We thank Nordic Visitor so much for arranging such a wonderful trip. Everything was perfect in providing spectacular scenery and a variety of impressive accommodations. We had a great time despite a few problems. First of all, one of our two pieces of baggage never showed up at the Munich airport but we managed with fewer clothing changes. Secondly, and more importantly, the navigation on our Sixt car rental was antiquated and difficult to follow despite the assistance of maps. This was after we had rejected two other cars at the rental as we depend heavily on vocal navagiton. However, we still managed to arrive at our destinations in time and only got lost when listening to locals. All in all, it was a fascinating experience arranged by Nordic Visitor and is why I've stayed with them over the years for my trip planning.

The trip was extremely well organized. The company gives you a personal contact to answer all your questions, communicating frequently. Marko was ours and he was fantastic. Very responsive. Our Guide for the tour was Kiddi. He was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. It was especially good to be “in his hands” during a record breaking freak snowstorm. We hit all the key sights and more. It was great having the flexibility to make stops off itinerary. A great trip.

Communication with Nordic Visitor was quick and easy. All aspects of our trip, the travel, tours, excursions, and lodging, were seamless and easy to navigate throughout each stop in Norway.

We did a 8 day/7 night northern lights circle tour in Iceland, including an extra additional day before the tour began so we were there from Oct 21 until the 29th. This was our first international trip. Markó Puskás, our travel consultant, made sure our booking inquiries were answered promptly as well as ensured our transports in between hotel and airport were covered. Our tour guide Aron was more than amazing. Very knowledgeable, hilarious, and always kept our group engaged with the entire tour. While showing and transporting us from the structured schedule of the circle tour, he always included history and local stories. I wouldn’t have asked for anyone better than him! And I would love to also thank our wonderful food tour guide, Dagur. Another yet amazing enthusiastic and hilarious individual who made sure we were well fed on such wonderful cuisine here in Reykjavík. Always kept the group engaged and laughing along the way. Thank you all so much for making this very special for us.

My travel advisor Marko promptly answered all my email questions, kept me informed of the booking process, and even provided suggestions for tours before/after our Nordic Visitor tour.

Our driver/guide Reynir did a fine job. He talked just enough during our journey to keep us interested without talking too much. He was a very good organizer, keeping is informed of when/where to be someplace. He was an excellent driver.

There was enough activity each day. Most days on the minibus from 9-5. Usually 3-4 different stops. Most were nature related, but there were cultural stops as well. At almost every stop people could explore at their own pace which was very important as the group had a wide variety of fitness levels. The sights were amazing!

Our accommodations ranged from good to outstanding. The food was excellent at all the hotels. The service everywhere was very good.

I would strongly recommend this tour.

Lauriane was amazing. We booked a 10 day driving trip in Scotland. She consistantly communicated with us, advising us on options and setting up all our request. We stayed in a wide variety of inns/hotels/lodges all fabulous. We were late one night to check in and Nordic Visitors called us to make sure we were ok.
The documentation we received was extreamly helpful. We recieved a book with a peronsal itinerary, 147 places to visit by location, a restaurant list, driving instruction and other useful information.
We added addtional dates at the end of the Nordic trip and they handled all the reservations. I would encourage anyone planning a trip to look at Nordic Visitors. You won't be disappointed. We will be taking another trip next year with them to Ireland! Can't wait!!!!!

We love having everything pre-booked in terms of lodging and travel. It makes everything so much easier and it's great to know if you need help, someone is a quick email or phone call away. We had a storm come through during our stay in Ireland and the company called to check in on us and make sure everything was OK.

We love working with Nordic Visitor. They are very organized and we never feel lost on our trips. They suggest wonderful sites to see and we pick and choose what we want to do.

My wife and I took the Nordic Visitor Iceland Full Circle Classic tour. From before landing in Iceland all the way through the very last detail of our departure, our Travel Consultant, Marko Puskas, was with us. What makes Nordic Visitor so exceptional is that they are detail oriented and thorough, leaving no stone unturned and nothing to chance. What makes Marko so exceptional is that he is a consummate communicator who anticipates and follows up quickly without fail.

Iceland was totally new to us: not only uncharted but practically off the map from my perspective. Although it was only my wife and me driving around all of Iceland, we knew we were never alone. We always had a lifeline back to Marko, one we used on occasion

Our travel through Iceland was a bit daring for someone in his 70s. Nordic Visitor and especially Marko inspired total confidence, making our whole experience seamless and unforgettable.

She provided very useful information and was very prompt in her replies.
Mr Hávar, the tour manager and driver took pains to drive very carefully despite the rain and provided interesting information about Iceland sites , culture and myths .Mr Hávar is very knowledgeable and friendly. Both of them made my holiday so enjoyable.

Michelle Walsh was wonderful planning our trip. She listened to our needs and adjusted accordingly. The accompanying documents are very detailed and helpful. The road map was also very useful.

We had good communication with Nordic Visitor before and after the trip. They provided good explanation of itineraries, breakfast, lodging and travel. Our guides, Dave (Scotland) and Geoff (Ireland) were fantastic and tailored the trip to our interests. The welcome package with itineraries and vouchers was helpful.
The ability to communicate with the guides ahead of the trip would improve the process even more.

We are based in NZ and had never heard of this company, but decided to take the punt as we liked what they had to offer, in particular the self drive options . They were amazing! Chris responded to our requests via email promptly. Gave us great advice. Recommended awesome places to see along our route. We added a few xtra days here and there. Fantastic time, no regrets at all. Highly recommended.

We loved the hotels they selected, the small group size of 14, the restaurants and excursions that were part of a well-planned itinerary. We look forward to our next trip!

Nordic Visitor provides great information about things to do in the area and also provides a travel guide. We did a self driving tour and this information gave us the chance to explore the things we wanted to see and skip those that did not interest us. The travel consultants are very responsive and provide great information about everything - driving, tolls, restaurants, etc. The hotels that Nordic Visitor picked for us were wonderful. It was a nice mix of larger hotels and bed and breakfast style hotels. The staff picks they provide also led us to some places to eat that we would never have found on our own, and they were extremely good!!

Our trip was wonderful. Our guide, Dave and driver, John made a great team and were very pleasant. We called them "The Tour Daddies". The size of the group was just right and small enough to get into sites the big busses could not.
All accommodations were comfortable and clean and the dinners were great.

It was a wonderful vacation, Michelle listened to what we wanted in a trip and she created an itinerary that fit us perfectly. She or her assistants were available for us, during our trip for any questions that arose. It was a great trip and I would highly recommend booking with a Nordic visitor in the future.

We booked the Complete Scotland and Ireland self driving tour and our Travel Consultant, Michelle, was outstanding! She communicated clearly every step of the way, and planned an amazing trip and itinerary. All the reservations were flawless, with no mix ups. She booked us at wonderful accommodations, nearest to the main attractions of a town, city or village. Our itinerary included a map with areas clearly highlighted, along with complete travel guides. Hire Nordic Visitor if you want a hassle free travel experience, all planned for each day.

We booked the Express Ireland - Self Drive Tour and it was Amazing! When we got to our first hotel we received our welcome kit, which had all our vacation details along with tips and a book detailing all the sites we could see along the way. A large map highlighting the route we were taking and where all the sites were was also included and very helpful. Jana, our travel expert, was so great and answered all our pre-booking questions and then planned our trip. The hotel accommodations were great as well, one hotel being on the beach in Galway Bay and one being on a lake right next to a National Park In Killarney. We were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip with Nordic Visitor!

I will never travel out of the country any other way again! Nordic Visitor made our trip to Scotland so seamless, and for an amazingly affordable price. We took a 12-day self-drive tour and everything was taken care of for us! From the minute we landed, we had a scheduled airport transfer, hotel reservations for each day (in gorgeous and adorable hotels or B&B guesthouses + daily included breakfast), a rental car booked, and even ferry crossing reservations. We added on extras like the Glenlivet and Talisker distillery tours, a ghost tour, and a cruise on Loch Ness, and never ran into a problem with any reservation. Even the times Nordic Visitor selected for these fit into our driving schedule and other activities. Our agent, Magda, was with us all along the way and helped us customize the trip to perfection, we even got a nice welcome packet at our first hotel with all our reservation details and travel tips printed out for us. We are planning on going again next year, and are excited to book through Nordic Visitor again for an even longer trip!

The guide for our trip was exceptionally knowledgeable about Iceland. He knew everything about the geology geography history literature and language of Iceland. He shared a lot of stories that made our trip much more personal. Every hotel was quite different. Meals were excellent. I was really shocked and surprised at the variety of fruits and vegetables on a tiny island with very little sunshine. There was tremendous creativity in the culinary arts throughout the trip. Morning buffets for breakfast were more than sufficient. Weight staff were friendly I noticed that many of them spoke several languages we're not only saw and hiked and enjoyed many of the fantastic geological wonders of Iceland but our guide was able to fill in with additional information that you would never get if you visited these places on your own. As a photographer I always felt that I had adequate time to explore and catch the shots that I wanted and the ones that just seemed to appear.
