Took the money. Didnt send the product. Received email saying order was "cancelled" (whatever that means). Refund never came. No replies to email or phone. Not recommended. Buyer beware.

⚠️ WARNING — VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH OUTBACK EQUIPMENT
I placed an order with Outback Equipment back at the start of July and paid for the order, but unfortunately the order was never fulfilled.
After waiting and receiving no clear update, I eventually cancelled the order and requested a refund. I’m still waiting for my money back and have been unable to get a proper response or meaningful update from the company.
I’ve tried contacting them but have had no luck getting a clear answer about either the order or my refund.
I’m posting this review to warn other customers to be very careful before purchasing. Taking someone's money and then failing to fulfil the order or provide a refund or communication is extremely disappointing.
I would strongly recommend doing your research before placing an order with this company.

Still waiting on my order. It was meant to be shipped within 1-6 business days! 3 weeks on and still no sign, nor a tracking number.

Cant get ahold of them on the phones, or get a response via email!

No wonder on their voice mail and generic email response they make it clear they wont tolerate abusive behavior; they must get a lot of it due to their terrible customer service. I would never buy anything from them ever again nor recommend them to anyone!

Still waiting on an in-stock product from five weeks ago. Never replies, don’t waste your money with this company. They’re in for a quick buck/sale with no accountability attached.

Ordered tire pressure sensors for my car.

2 weeks after I ordered they were not even shipped, website said lead time of 7 days for the item.

Call up and wait about 25minutes on hold and ask for a refund.
The customer service agent was good, and to be frank feel sorry for these customer service agents that have top put up with shit from their business.

I get told it will be done, get an email the next day saying my refund request has been passed onto the finance team.
waited a week and nothing.
Doing a refund should not take a week
Lodge a Paypal dispute which gets found in my favor.

Really makes you wonder what is happening with the company if they cant fulfill orders and take ages to do a refunds.

Ive placed two orders with this online store. The first of which was cancelled after extended delays in them shipping it. The storefront says stock available the reality I think is they source only upon receipt of an order. I am still waiting on confirmation of shippment of an order that I placed nearly 3 months ago. after multiple requests I got an update mid august to say stock was supposed to be arriving early septemeber an here we are mid september with not even so much of an update. Save your time and money and buy from a reputable store.

Ordered Coast To Coast RV 5000kg 3-Step Levelling Ramp w/Chock & Bag Pair. After 3 weeks, still not dispatched. Cancelled the order as I needed the ramps for a trip. The refund was 'in progress' for over 2 weeks. They don't answer the phone or emails. PayPal refunded my money. Wouldn't use them again. Beware.

I ordered some basic mudflaps and 7 weeks later nothing had arrived. They didn’t reply to my 1st email and then it took 30 minutes to get through to customer service the first time. The second call took 46 minutes to get through only to find that the product was still about 2 weeks away from arriving in their warehouse. I have cancelled now and am awaiting a refund. I ordered the same item from another supplier and it arrived without 2 days.

Customer service staff were polite and helpful but this is not a way to run an online business. Pathetic!

Made an order, waited 6 weeks and my order still had not been shipped so I emailed, no response, called and was told a couple of things were on back order for a further two weeks. I waited another month called them again and received the same information that it would be a further two weeks again. Nothing on their website said anything wasn't in stock. and they only offer store credit. Will not be buying from them again.

It is now over 3 months since putting my order in. I have nothing to show for my money. There is no 3 day response to e-mails. There is no chance of speaking to someone on the phone. This has been an expensive lesson.

I only received part of my order. When i contacted them to enquire where the rest of my order was I was asked to show proof of what was actually delivered - so i used the couriers delivery notice to show the large object in my order was not visible in the couriers notice of delivery, then i was promised a refund.
My order details on their site shows they refunded me my money, but I never received the refund into my paypal account.

Horrible customer service, they don't reply to emails and then call are very hard to get hold of anyone.

Don’t deal with this company no communication skills
No idea how to service a customer correctly
Take your money and don’t deliver items purchased
Very unprofessional organisation
Wouldn’t recommend them to organise a beer in a pub no idea
Have a book of excuses why can’t deliver all BS

I ordered a set of scales for a caravan and 5 weeks later, after two phone calls (waiting half an hour each time) and two unanswered emails I still do not have them. The advertised delivery time was one week.

If you do purchase anything from this company use Paypal so you can get your money back.

ordered a producting late July, was told not in stock after the order was placed even though the web page said it was in stock. Offered a refund which has never been paid. Currently disputing via card provider.

If you want to give a company some money and not receive your goods, then this is the company for you. After some customer service, guess again

Took weeks to deliver and requested address change as I was no longer going to be at the address arranged. Package arrived at the old address after acknowledging address change and now won’t respond to emails. Poor service and would not advise online ordering.

I purchased an Aussie Traveller 1500kg Digital Wheel Weight Scale from Outback Equipment and paid for shipping.

Unfortunately, I received no communication from Outback Equipment regarding my purchase or shipping. After receiving no updates, I had to lodge a claim through PayPal to recover the money I had paid.

Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service and will be sharing my experience with others on social media.

Order well overdue, no responce to multiple emails. Worst online experience for quite a long time.
All the pretty videos on their website and facebook but absolutely no customer service, dishonest listings no product availability.
Give this mob a wide berth.
Waste of time and money.

Have ordered a anti flap kit for our caravan. Have waited over a month. Have tried phoning apparently long wait times so needed to send an email. Still jo reply. Worst company I have dealt with and absolutely poor customer service. I would not recommend at all.
