Bare Root was wrapped in a plastic securing both the root and fertilizer straw for the little tree. Very important to receive the instructions telling you to soak Bare Root for at least 60 minutes. Excellent Instructions pertaining to the planting of the Tree.

I ordered an apricot tree in late winter while trees are still dormant. About a foot up the trunk from the base about two thirds of the trunk was missing. Couldn’t understand how the tree could still be viable with this much damage but waited for Spring to pass judgement. Sure enough the tree was not alive. Contacted online orchard for a replacement as they claim their products are guaranteed. Have not heard a word from them.

I bought 2 apple trees from them that arrived bare root. Not my preference, but I went with it. I planted both, one survived and one didn't not even six months later. I was told too much time had passed for a replacement. Terrible service. Fast growing trees and Willis orchard have a much better policy. Buy from them.

My home Depot purchase is very excellent.

When I received my beautiful trees I was so blessed to have chosen your trees .one arrived a little broken but no problem i put it in water to root! I have nothing but good feelings about my new place to get shrubs. Thank you for these healthy, budding, happy trees✝️🙏💜

the quality of the tree, packaging for shipping including burlap on root system, and shipping. It arrived yesterday and is already planted! Thank you so much.

I ordered a Flavortop Nectarine from Online Orchards (via Home Depot). Nice little plant; unfortunately I was disappointed when it produced WHITE flowers. Yep, it's a nice little plum tree, but not what I ordered.

Ordered 4 palm trees. Included with the order we received an invitation to write a review on HomeDepot.com as a reward we would receive a free tree or 2 free shrubs “no strings attached”. Yes, there was a string attached: the instructions said that we had to send them an email to customerservice@onlineorchards (I am not allowed to post the complete email address here) which is a bad email address. It bounced right back. We sent them emails to 2 other different email addresses, which didn’t bounce back but they never replied. They wouldn’t answer the phone either. So they are trying to get good reviews by making customers believe that they would get something for free in exchange and once the review is posted on Homedepot.com the customer will find out that it was BS.

I have ordered the Fuji apple tree, and I love it. Roots were very healthy and moist upon arrival. This will for sure be my go to place for all my fruit trees.

Bought some plants through HomeDepot. They provided an incorrect tracking number that delivered some plants to FL. I live in NY. HomeDepot sent an email to Online Orchards which has not replied after 48 hours. Had to get HD to refund me my money.

Out of 40 fruit trees purchased, 31 died. Sent several requests to Erin and NEVER heard from them.

Horrible company. The good reviews are very suspect.

An absolute joke of a company. Zero customer service, and sent me the wrong plant and never made an attempt to answer a single email about it. When you see the website, you will notice they done have a phone number... there's a reason.. they're a scam

I ordered 7 juniper bushes, all came wrapped very nicely, moist, in very good condition. Very happy with the transaction, thru Home Depot. Only issue I had was delivery. Supposed to arrive on Oct 5, Came Oct 8. I think this was Fed ex not orchard.

I ordered 2 fruit trees from online orchards Gaston Oregon. after entering order it stated they would ship in 8 days. And that they did. The company supplied tracking numbers. 5 day ship zone to Texas. My trees arrived in 5 days.
Trees are in excelled condition, packed well and soil moist. Great pricing, nice trees and free shipping!
I will buy from again.

I got half of a honey locust tree for $30.00 & free shiping, they cut the top off, I got a crap tree ! Why would you cut the top off ! Never buy again !

I ordered 7 Karl Foerster Avalanche ornamental grass plants in May 2024 and 4 of the 7 plants were Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' (Zebra Grass). When they arrived they all looked the same and were tagged as Karl Foerster Avalanche. It wasn't until they were in the ground for months when the Zebra Grass started to get it's stripes on the blades of grass. At that point, when I realized I received 4 wrong plants, the return date had past. These were purchased through Home Depot; I will never buy from Online Orchard again!!

Trees were not trees, they were sticks. Dead ones.
No help what so ever.
They talked me into doing the scratch test, which, I know all about.
Waited to see if them came back (per their suggestion)
No luck.
When I contacted them again, they told me I was too late.
Pay a little more, and buy from a higher quality farm.
I’ve had great luck with their competition. And the service from them is great!

My first order was through Home Depot and I was so happy with that that I placed my second order directly through their website on March 18, 2024. They charged my credit card but only after several emails and asking them to cancel my order it came in April 8th or 10th. Pear tree’s top was broken but it’s growing nicely the Italian prune tree came with no indication of planning to live. The roots were so short that the tree didn’t survive. I planted it and waited for any signs of life with no results. Contacted company and was advised to do the scratch test and send them pictures of that which I did. After a month or so and several emails I received another request for better pictures of the scratch testing. It’s the middle of August and tree is dead and I have no response from them. How can I get my tree replacement? It’s not the money I am looking for it’s the tree I want.

I've seen quite a few negative reviews, mostly related to poor product quality and poor customer service, so I wanted to honestly share my experience.

Ordered 3 Halls Hardy Almond trees last spring(2023), they arrived with the roots cut fairly short, packed in damp straw, wrapped in plastic, 90% of the leaves had dropped off. I didn't think they'd live, gave them an hour soak in water, planted in to topsoil/compost mix, and kept them well watered. They ended up producing growth within about 3wks and put on 2-3 feet of growth last season, they are still thriving this year.

This spring (2024) I ordered 3 more, plus 3 dwarf gala apple trees. The shipping/packaging method was much improved, in pots w/ moist potting soil wrapped in plastic, the leaves were not even wilted. These trees are also thriving with good soil, nutrients, watering and mulch around base.

I gave 4 stars, because I've not had any experience with customer service, however It's worth noting the improved shipping method and the success of the trees.

Run - This site is a SCAM. There is no way to contact the site owner except to fill out a form and submit. It will be ignored. I place a $100 order. they never shipped. I paid with Paypal. The account showed payment pending even though It was paid for. I sent multiple contact forms. No reply. The suddenly the account on the site says there has not been any orders. The site registy shows the registrar is in Singapore. Total rip off.
