Where do I begin—ONLY GOT REFUND MINUTES BEFORE THEIR DEADLINE - WITH ME GOING TO THE COURTS TO FILE AGAINST THEM. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have had with any company.

I chose NZ Blooms specifically because your website repeatedly advertises “Stokes Valley same-day delivery if ordered before 1pm.” Based on this clear representation, I placed and paid for an order at 7:25am and received confirmation that delivery would occur that same day. This was a time-sensitive purchase for a staff member, arranged through our work email, and same-day delivery was essential.

However, the situation quickly became unacceptable. Upon checking emails the following morning, I found a message sent at 8:26pm advising that the courier had already left before my order was placed, and that delivery would instead occur the following Tuesday—five days later, after ANZAC weekend. This explanation is completely inconsistent with their advertised service. I placed my order well before 1pm, so it is unclear how the courier could have “already left.”

I immediately requested cancellation and a full refund. Their terms and conditions state that cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery are eligible for a full refund. Despite this, my cancellation request was not actioned, and the flowers were delivered regardless on Sunday afternoon (they stated in their email that delivery would be the Tuesday)

What followed was an unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating process involving approximately ten emails, repeatedly insisting on a refund I was clearly entitled to. Only after I formally advised that I would be lodging a claim through the courts for both a refund and compensation for my time was the refund processed—mere minutes before I proceeded.

This experience reflects extremely poor service, misleading advertising, and a failure to adhere to your own stated policies. Customers should not have to threaten legal action to receive a legitimate refund.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend NZ Blooms. The entire process—from misleading delivery claims to the refusal to promptly honour a valid cancellation—was unacceptable.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Never arrived, hard to deal with, had to contact multiple times for a response. Avoid at all costs!

Yep - it's a scam. Read all the other terrible reviews. Surely they'll get done by commerce commission or something soon. Feel sorry for all the mothers this Sunday....

I consider this Company an offshore well-organised scam!
Ordered & paid for a bouquet to be delivered. It NEVER arrived!
I found it impossible to communicate with the Company by phone or email. Emails never responded to, phones never answered.
Raised a case with NZ Commerce Commision!

This Company has been fined huge sums in Australia.

Rating my experience is 0 stars, better to say minus 100…horrible, humiliating and stressful experience!
I hope someone shuts this company down as earliest possible.

This was for my daughter’s 30th birthday as I was not in NZ, so I ordered it online from Europe.

1. The deluxe designers collection II was the furtherest away from what was advertised and what I paid for 129.95$, any supermarket flowers would look much better and more appealing than what was received!

What was supposed to be a beautiful, big and luxurious looking bouquet full of gorgeous light coloured flowers ended up as a smallest possible bouquet of dark and too many colours flowers not even matching properly each other, squeezed without any beauty or order like a toddler was playing with colours.
That bouquet would cost 30$!
Disappointing and insulting!

2. It was not delivered as requested, we called several times, no one answered my emails and finally, it arrived 9hours later.

3. Gift basket Gourmet collection LUXE, sure luxe hahahaha for 64.95$.
That was the most pathetic, cheap looking and miserable thing I have ever seen that someone can actually dare to sell as a gift.

You would find those kind of items that were received (cotton candy in a PLASTIC cup, crackers in plastic wrap instead of Belgian truffles and Italian chocolates) on the street markets in some SE Asian countries and that would cost around 1$!

What a humiliation, embarrassment and pain I felt when my daughter sent me the pictures, unbelievable!

But the worst thing is that these fraudsters and cheaters insult your intelligence and have audacity to offer you a store credit of 30$ considering you so stupid, naive and illiterate, as if you were going to ever again buy something from their site.

What a joke, what a sh.tshow!!!

And they still work, still cheating and stealing money from the customers!

Do not use this company. We bought flowers and then after reading the numerous bad reviews we requested to cancel the order within the advertised 60mins. We have called the three times and each time we were told a refund was processed, which he hadn’t been. We then spoke to another person who ‘attempted’ to email two seperate email address so that we could ‘confirm’ we wanted a refund but no emails came through, the phone call then disconnected. Each time the customer service member was uninterested, rude or completely incapable. 0/10 would not recommend.

The flowers were not the colour I ordered, were of exceptionally poor quality, were delivered in a massive box with a single recycled sheet of tissue paper around them. When I rang to complain, I was twice given an incorrect email. They never had the courtesy to respond to my email, so I called them a week later and was offered a $30 discount on any further orders I placed through them. I told them I wanted a replacement bouquet sent or my money back. The replacement bouquet died after only 2 days. Appalling products, appalling customer ‘service’. I would NEVER entertain them again! Use them at your peril!

My order was delivered 2 days late (for a anniversary this was a waste of time) amd was half the size of what I ordered. Disgusted.

Used them once, wouldn't again. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Now I also notice I think they overcharged, can't be bothered making contact again. Had to ring twice on the day of delivery to check status as the link they sent didn't work, said no order placed. Who delivers flowers up to 8pm at night, if I had known that should have ordered for the day before the birthday.

I asked for flowers to be delivered on a certain dare for a birthday. Arrived a day later.

I do not normally leave bad reviews on a company as I try to find one good thing. With this company I could not. NZ Blooms claimed it does same day delivery. I made and paid for my selection the day before the requested delivery, so not on the same day. Not only was it not delivered on time (it was 2 days late and delivered by NZ Post, not NzBloom). It was certainly not what I ordered, which was Designer Collection Deluxe in Mason Jar 111. The receiver's son sent me a photo of what was delivered - how embarrassing and maddening. It was a small bunch of wilted flowers, lots of greenery and included a teddy bear which I never ordered. In addition, they offer a sign-up discount and then charge an exorbitant delivery fee. Attempts to contact the company on numerous occasions all failed. There is no honest transparency with this company. I will not use them again and definitely NOT recommend them. In these times if you cannot be honest with your customer in providing the services you claim you can then do not offer services.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
there is no way to contact them, we have lodged a dispute with the bank and can only hope to get out money back, but no flowers, no communication, nothing.

I too had a bad experience, paid for a large bouquet of flowers for my anniversary to send to my wife. Ordered 4 days before the due date They arrived a day late and I got an email saying flower types had changed(yeah that’s cool, flowers change) what I got was a small bunch of flowers in box that said discounted flowers in bold letters. Not a good look and make me look like a cheapskate. Called and emailed 6 times with no response. I paid close to 190 for this small bunch of flowers. Feel like I got scammed. DONT USE

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering! Phoned the first time to confirm delivery today and met with not the most helpful person, phoned several hours later and told delivery by 8pm, it’s now 8:30 and no delivery. Won’t ever order from here again and recommend going elsewhere.
Followed up the next morning turns out they were delivered and left in the letterbox! The worst service ever.

Did not deliver on the same day as advertised. Dont waste your money or time using this company especially for special occasions. Custom service also pretty unhelpful and didn't sound at all surprised the flowers hadn't arrived as requested. 🤬

False pretences- they offer same day delivery but don’t deliver. Not same day, not next day, not until seven days from the order! For a funeral.

I feel lucky that my husband received the rose I sent him at work for his birthday, albeit just after the end of the working day so the effect wasn't as hoped. Going by these other reviews (which I should have read before ordering, and normally do!!), we did a lot better than most. The rose was in good condition although only accompanied by one piece of greenery when the picture had shown two. Before the arrival, I checked the delivery status on the Shop app and was shown it had been delivered two hours before that time (it hadn't). I rang the 0800 number (please be aware that one version of this number on the website has a typo in it: an extra 0) and was told it was on its way but they couldn't give me a time. I rang back a couple of hours later to be told (after pressing them a bit) that yes it would be 'definitely today'. More time passed, I tried the chat bot and they said today as well. Perhaps next time I should specify that I need it delivered by a certain time, but the rose's courier slip said it was being delivered to a home/residence which makes me grateful that it wasn't delivered to my husband's work around 9pm (like it says they do for home deliveries)! Also please be aware that the packaging the rose came in was from Bloomex (who have a bad rep), so it looks like Nzblooms does partner with them. I likely won't go with Nzblooms again, but as I say I feel lucky that the rose arrived at all and that it wasn't half dead. Sorry to read everyone else's experiences apart from those 2 or so OK reviews.

I live in Australia and wanted to send flowers in NZ. I ordered on Sunday for next day delivery. Got a message late Monday night saying the location was outside of same day delivery which isn’t noted anywhere on my order or website. They then emailed me saying due to “unforeseen circumstances “ they couldn’t create the arrangement id ordered. Long story short flowers were delivered late Tuesday and they couldn’t have been any further from what I wanted. I ordered light pastels and got a slapped together harsh reds.
Will never order from them again
