Live chat fixed my issue very swiftly. I should have tried to contact them earlier instead of trying to fix something myself that was not possible on my end.

Avoid OVHCloud - Worst Hosting Company

I represent a web development company in London, and I purchased a VPS from OVHCloud on 3rd February 2024 because they provided Cpanel Hosting. However, my current hosting company only uses Plesk, and I wanted to migrate to Cpanel. My server was activated on 4th of February 2024, and I successfully migrated to the new server on 10th of February, subsequently closing my Plesk server.

Unfortunately, on 11th of February, my server went down unexpectedly, and despite my repeated attempts to contact OVHCloud, I have been unable to reach their technical support team as they only operate during regular business hours, from 9 AM to 5 PM. After two days of persistent follow-up, I finally received an email informing me that my account has been closed for security reasons, resulting in the deletion of all 87 client websites hosted on their platform. Shockingly, they did not provide any prior explanation or warning regarding this drastic action.

Although I am fortunate to have backups of the websites, the process of restoring 87 websites is incredibly labor-intensive and time-consuming. Meanwhile, my clients have been understandably frustrated and impatient for the past two days.

To compound matters, I have yet to receive any refund from OVHCloud, despite being charged the full hosting fees for the two days of service that I was able to use.

This situation has been extremely disruptive to my business operations and has caused significant inconvenience to both myself and my clients. I urge OVHCloud to provide a swift resolution, including a refund for the unused portion of my hosting fees, and to implement better communication practices to avoid similar issues in the future.

**In response to your reply:** I run a software house. In the event of any issue with the software, you should have suspended the service and promptly informed me about the problem. I paid £90 for one week of service, and if this issue was not addressed, I request a refund. If necessary, I will escalate this matter to multiple platforms.

I see that the account has been closed by our security teams. This is generally the case when we detect a use on a service hosted on our infrastructures which is contrary to our general conditions.

In this type of case, the services are deleted for good.

This is specified in the general conditions of the service and this action does not allow you to benefit from a refund on the services ordered.

Zero support

Have been a customer for many years, but now completely unable to get any kind of assistance and will be leaving at the end of contract. Despite paying for a full cPanel bare metal licsense, cPanel won't provide support - saying that OVH provide that support. OVH won't provide support. You get trapped in a loop of everyone refusing to help. Stay clear.

J'ai acheté mon nom de domaine sur OVH , impossible de le ocnnecter a ma boutique, j'ai demandé le service client a plusieures reprises ils me renvoient vers un lien, j'ai essayé leur procédure 10 fois ca ne fonctionne pas a ce jour je ne peux toujours pas connecter mon nom de domaine. Le service client te répond sous 4 jours. Je conseille d'aller acheter vos noms de domaine sur Godaddy parce que eux au moins ils ont un service client telephonique.

The Most Big Scam Of Tech World

They are just gona charge you. Not give you services . I buy vps and then I cancel the services not replying in the ticket . Support is very poor and not worth to buy service from them. I ma going to court to put legal case on them . They are Big Scam

Every 24 hours the vps goes offline for no reason!
I asked for help to fix the problem or replace the vps or refund my money but none of them accepted!

Advice to anyone who sees this review of mine never buy anything from ovh and don't lost your money

Very good dedicated servers for low prices. It's amazing that IP-KVM is free for every server, useful control dashboard, but very slow client support

Sent me an email saying my services…

Sent me an email saying my services wouldn't renew, then received threatening emails two weeks later saying if I didn't pay they refer me to a recovery service! Support is useless, emails are misleading and clearly an issue with translation to English. I'm going to have to personally contact Michel Paulin and the other senior leadership team unless you cancel my services as stated.

Very satsified after a number of years

Been with OVH for a few years now. Only a couple times I needed support from the company and they are always extremely quick and helpful. Servers are always reliable and secure.

Payment error on signup. 2 days to respond. Then permanent blacklist.

Testing cloud compute providers. OVH took 2 days to respond to support request regarding payment error. They said they couldn't validate my organization and I would be permanately blacklisted... For their payment error. Definitely crossed them off the list as I switch to a new cloud provider.

UPDATE: I contacted OVH per review reply, but the support team couldn't even forward to the correct person, and again, admonished me for their payment error, instead of working with me to get the information they needed.

Major issues, refusing refund and blaming their problems on me

Purchased hosting that came with a free URL. Have had nothing but issues since. Dashboard keeps switching to french, one click installers mostly don't work, can't enable Let's Encrypt. Reaching out to CS they have told me the issues are my browser is set to french (it's not), and that I should pay to upgrade if I want the 1 click installers to work (They're included).

I've asked to close my account and have a pro rata refund and they are just dragging their heels with over a week between responses and refusing every step of the way.

Hello, Since 2013 being an OVH customer the company was in-fact highly recommended company. They have grown into a large company. When we brought the IP addresses a long time ago they were one-time fees that only got charged when you went over 256 IP addresses. They brought in the chargeable IP addresses for each IP address that is now all chargeable. Feb 2020, they brought these chargeable services in then they stop them again as they had too many complaints about this chargeable service. So in 2023, they brought this in again so if you think about it as a loyal customer I've paid over 3 times the amount I should pay. I couldn't believe this when I had my invoice for £70 est, for IP addresses where is the loyalty for long terms customers who have made OVHCLOUD what is today?

do not trust them with any of your data, they simply do not care, they also continue to charge after you cancel service, when ive called them they state nothing they can do , called over a month ago to cancel as there panel had issues and couldnt cancel so i spoke to billing who arrange this there side, ive got a Call Recording or proof, but still they took money after ive got a phone call and was informed service was cancelled, have now raised a Un-authroised chargeback with my bank as this was not consented

Following your request to our complaints department, we note on your customer account that the invoice you mention is the monthly renewal invoice which took place on April 1st, as no request to cancel these services was made before this date.

Unfortunately, in this case, we will not be able to legitimize and grant your request for cancellation and refund of these renewals.

You mention that you had a contact with our services two or three weeks ago regarding these services, but all exchanges with our customers are recorded, and we cannot find any contact with our customer service regarding this customer account.
