I placed a click-and-collect order with OKA on 8th August and was charged immediately. After 16 days with no updates or communication, I emailed their customer service—no response even after four days. I then called and was kept on hold for a long time before finally reaching someone. I requested to cancel the order, but received no apology, explanation, or acknowledgment of the delay. The response was abrupt and dismissive. Very disappointing experience for such an expensive item and poor customer service.

Subject: Assistance Required – Faulty Lamp

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to inform you that the lamp I purchased is not working properly. I have already sent an email regarding this issue but, unfortunately, I have not received any response. I bought the lamp in the shop. I don t live in London

Could you please let me know how to proceed in order to resolve this matter? I would appreciate your assistance with either a replacement or a refund.

OKA has tremendously improved throughout the years. Their products look fantastic and the shop attendants were lovely to deal with.

Ross was very patient and helpful as he offered suggestions and helped me find to the right lampshades (color and size )for my lamps ,in view of the colour scheme and theme of my study .

I bought cushion covers in-store and was handed the wrong colours by staff — something we only realised once home. After calling, we were told nothing could be done unless we came back in person. When I did, one of the replacements I received turned out to be ripped.

I spoke to the general manager, Kate, on the phone, who was rude and dismissive. She seemed to suggest we were trying to get a freebie and implied that we might not even be entitled to a refund — despite the item clearly being faulty.

We’ve now had to arrange a return again and will have to reorder the product ourselves online. This has taken far too much time and effort for a simple order, and the customer service has been well below what I’d expect from a brand like OKA. I won’t be shopping here again.

I came to buy two cushion covers. I chose them myself, I had lots of time to think and choose which was nice. I was then looking for an assistant to come and help me.
He came up the stairs, the timing was perfect and I love my cushion covers. They are perfect!

Not good customer experience. I received an email stating that my online order could not be filled, despite the items being in store. I buy the items in store, I’m told a refund has been processed on the order but the refund doesn’t appear and I then receive emails prompting me to collect the order in store. I phoned the shop who didn’t help at all and then I phoned customer services who said they would process a refund. No explanation. An absolutely chaotic system.

I bought so many things from OKA I absolutely love their style and design. The customer experience can be a bit tricky so I would go to Chelsea and find Salvo who is the best and will help you with anything. Design wise look for Brooke at Chelsea as well she is amazing and did my entire living room.

I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience with your Chelsea store.

Five months ago, I purchased a goblet glass which now shows a clear manufacturing defect, a circular protrusion (not a chip) has formed inside the bowl of the glass. When I raised this concern with your manager Kate, I was met with a dismissive attitude and no sense of customer care. She repeatedly insisted the glass was chipped and spoke to me in a condescending manner, as if I were a child. I found this both unprofessional and insulting.

As someone who has spent thousands of pounds with OKA over the years, I am shocked that replacing a single faulty glass is considered out of the question. This experience, combined with what I feel is a noticeable decline in product quality despite consistently high prices, makes me question OKA’s current business model and customer values.
