RIPPED OFF!!
I bought two sets of socks Shimmer and Glow.
The Glow pack contains 5 pairs. I had to give away 3 pairs to my wife because they were far too small and one of the pair I kept is a little tight.
The Shimmer pack contains one pair. A great fit, warm and comfortable. Problem is that after two months they are developing holes in various places.
So, all in all, what a very disappointing purchase. I feel I have been ripped off because of total lack of quality.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PIRATES

Poor quality wool socks provided that…
Poor quality wool socks provided that were drastically smaller than the advertised size, to the point of being impossible to put on.
Advertised as a small family business closing down on Facebook with a final disposal of goods sale in 2025. Obviously not true in 2026.
My feedback to Nordic Wool as requested by them to which I received NO reply:-
They are made of wool but rather thin compared to what I would have expected.
Worse than that the sizing is very poor - I am a size UK 9 and purchased 3 sets of Large 9-11 to get a generous fit. Instead of that I got socks which can barely stretch to fit over my heel to pull on and are hardly long enough for size 9 feet. How anybody with size 10 or size 11 would be expected to wear these is beyond belief.
I should have realised the price was too cheap to really offer a good wool sock, pity I purchased 3 packs. I should have checked first and realised I was buying cheap look-a-likes from Hong Kong.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with this company and would not recommend. Purchased from them after seeing they were closing down, which it would appear they are not. Socks are very poor quality, parcel arrived with no product care instructions, delivery note or return note and after sending various messages on their Facebook page and to their email account regarding a return, no reply has been received. AVOID

Customer service? What customer service?
Three times I've emailed them, asking about arranging a return and/or replacement, three times ive had no response at all. Its not as if these socks are inexpensive either. What do i have to do to get a response from their seemingly non existent customer service team??

Avoid this store
Avoid this store. It's a scam. I received socks. They're unusable. This "wool" doesn't stretch at all. The socks pinch my feet and are uncomfortable. I've sent several emails requesting a replacement. No response.

Beware - do not get caught out
This company are constantly stating they are closing down. When eventually the socks arrived it turns out they were sent from China. They are not particularly good quality socks and are grossly under sized. I bought a size L supposedly size 9-11 for my size 9 feet but they were uncomfortably tight even before first wash.
I tried to return but all attempts to make contact were ignored so socks have gone in a charity donation bag!
I won't make this mistake again.

I have ordered the socks on 16/1 as…
I have ordered the socks on 16/1 as they advertised closing sale - the socks arrived (from china!), fairly quickly on 23/01
The quality of them was not as I experienced from other wool companies therefore I wanted to return them
I emailed the company and got a reply very quickly (same day!) and then after explaining the reason for refund they said it’s been processed same day (23/01) and I that can keep the socks as gesture of good will.
It’s 9th of Feb , the refund hasn’t been processed, I emailed the company twice - on 31/01 and 5/2 (and just now) to chase it up and theystopped responding altogether

I want to be absolutely clear that Nordic Wool is not a scam. We are a legitimate business, and while our manufacturing partner is based in Asia, we are and fully contactable. Many clothing brands operate this way, but I appreciate that the delivery origin can be surprising if you weren’t expecting it.
You were correct to be told on 23/01 that a refund would be issued and that you could keep the socks as a goodwill gesture. The fact that the refund hasn’t yet appeared is not acceptable, and I apologise sincerely for both the delay and the lack of follow-up communication — that part is on us.

Include your order number and the name used on the order, and we will ensure the refund is either confirmed or reissued and that you receive written confirmation.

Don’t believe a word regarding a refund! Still waiting …….
The refund confirmation sent is completely WRONG
The order details are incorrect ( should be Summit & Frost) and the amount should be £29.98 to Mastercard, NOT Visa ☹️

Re your gesture of goodwill I didn’t want to keep the Chinese socks as they smelled horrible and were too small anyway due to your rubbish sizing.
