In my honest opinion, there are many better hosts out there. I was using springracks for a few months, minimal downtime, but I was always having performance issues when I shouldn't be. I figured it was just my own fault due to the amount of mods, and players we had. Well, I swapped to a different hosting provider and my performance problems were solved. Although, i will say springracks was helpful and kind when I did need help, it does feel like I was being cheated out of performance considering I'm paying the same with my new provider as I was with the guys over at springracks.
TL;DR Springracks is very helpful, and nice staff but definitely not worth the price. I'd choose another host.

Absolutely amazing service and community- really helped out when I was confused (even at simple things like mods, haha)
Affordable and so easy to understand-
Performance wise was alright, (that was our fault, we sort of overloaded everything every second we get)

Great help from staff and the server runs perfectly! Not to mention how easily it is to use the panel compared to other panels. Would recommend for others! Brandon has been a big help with it all.

Would not recommend this host. They go out of their way to spy on you and stalk your private activities on your Discord server. If they don’t like what they see about you, then they will ban you from using their services. I had an ImageToMap plugin that lets my players upload images to transform it into a map in Minecraft. I sent a message containing upload url on my Discord server to let players upload memes onto my server. The Springracks staff Brandon saw it. He wiped my server and banned me from their service immediately without saying a word. I wasnt given a warning or word about it. I was so scared. One hour later, he finally sent me a screenshot of my message from MY DISCORD SERVER. I had no idea he was stalking me in my Discord server on his alt account this whole time! I asked why and he said I can’t host non-MC related things. Dude, that plugin takes less than 10 megabytes. Im not using my server as a file storage. Those images were gonna be displayed as maps on my Minecraft server. This is literally a plugin I downloaded from Spigot website. Its definitely Minecraft related! If it wasnt then it wouldn’t be compatible with my Minecraft server. Now Im left with no server for my players anymore. Way to go ruin everything Springracks.

I was using SpringRack’s 3 GB server only for a couple of hours. My server was suddenly wiped and my entire account was deleted. They didn’t warn me first or tell me anything. I was just running a Paper Minecraft server with some plugins that I downloaded from Spigot. If there are some plugins that aren’t allowed, then they should’ve told me first instead of banning me right away. This is how strict they are if you download a plugin your not supposed to then they ban you immediately. The support is also very slow. It took them 5+ hours to give me my server.

My experience with renting servers from SpringRacks has been highly inconsistent, veering from decent to downright disappointing. The primary issues that have tarnished my experience are the unreliability and sluggish response times. It's been frustrating to see the server experience downtime every few days, each time without any prior warning or subsequent explanation. Additionally, when we encountered a critical functionality problem on their panel the issue has remained unresolved for the better part of a week. Moreover, in the last four days alone, the service has been down three times, again without any prior notification. This lack of reliability and communication has significantly impacted my opinion of SpringRacks, leading me to rate my overall experience as 1 out of 5.

They had excellent service, was able to help with backup related issues, and was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend to newer server owners due to their fast response and excellent service. They are absolutely fantastic. 5/5

I love the preformance of the servers, but basic plan was really bad when I tried it out for the first time. We played on a survival server with 1 iron farm and 4GB RAM - I know that's not that much, but aternos preformed better with 2GB RAM and It constantly crashed. Although basic plan was bad when I played, it is possible that they made it stronger since. Standard Plan is just amazing.

Response time was reasonably fast. The staff were friendly in their replies and very efficient in getting to the root of the issue I was having.

Honestly they are very patient with people, and have such a amazing way of getting to help you no matter whats your issue. They study or just simply take the time to learn what the issue is and give you that extra hand you desperately need… Im a new server owner, and they have placed and ordered everything I need to my needs and even have taken off their day to make mine a lot better.

I would recommend talking to them first before even thinking of opening a server and let them be your guide on your way to becoming a good server Owner and as they show you and do things, You learn.

Best server hosting ever! Very helpful support and nice servers and not very expensive for good amounts of RAM. Highly recommended :)

After multiple hosts, all of which were bad in one way or another(CPU limiting and throttling, bad overall performance and overall bad experience) we finally found the one!
Springracks Hosting is an amazing and quality service and we are happy to have found it and are proud to say we use.

Its ok but I disagree with the other guy saying theres "zero downtime" because the panel was down once. When I used them before, the panel website was giving a 500 server error. I couldn’t access the console but my server was still up. I could still play on server but I didn’t have access to my console or files for a couple hours. They need to have multiple copies of their panel and not a single point of failure if it goes down. Their panel is really plain tho and it looks generic like what other free hosters have. I miss features from other paid panels like seeing a list of online players and making permissions.

I've been using springracks for the past 4 months. I experienced zero downtimes. The performance was honestly supperb. My modded server was able to run flawlessly without any hitches. When I did run into issues on changing my startup script, support was there within minutes. I am very satisfied with the service I have with the host and hope that this continues.

Known spammers on Reddit to lure people into switching to their host. It’s really annoying when they do sales pitch to legitimate inquiries every single time. Seriously, their google result for Springracks is just a bunch of self produced advertisements. Don’t go with them, go with a known host like Bloom instead.

I've got mixed feelings about SpringRacks. The features they offer are tempting, and when it's working, it's an OK experience. Their panel can be counter intuitive, especially the reinstall server that could mean different things, specially for an old dad like me whose not too tech savvy. But then, there's the downtime. The support is not as stellar as I'd hoped but they get the job done. The pricing is competitive and for someone on a budget, it can be the deal maker. Yet I did face a hiccup with their billing and I had to reach out to fix it. It got sorted, but it was an unnecessary hassle. If your willing to trade off some consistency for affordability SpringRacks is for you. But if your seeking perfection use something well known.

Man I really, REALLY, wanted to like SpringRacks, but it just wasn't good enough. The pricing was very good, which is what drew me in initially. I wanted to stay because the support was really good, but part of the problem was how often I needed it. Multiple issues with the server not starting that could only be resolved through support. Additionally, the server would not be able to run for more than 2 or 3 days without shutting itself off and needing to be manually restarted. While frustrating, I was willing to deal with this due to good pricing and super solid support, until my world was deleted. Payment is manual, not auto renew. After forgetting to renew due to schooling, the server was suspended after 3 days. This was my fault alone, and don't blame them for that. However, the policy is that there is only 7 days to rectify the situation until all data is permanently deleted. Compared to many other hosts, this is a really short period of time. I didn't realize until it was too late. So I recommend to just go with a slightly more expensive but bigger hosting company to save yourself the headaches.
