If I could give this company negative stars, I absolutely would. This is a scam-level operation. Three words describe how they do business: unethical, non-transparent, and unreliable.
I placed my order well in advance—far beyond their stated 26-business-day policy. When I ordered, I proactively contacted them to confirm whether they could deliver by my required timeframe. They explicitly confirmed on October 6 that everything would be prepared and shipped in time for delivery no later than November 6, 2025.
Yet early November arrived, and my order was nowhere to be found.
Between November 3 and November 11, I contacted them multiple times requesting an update and clearly stating that the order should be cancelled if they could not meet the agreed deadline. Only after my fourth follow-up did they finally reply on November 11, claiming the products would be sent “shortly”—even though they admitted the items weren’t even ready.
On November 12, they told me they would cancel the order and issue a full refund. But after receiving no confirmation, I followed up again on November 18. At that point, they completely reversed their position, refusing both cancellation and refund and insisting on giving me only a store credit.
The delays, the lack of transparency, the empty promises, and the poor customer service speak for themselves. A trustworthy, customer-centric company would never trap customers with a store credit—especially when the fault lies entirely with the business, handmade or not, customized or not.
I’m sure they will reply with the usual “we’re sorry for the delay” and “we will try to improve” template message… but the reality is simple:
A company that refuses accountability and breaks its commitments is not trustworthy!

If I could give zero stars, I would.
I’ve reached out over six times to Customer Service, asking when I can expect to receive my swimsuit or at least get tracking details… I’ve never received a response with an answer. The person manning the WhatsApp number now ignores me. My husband has also reached out. This company is fraud and I’m opening up a case with trading standards. Worst customer service experience I’ve had in YEARS. This is a fraudulent company.

Avoid at all costs!!!! They didn’t tell me that my dress would take over 1 month to arrive until AFTER I PAID. MASSIVE SCAM!!!! Do not buy from these thieves

Came into the store as I wasn't sure on sizing! The girls there are so nice.

I bought a beautiful swimsuit with fishes on. When I tell you I have never had so many compliments. I will be back again!

I ordered the pink and white Vegas outfit, I ordered the wrong size it fit too snug, I sent back my order to the London store, they ordered me a size M, this did take longer than expected, everytime i communicated with them they always messaged back on WhatsApp to update me, the size M fit perfect (height 164cm weight 8stone 13lbs) they provided me with a gift voucher for good will as it took a little longer, overall good experience

If I could give this company zero stars I would . Customer service is the worse I have ever experienced. I ordered a bikini at the beginning of July , I measured myself and ordered slightly larger as I wanted more coverage on the top . The bikini came a month later , clearly labelled or made incorrectly as it was 2-3 sizes too small . When I rang and emailed customer service they didn’t respond until I said I would be calling trading standards . They then promised a refund which I am still waiting for a month later. They do not answer the phone or reply to any correspondence ! Please think carefully before buying online from this company!

After ordering a swim top 7 weeks ago, it has now almost been 2 months and I've had to constantly reach out to customer service about my order. It seems as though they forgot my order and shipped it after the 4th email I had sent. Now, I am patiently waiting for my order. They did not provide tracking and now I've found myself reaching out again for the SIXTH time to get tracking info with no success. Summer is now over and I have no need for this nonexistent bathing suit.

Edit: received the top 2 months after ordering. I was promised a discount code and something free but nothing of those sorts were received. I'm not expecting anything either. Will never order from them again. Additionally, I was told that it took so long because they had to make it. After speaking in the phone, I was told that it was coming from their US warehouse. So, I can only assume that my order was forgotten. Save your money.

Received my Calliope cushion, more lovely in real life than the photos. So sparkly and glam... recommend!!

Terrible company! I ordered a necklace and a pair of earrings for £187. The earrings took over 2 months to arrive and when they did arrive, they were broken so I had to send them back. The necklace never showed up at all! I am still trying to get my refund now and the customer service team are being very unresponsive and slow to refund me. Honestly - don’t waste your money.

Oceanus is by far my favourite swimwear brand!! Quality pieces and top customer service as well. You will always get so many compliments when you wear their swimwear! Highly recommend their cover ups and dresses as well, they are super beautiful! 🩷✨

The bikinis are super cute! I got one for my holiday and I got sooo many compliments. The quality is amazing and it's all so beautifully made!!

I purchased a splendid swimsuit from Italy, excellent materials and a fantastic design with efficient customer service, precious and very special products, highly recommended.

What a terrible terrible service. I’ve bought Oceanus items previously from reselling websites and the items are beautiful and of really high quality.
On this basis I decided to take the plunge and on the 18th May 2025 ordered a swimsuit, bikini top and a dress. Totalling £1200+… a massive whack of money.
I emailed straight away to ask about delivery as I knew the items were made to order and was hopeful it would arrive in time for some holidays.
At this point I had received multiple different dates committing their delivery times. One email says 26 business days, another email stated 14-20 working days.

Good news… I got an email on the 2nd June saying the swimsuit was out for delivery on the 3rd (not the other items). On the 3rd the item was delivered… but not to my address. I’m based in the North East of U.K. and this was delivered to an unknown address in London.
I immediately contacted customer services who told me I was wrong and to recheck?!? How bizarre… the battle started here. I have no idea where they sent the item to, but I had to chase them and push to find the order. I even had to log into the DHL delivery system, print screen the proof of delivery and details of address to share with them as proof it went elsewhere?!
Thankfully It was returned to the shop. Someone contacted me to say ‘I was lucky it was returned to shop’ so they could then send it to me. Why was I lucky?! lol I gave the correct details and I’m now certain if it didn’t arrive I would have had a massive battle for a refund.

Fast forward to 25th June, we are well past the dates committed. I email asking for an update. A very nonchalant response.
1st July - another email to ask for an update. It’s now 33 working days since I order mid May, I also ask to cancel the order. I’m £1000 out of pocket with no dress or bikini, no updates and multiple months later.
2nd July - I’m given a WhatsApp number and told I can’t cancel. Why not? No explanation, no full response. It’s outrageous.
This is a high end retailer who has ignored the importance of customer experience and satisfaction. It’s disgusting.
I’ve been battling since this point to get details. My order eventually arrives mid July and I inform them I want to issue a return and a full refund for the items.

They are now claiming that they will not offer a refund only a store credit.
THIS IS ILLEGAL UNDER UK LAW.
They claim that the items are ‘bespoke’ which means that they do not have to provide a refund.
This is not true. The items are made to order and legally there is significant differences. This has been confirmed with many legal cases that were taken to court.
Made to order is not a bespoke order. This has been confirmed with legal cases. A bespoke item is something like a football shirt that you have your surname printed on - you’ve made customisations to it, it’s unique and it’s lost its resell value. No one will buy a top with your surname on.
U.K. girls… they need to be reported to trading standards and we will be able to get a refund. The key differences are below but as these items are not customised in any way and easy to reorder from site, selfridges or buy in store or online and also hold their value and easy to resell. IT IS NOT BESPOKE.

Bespoke:
- Highly customised to the individual's specific requirements.
- May involve unique designs, materials, or measurements provided by the customer.
- Often difficult to resell due to its unique nature.

Made to Order:
- Often involves selecting from pre-defined options provided by the seller.
- May include choices like size, color, or minor customisations.
- Generally, still has a market value and can be resold.

Opening a case with trading standards today 1st August.

I got one half of my order and the second half is nowhere to be seen. I’ve reached out countless times to their “customer support” team (if you can even call them that) and I received NO RESPONSE. At all. I really don’t recommend you purchase directly from the store. If you must, buy from a reseller. It’s been months and I have no idea if I’m going to receive my package and what happened to it…

Brilliant company based in London.
The lady kept me up to date as to when the dress I wanted to look at arrived in the shop.
The dress arrived and I went to visit the shop the next day. The lady’s were very helpful and friendly. The dress was perfect

Terrible customer service. Waited 6 weeks for my order just for them to send me the WRONG ITEM. Haven’t heard back from
the company despite multiple emails. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

This company is an absolute fraud! I placed an order with them two months ago and the only reply I get when I reach out is that they are looking into it. I paid a lot of money to have my item and they have super cute stuff so I am extremely disappointed in their customer service and I have yet to hear from them.

I recently preordered the Calliope swimsuit from Oceanus The Label, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The craftsmanship and attention to detail are absolutely stunning — every stitch and embellishment feels luxurious and well thought out. It fits beautifully and feels incredibly flattering. I’ve never felt more confident in a swimsuit. Totally worth the wait, and I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend if you're looking for something unique and elegant!

I placed an order and waited an entire month without the items ever being shipped. I contacted the company and told them I no longer needed the items and requested a refund. They assured me the money would be returned to my bank account.
Now, I have been fighting for over a week to receive my refund. I keep getting vague promises that it’s being processed, but no money has arrived. They no longer respond to my messages, and I feel completely ignored.
This has been an absolutely awful experience. I paid €500, received no products, and now I’m being forced to chase my own refund. I strongly advise everyone to avoid shopping here.

I didn't receive the products I paid!
I placed an order on 16th of February.
We are on april 28th I still haven't recived the items I purchased.
Since 3rd of april they said they were going to send the items, so far no tracking number, no answer to my emails.
Very disappointing experience, I was looking forward to receive these swimwears as they look beautiful on the website.

UPDATE: We are on July 2025 and I still haven't received the swimwear, they keep saying they will receive a batch soon.
Avoid the stress and delays.
