We bought a new bed and bedside tables from Oakland Furniture the end of January 2026, so a solid wood bed frame a d headboard. Within 4 months of having the bed the headboard began splitting in the middle we did take insurance out when we bought the furniture. The insurance company came and said because the headboard was by the window the direct sunlight had split the headboard and it would not do anything. We do have vertical blinds in the bedroom and this happened before we had any of the hot weather we have experienced this year. Very disappointed this has happened in this short amount of time and for furniture that was expensive

We have been there to buy a sofa and brought 3+2 sofa. Very good customer service especially Sue, what a lovely staff, she takes the time to explain each and every details of the service.

What amazing staff especially Phil the manager , he went above and beyond to help us , nothing was too much bother , I wouldn’t hesitate to go into the showroom again ,

Ordered a new bed frame which took 7 weeks to be made, but i was not disappointed. The frame is high quality and will last a lifetime. The in-store service was excellent with no ridiculous fees added to the service. The delivery team was quick and efficient, completing the process in less than 10 minutes. No faults, no complaints. Simple, as it should be. I will be shopping there again.

My 3 seater recliner and 2 seater sofa were delivered yesterday evening and would just like to say a massive thank you to the 2 delivery guys robbie and Phil from Liverpool. They arrived at 7pm to me in Llandudno and had another 3 calls to make that evening before returning to Liverpool. Not only did they manage to get the 2 sofas up a flight of stairs but also moved my existing bed settee from my living room to bedroom! Am really pleased with my purchase and top class delivery.

Fantastic choice, wonderful staff Sue and Wayne. We were well and truly looked after from start to finish.

Amazing lady called sue, after speaking for only a few minutes find out our style pointed to a table and chairs which was just perfect for us, and Wayne fantastic gentleman with a cheeky little magic trick that shocked my wife, was a true family feel.

My mum and I popped in today to look at some bedroom furniture, after meeting Wayne & Sue who were so lovely, informative. At no point did we feel under pressure to purchase anything. We in the end purchased a bed and bedroom furniture and couldn’t be happier. Genuinely couldn’t recommend Oakland’s furniture enough. Thank you for everything, we will be back soon

Good communication from Customer Services who resolved a difficult situation.

What a wonderful place. Wayne is most helpful and goes out of his way to offer advice and source furniture for you. We have brought a sofa from Wayne previously so when we needed to furnish a second home in Devon this is where we got everything from. Wayne stored everything for us as there was a little hitch with completion dates and then it was all delivered put together ie beds and headboards etc and put in place with a smile. Wonderful delivery men and an amazing service. We pop in from time to time to see what new little treasures he has to offer and often come out with one.
The most amazing place great prices and wonderful service.

Sent out damage goods, no quality control as the item was not put together properly with cracked joints throughout, the stand was not stable as its counterpart — I asked for a replacement and I am still waiting to receive it, this has been on going 3+ weeks, emailed them with no response at all until myself and partner called three times to get an answer, which is infuriating; the customer service is shocking, £180 later and I have half an order.

I understand that furniture orders tend to come from mostly Asia which in turn takes time to get stocks in place, but there is no estimated delivery dates with this company nothing, you're just expected to wait; which I have done patiently until now.

I suspect that the damaged item was sent out in the hope I would've accepted it but I am all about principle, I paid good money; in fact overpaid looking at the quality of the side units but still people like this will try to swindle you.

They also use XDP as their courier service which is just as shocking as this company.

Oaklands Furniture LTD if you are reading this review, as discussed on my call if this issues is not resolved, I will get my Credit Card company to resolve on my behalf.
