A family-run company, One Traveller was started in 2007 by a highly experienced Tour Manager who specialised in escorting solo travel holidays. One Traveller has since gained a reputation as the UK’s number one singles holiday specialist for the over 50s and has won multiple publicly-voted awards.
What We Offer
All One Traveller holidays have many meals, drinks, excursions and extra touches included in the headline price. Every guest gets their own double room in our hand-picked four and five-star hotels, with no single supplement to pay.
We understand that the first step towards taking a solo holiday may feel like a giant leap, so we're here to ensure you have the perfect journey from start to finish. We’ll look after all those small details that really matter, allowing you to relax and enjoy the perfect holiday as a solo traveller.

Fantastic holiday ….. couldn’t fault it, One Traveller were excellent from the first phone call until the last goodbye. I travelled with a great group of people with a brilliant local guide Riaan and lovely OT tour guide Jana. So much included on this holiday, brilliant accommodation, good food, fabulous trips. Namibia is vast with stunning scenery, amazing animals and wonderful people. I learnt such a lot and enjoyed all the excursions. I didn’t want the holiday to end. I’m now home with loads of photographs and vivid memories. I am recommending One Traveller to everyone - just leave a space for me ……….

Would prefer arrangement where the morning after arrival , and the evening before departure is more relaxed .
Also need complete assurance re porterage . Unfortunate that this did not happen on the outward journey.

Perfect holidays for Solo Travellers
Exceptionally well organised travel arrangements and inclusive excursions with great tour leaders and local guides. Well thought through system for ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to meet others in the group at some stage. The Nile Cruise
The reps Carol and Jill were both very helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The Egyptologist was both knowledgeable and friendly and the boat we went down the Nile was clean with lovely food and no one got a tummy bug. It was my first holiday with one traveller and it won’t be my last and I would recommend it to my friends

The recent trip to Cairo and The Nile…
The recent trip to Cairo and The Nile was truly amazing. The leaders Carole and Jill were so well organised, they had thought of everything. Mohammed and Tamer were excellent as our Egyptologists!
The hotel in Cairo was very good, also the lunches out at various venues.
Excursions were well planned and all excellent.
Luxor and The Nile was a dream come true for me.
The flight to Abu Simbel was worth the effort, a fantastic place, the video showing the moving of it took your breath away.

Being met at the airport for the beginning of the tour. Creating a WhatsApp group to keep us updated on what was happening each day.
The local walking tour guide was excellent!
The group I was with was a really good mix of people!
