I recently ordered two DVDS from Oldies.com. For some reason, the U.S. Postal Service reported that the address I provided, which is my home address, was undeliverable. I don't blame Oldies.com for this. But instead of providing me a full refund, they still charged me for the shipping fee even though my order was never delivered.

Good varriety, good choices in all categories and good prices!

Update: it took two weeks and a PayPal dispute, but they shipped it. I got it a few days later. My original rating of three stars remains the same. I understand that they will hold orders in order to optimize shipping prices, but two weeks is a little much. The very least they could do is be more upfront about how long they may delay shipment. Had I known it was going to take the better part of a month to receive my order, quite frankly I would have paid a slightly higher price and bought from a competitor.

I ordered a CD a week and a half ago. Since I ordered during the weekend, I expected it would go out some time last week or early this week. In the time since placing the order, there have been zero updates on my order's status. So I had to call them (there's no chat option for customer service, even though we're well into the 21st century...). The rep was brisk, if a bit terse.

When I asked about this status of my order, I was told that they "just got it." That made no sense to me, unless their definition of "just got it" somehow encompasses "we got it over a week ago".

Still, I asked for an approximation of when they'd ship it. I was told "7-10 business days." The CD is now listed as being out of stock and still my order has not shipped.

At this point, I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to get my order or if I'll have to decide whether the small amount is worth fighting the bank to get refunded. If this happens, I'll lower my rating accordingly.

Even if it does show up, 3 stars is the highest I can honestly give them. I understand they're not Amazon and I don't expect Amazon service from them, but this is a little ridiculous.

For comparison, several days later, I ordered a CD from a seller on Discogs. This seller is on the other side of the US and over three times the distance from me (2300 mi vs 700 mi). They also do a lot of business. Yet, even with economy shipping via USPS, it got here last week, while the order from oldies.com has not even been shipped.

As always, what I want, delivered in a timely manner, excellent prices. Wonderful resource e for a university class I've been teaching since 200 7 on the history of broadcast!

Appalling customer service. The nice ones don't follow through with actually doing what you discussed but the worst ones are too rude even to get that far. That's IF they answer the phone. Packaging is still poor after all these decades, so expect broken jewel cases. Easy to fix these problems but they don't.

I have been ordering from Oldies.com for decades. I have never had a problem that they did not make right immediately. The quality of their video offering has continuously improved over the years and they offer titles that are very difficult to locate. Highly recommended.

In the past, I've bought a lot of different things. Oldies.com came almost to mind as an afterthought. I am relieved to have found them once again. The best rates and availability for music and movies that are difficult to locate. There will be many more purchases made.

Selection is still good, and so is price. But waiting for my DVD's has become quite annoying. I understand that covid is responsible, but the waiting is still annoying.

you keep sending my orders to the wrong address . they should be sent to 43010 se northbend way #66, north bend ,washington. nobt to a carnation address .we havent lived therefor over two years.
