Excellent service
David and his team (particularly David and James) have been absolutely fantastic. They have been very professional and ever so helpful. They have answered all our questions very quickly and guided us throughout the entire process. Also the exchange rates were so much better than our bank could offer.
Cannot recommend Optimal Currency enough. Will definitely use them again.

We recently sold our chalet in France
We recently sold our chalet in France. Our estate agency recommended Optimal currency to us for changing euros back into Sterling at an improved rate compared to the banks. The agency had had good feedback following other vendors experience with this currency exchange company.
David from Optimal currency did a great job of explaining everything and keeping us informed but we did find it quite a stressful time, mainly due to our French banks and notaire being reluctant to forward our funds to a European Bank….and being very slow.
Optimal currency were really lovely to speak to any time we phoned and they took great care to try to reassure us that all would be fine in the end….. which it absolutely was!!
Thanks a lot to you all.
Would recommend them to anyone with pleasure.

Professional and helpful
I have found Optimal currency to be extremely efficient and professional in our dealings. I am kept up to with the stages of transactions and find having David as my account contact every time, to be personal and reassuring.
