Opportunist website trying to make a fast buck
I was initially sucked in by an email from this company and thought it was the official reminder from Companies House. I went through some sort of ''verification' process - obviously bogus but which means they have now obtained my mobile no. by deception. It was only when I saw that they wanted £49 to change the details of a director [which should be completely free] that I realised that they were piggy-backing off the CH system. These type of companies should make it clear from the outset they are not the genuine government website and be fined for impersonation if they don't state this upfront.

This is epic service as online is not always easy with companies house infact the NEXT button didnt work so I was stressed and Googled this company checked their rep and theyre epic for such a small fee for doing the hardworking for me I spent 2 hrs trying to do the d03 myself and faield everytime was less that 90 quid all in and best money ive spent as I already sent in paperwork to close my company as was dormant and they misplaced the doc so mega thank you guys and girls

No communication or refund
I have waited 3 weeks to file my Companies house paper work, all they did was take my money and now my companies house documents are over due which means I pay a fine. I have tried calling and emailing and I've got NO RESPONSE. I can't even get a refund as no one is communicating with me.

In this case, your request for the Companies House authentication code was made via the platform, and this was processed accordingly. The authentication code is a mandatory requirement set by Companies House, and filings cannot proceed without it. It is used to ensure that only authorised filings can be submitted and to protect companies from unauthorised changes. This is stated in our “How It Works” and FAQ sections, ensuring customers are informed before placing an order.
The authentication code can take up to 10 working days to arrive at your registered office. The code is issued and sent exclusively by Companies House via post, and the delivery timeframe is unfortunately beyond Online Filings’ control.
When you later contacted us, we responded within one day and provided the authentication code along with clear instructions on how to complete your submission.
Following this, the Confirmation Statement was successfully filed and you received an email confirmation confirming this.
We appreciate that deadlines can feel stressful, and once the correct steps were completed, the filing was submitted successfully.
We are sorry you are dissatisfied and take all concerns seriously. We look forward to helping you again should you need our service in the future.

I didn’t mean to put five stars
I didn’t mean to put five stars! It’s all been rather a nightmare to be honest. It was fine for me but the other directors all had difficulty and one has only just achieved it meaning I have had to complete an overdue statement! I have probably spent about six weeks trying to help them. Companies house staff have been fab in their communication with the directors. I’m now concerned that we will be fined because of this!

As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), all directors were required to complete identity verification before a filing could be submitted. Our system sent direct email invitations to each director with step-by-step instructions, along with guidance on how to obtain a personal code where needed. Our Customer Experience team was available throughout and assisted with the process.
We appreciate that coordinating multiple directors can take time, and we understand your concern regarding deadlines. Once all verifications were completed, the filing was submitted promptly.

Be careful
This isn't the government writing to you, it's a company that wants to take a fee to file your paperwork with company's house.
You can bypass this company and file directly with company house for about half the price!
If you're filing your confirmation statement for your company, it's literally clicking on checkboxes, and only takes a few minutes. Not worth paying a 3rd party company £39 for.

Absolute scam of a “company”.
Absolute scam of a “company”.
They use email skimming tactics and public information on your business to trick you. Accidentally clicked through to them as they where using the same reminder system as companies house via my emails and they look very similar, I believed briefly that it was a new way the government where doing things, unfortunately by the time I noticed the site wasn’t related to companies house it was to late, I had paid the £80 odd pounds for the service, needless to say I stopped the process immediately upon realising. I have since complained and they have only sent the £50 companies house fee back, quite rightly so as they didn’t process anything, however, they did not return the other portion of the money despite not doing a thing, total scam as you can file on companies house yourself far easier and cheaper I may add, which is what I did after realising my error.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
I want the rest of my money back!

We would like to clarify that Online Filings is a private service provider and is not affiliated with Companies House or GOV.UK. This is stated throughout our website and customers are always free to file directly with Companies House if they prefer.
In this case, your application was not completed as the required Companies House authentication code was not entered. This step is explained within our FAQs and during the filing process, as it is required in order for us to proceed with the submission on your behalf.
There was also an option within the platform to request that the authentication code be sent; however, this option was not selected during the process.
Following your request, the Companies House fee was promptly refunded as the filing was not submitted. The remaining charge relates to the administrative setup and handling of the application up to the point it was cancelled, prior to completion of the required authentication step.
We appreciate that there are different ways to complete a filing, and we are sorry to hear that our service was not the right fit for you. We do, however, value all feedback and wish you the very best with your business going forward.

Complex, unclear platform - could not submit forms
I really wanted to like this service, especially because they had such a high trust pilot score. But their website kept breaking, buttons didn’t work, and online chat didn’t work. I was left for a few days without any support - until I realised I could complete an online confirmation directly via the companies house website. I’m not sure why they would charge £33 additional fee to use their service when the service is more complex and doesn’t work. I finally filed a complaint and got a refund after a few days. I wish the entire process was clearer and more transparent

Once the Companies House record had been updated and you contacted us, we promptly reviewed and verified the ID so the filing could continue and confirmed this with you. Your refund request was also handled promptly by our team.

i paid to you £89.60 to file a confirmation statement which you did not file ,i then did it myself with companies house and paid £50.which is £39.60 cheaper than you . i have asked to be refunded and have been completely ignored by online filings .i am sure i am not the only company you have let down i am still awaiting a call back to date nothing

Because of this, we are required to complete identity verification for all directors and users before any filing can be submitted. This is a legal requirement and ensures all filings are properly validated and compliant.
In your case, the onboarding and verification steps were not completed, which unfortunately meant the Confirmation Statement could not be submitted.
We set out the verification requirements and the steps involved before checkout, including in the product information and FAQs, so customers can see what is needed prior to placing an order. In addition, we sent you reminder emails inviting you to complete the filing, to ensure you had the opportunity to finish the process.

totaly misleading service, claims ease and simplicity and no mention of extra steps proir to paying.. the whole process can be completed faster on hmrc site with far less steps.. was completly unable to use the service even after paying due to old fashioned id proof checks

We reviewed your order and can see that the filing was not completed because the authentication code was not entered during the authorisation step. This code is required in order to authorise and submit the filing. If the code is not available, there is an option within the platform to request it, so the process can continue once received. We also explain these requirements on our website before checkout, including in the product information and FAQs, so customers can see what is needed before placing an order.
We do also highlight that filing directly with the government is always an option, and some customers prefer our service for the guided process and support.
