for the work.
after emailing many times I finally got through on the phone only to be told the company has gone into liquidation yet they are still adverting and only last week asked me to renew my warranty.
Payment delays
They were very nice with the claims and how to do invoice. I am a private customer and not a company.
The cars wheel bearings failed with a total cost of 336UKP (small). The documentation was sent in on 23-12-2025 and excuse after excuse not to pay it it. It is now 24-3-2026 and still nothing. Their payments are non-existent and verging on scam level. Please find another company to warrantee your purchase

Have been chasing payment under the warranty since Nov 2025, and receive this yesterday, the biggest scam that requires investigation...

Broke down today. Excellent communication from Millie throughout the day. Very helpful and supportive. The actual recovery took longer than expected down to me being out of area. The team were also liaising with the receiving garage. Shame this company seems to have some issues with claims as their customer team are really top class. My warranty claim was rejected with the excuse of “wear and tear,” which is completely unacceptable. The issue is with the engine—specifically the timing chain on my BMW. This is a serious mechanical fault, not something minor like scratches or dents. Calling this “wear and tear” is just an excuse to avoid covering a legitimate claim.
When I purchased the warranty, I was clearly advised by your customer service team, so I expected that major engine components like this would be covered. Instead, my claim has been unfairly declined without proper justification.
To make matters worse, you haven’t even paid the garage £170 for over 6 weeks. This kind of delay is completely unprofessional and shows a lack of responsibility.
Overall, a very disappointing experience — poor service, excuses, and no support when it actually matters.

No one had the guts to tell me what was going on. Gutted.

Still waiting for my payment 4 months after the repair was approved!
Although repair and payment was approved quickly. 4 months after payment was authorised I am yet to receive it! The excuse is they have a lot of work. I had to pay upfront for the repair myself as I couldn't find a garage that would work with them as they have had issues getting paid themselves. I believe they delay payment to the extent that people get fed up of chasing them and then they don't pay out at all.
BEWARE Sham company now changed name
This Company is a sham they approve claims but NEVER pay. There are so many unpaid claims with customers talking about taking legal action to recover unpaid claims. These people obviously know their stuff as poor customers have to pay the garages directly to get their vehicles back so in effect this company is quids in. Now that the reviews are so diabolical and so many customers threatening legal action, guess what the company has decided to change its name to (Clearcoverwarranties.com2 Limited) same people so beware.
Crooks
Crooks. I had to fight to get my legitimate claim accepted. After finally approving it and having the work done they won't pay. Their terms state that they aim to pay within 48 hours but they haven't paid after 18 weeks despite several chasers.
Awful company.
We bought our kids a car last June and the garage supplied an Evolution warranty as part of the deal. The car needed some repairs a few months later and after initially rejecting the claim (twice), the dealer intervened and Evolution agreed to make a contribution to the cost. They acknowledged the paid invoice on 8th December and sent it to the payments team to be settled within 30 days. Since then I have chased multiple times, raised a complaint for which, by Evolution’s own timescales, the deadline for a final response has now passed but all to no avail. I have received no money and at this point have sadly come to the conclusion that the offer of payment was not made in good faith.
I can sympathise with every other complainant in these reviews. Evolution are one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with and I sincerely wish I had never crossed paths with them.
If I ever do receive payment then I will update the review but I’ve pretty much given up hope now.
This company is sham
This company is sham. I concur with everyone else, claim approved and now cannot get payment. Now no response to emails and phone never answered on any option. They have clearly run off with the money. They are trying to pose as Clear Cover Warranties which is a genuine company (2 companies now same name on Companies House). Please see their Trustpilot to see their Linked In post trying to defend themselves, I have no reason to believe they are lying and feel sorry for them. I am still considering whether a civil court claim is worthwhile, it will depend on company status and I shall be watching the case opened by HMRC. I am very annoyed as this was my daughter's car and she is young and cannot afford this rip off.

If I could give 0 stars that would I would give. Let down so many times! Put in my claim in January (22nd) I think. It’s now 20th March and they still haven’t paid and got the claim done. Everytime I call they just talk rubbish. Still no closer to them sorting it the sounds of it

Shocking company. Approved my claim, yet still haven’t paid out 3 months on. During this time, they still had the cheek to try and sell me a new warranty. DON’T use them. I’m commencing the legal route.

Working as an indepandent garage we carried out 2 separate repairs for a customer using their Evolution warranty.. Both jobs were Authorised & order numbers given but we are still chasing payment over 8 months later! After over 20 emails & several phone calls i just continuesly get this answer "Due to the current volume of claims being processed, some payments are taking longer than anticipated"
Payment Difficulties
On 1 October 2025, I was informed that an approved invoice in the region of £700 would be processed within 30 working days, in accordance with your stated payment terms. This payment has still not been made.
As of today, 6 February 2026, the agreed payment timeframe has been exceeded by a considerable margin. I have contacted your team on multiple occasions to chase this matter and, on each occasion, I have been advised that the payment has been “escalated” or “chased”. Despite these assurances, no payment has been received, nor have I been provided with a confirmed payment date.
This ongoing delay is unacceptable. In addition to the inconvenience caused, I have also been financially disadvantaged by not having access to funds that should have been paid several months ago. Had this payment been made within the agreed timeframe, I would have had the opportunity to earn interest or otherwise make use of these funds.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless - don't bother if you have an EV.
there website states "Peace of Mind - Goodbye Repair Bills… HELLO Fantastic Warranty Cover!" and they claim to have a "comprehensive warranty". This proved to be a load of lies. Tried to claim for an electric module on an EV and they said that they don't cover module's. There is not much else on an EV (its like saying the engineer is not covered in a ICE car). They will say its in the exclusions, well you don't see that until you have bought the policy. Don't bother buying a policy - save your money and put it towards the repair cost. ZERO starts.

We paid £1,700 upfront for repair works because we needed our car back, the dealership would not release it without payment.
That was nearly 3 months ago.
We are STILL waiting to be reimbursed.
Despite multiple chase emails, we’ve had nothing but delays and vague responses. The company claims payments are made within 30 days, this is simply not true.
Let’s be clear:
You are forced to pay out of your own pocket to get your car back… and then left waiting indefinitely for your money.
We are now £1,700 down with no resolution in sight.
To make matters worse, this company also operates under another name: Evolution Warranties (which we used).
If you’re comfortable funding your own repairs and chasing for months to get your money back, use this company.
If not avoid at all costs.
