I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist working with Jackie. So far my experience has been wonderful.
Jackie is very responsive and helpful to my concerns. I communicated that I need specific direction and she does her best to do just that.
I've learned a lot and grown a lot thus far and am eager to see how much more growth can be achieved. I really appreciate the accountability as I could just as easily let things go undone but Jackie does not let me do so and is constantly cheering me on.
2 very minor critiques - First, I do wish a lot of the content was geared towards more than just hair. I find that having to do the extra step of figuring out how to apply the tools & tips to can be a bit frustrating at times. If you do hair, you have very specific examples laid out every time. If not, but still want the same examples, you'll need to contact your consultant and/or make a live class. The live classes are truly great, I just can't always make the times work.
Secondly, I do feel a bit panicked about having to memorize all of this information before the 90 days is up. I did not realize the access was temporary upon signing up.
Overall, it's a great program with a ton of useful information, tips, tools & support.

Throughout this 90 day program I have learned so much about what I needed to do to not only work in my business but work on it. Randi has guided me step by step on analyzing what was not working for me, what I needed to work on, and the steps I needed to take to get to where I want to be. How to organize my scatter brain thoughts, understand my finances, learn about branding and marketing, new techniques, and the zoom classes ! Having a community where we are all motivating and listening to each others struggles and ideas has been so amazing for me especially as a booth renter. They don’t teach you this stuff in hairschool, and I recommend this program to anyone wanting to be a well rounded successful business owner. The only thing that I don’t love after investing more on this program than I’ve ever invested in any education, is I wish I still had access to the videos in the slice squad app as I did pay so much money and there are hundreds of videos, some an hour + long (and I spend HOURS watching as many videos/zoom classes as I could DURING the holidays 🙃) that I didn’t have time to watch and lost access to after my 90 days which I think is a little unfair

What a journey! I gained a lot from all 180 days with coach Adriana, she is truly so motivating and helpful. The calls, sending me links to things I was having trouble with, serious guidance and positive helpful suggestions. Baybeeee the spreadsheets alone were worth the investment! Such a game changer for the rest of my career.

When I joined slice squad consulting I was off of work recovering from a major surgery and I knew when I returned to work I wanted my career to look much different. I was feeling burnt out, not support, the team i was surrounded by felt less like a "team."

Initially I joined to reset my mindset and learn faster techniques to provide my clients amazing hair results in less time. Not only did both of things occur but it took on a completely different direction half way through into really learning the business side of everything and within 4 weeks opening my own studio! Because of the tools, techniques, boundaries, and overall mental health with regards to my career I now work 3 days behind the chair making more than when I worked 5! And its not ending there...now enrolled in Slice Strands to add another service to my clients that can provide amazing results! Hopefully 2 days behind the chair sometime this year and even more revenue!

So thank you Slice Squad for all that you do and the people you help!! I would not be in the position I am now without you!

I really do wish I could give a higher review. I really really want to as all the people individually are pretty awesome. They all have amazing qualities and are doing something incredible!!

That said, this program was promised one on one consulting which I did not receive. Was promised that I would have a 50% increase in revenue which is far from what happened. In fact I ended up investing in a new color line I couldn’t afford and almost into their newest “Slice Strands” and if I didn’t have a 50% increase they wouldn’t drop me but they did. I will say that one consultant who wasn’t the one assigned to me reached out just a few days before my termination and did give some help. This was the help I had been asking for for over a month.

I gave 100% into staying active and asking for help. I wasn’t givin any direction. As far as implementing new systems like no show policies and on line consultation forms, I already had this. My consultant never even brought this up with me. Not once. She never got to know anything about me. Nothing.

I’m really frustrated with all these programs. You buy into it for a promise and expectation and what then turns into more of them marketing themselves. I was told they weren’t in business with Megix and I wouldn’t need to use this color line to get the same results yet they constantly talk about how much better Megix is with being non progressive and saving time. And now they are actually partnered with Megix. Saw that coming.

Then they create Slice Strands. And I’m very very impressed and would have loved to buy into this. They constantly talked about the launch of slice strands and even in class.

Then they talk about Breathe Work. Which is a whole different ball game. Ugh, what next.

I’m sad to write this. Really genuinely sad. I know they are helping a lot of people. People that had money to buy into everything else they were promoting. If you did that then you got their attention. This is how it works and I have to believe this wasn’t personal. It’s just business. It’s how everything is now. The more you give the more you get. I gave 100% into participating but couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting that back. Now I do. They have too many other programs they are working on and constantly taking in new people to this program how the heck can they have the time for everyone. With what, 4 consultants who also work full time in the salon and working on other programs.

If I wanted to book my 15 min one on one she was booked weeks out. This is a 90 day program. That isn’t really acceptable. And only 15 mins they call a check in. What was I even supposed to check in about when I wasn’t givin any direction.

So if you actually read this, believe me I’m saddened by my experience. I know for a fact this isn’t the case with everyone. But the more they promote new products and programs the bigger they get and the less time they actually have for the “consulting” part of Slice Squad Consultants.

Take this as a genuinely authentic review.

In July 2023, I joined SSC eagerly anticipating the benefits it could offer me. Initially, I faced challenges with a consultant who wasn't the best fit. When I shared my concerns with the SSC team, they promptly rallied to resolve the issues, which was incredibly supportive.

Come October, I began working officially with Delora, and it has been a fantastic experience. Her kindness, encouragement, and ability to offer a fresh perspective have been invaluable for both my professional and personal growth.

Delora played a pivotal role in boosting my confidence in my work by encouraging me to practice new techniques for greater efficiency. Additionally, she suggested daily journaling and gratitude exercises to enhance my mindset, which has made a remarkable difference in my life.

I feel immensely fortunate to have Delora as both my consultant and confidant. I eagerly anticipate continuing our collaboration in the future.

I’ve joined SSC 3 times!
Once just starting off independently no clientele (and at the time SSC was for experienced stylist) and myself & so many others still noticed a huge change!
The second time going into it I was better prepared & busier in the salon so the business portion really elevated things for me!!
And now I’m currently in SSC premier for a full year & I can’t wait to watch my business grow. From 2022-2023 I grossed 20k more than the year prior and I’m hoping with the help of SSC 2024 will be even better

This whole experience has been life changing for me! I have been a hairstylist for six years now and I felt like I hit a wall. I had no direction and I felt my creativity lacking. I took a leap of faith and invested in myself taking this program. AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! I have learned so many time saving techniques and it has help me and my business grow. I have a better understanding of communicating to my clients and not afraid to charge my time and worth. My mentor Andrea is absolutely incredible, and she really helped me understand what I needed to change to be a better stylist and how to grow. I feel like I'm a brand new stylist with a different mindset! I can't wait to see what 2024 look like for me with everything that I have learned!

Where do I even begin? I was highly skeptical of a consulting program due to seeing SO many out there and the cookie cutter experience they all wanted to deliver. When I discovered Slice Squad I instantly vibed with the straight forward/no nonsense approach they have to technical education, self development, and business development! Naturally, I watched for a while as they evolved and I LOVED how unique they were and how they didn’t conform to “industry trends.” I would recommend this for anyone brand new into the industry of course! How different my life would look today if these educational gems were a part of my life when I was fresh in the industry…. Better late than never though! I’m leveling up in my career and as an individual. It really doesn’t get any better than this. Oh, and don’t miss their in person events! They’re out of this world and they really do bring likeminded people together as a family. Adriana is my mentor and she will forever be my industry “Mother” — She is what has been missing from me all these years! I love her! All the ladies of SS are amazing and each bring unique skill to the table. Slice Squad will always be a part of my life and being a suite owner, community is SO vital.

I worked with Slice Squad Consulting for 9months - 3months in the original consulting program and then I was invited to join their Premier Artistry for 6months. The information, guidance, and friendships I gained through this program has been an invaluable asset to my business.
For me, it was more than just learning technique. I was already a pretty fast stylist. No, I needed help on the backend - marketing, numbers, overall business management. This consulting program helped me build confidence in myself, learn how to market to my target audience, to learn how to run my business the way I wanted to and so much more.
The weekly classes are a wealth of knowledge. Each of the mentors take turns putting on technique, mindset, and business classes. These are REAL stylists and business people that you can ACTUALLY talk to, relate to, and feel genuinely comfortable with. THEY FREAKING CARE. This is not another cookie cutter, one size fits all program. It's fluid and made to fit for YOU and your unique situation.
My mentor was Nikki M. She's literally an angel. She became more than a mentor, but a friend that I truly value. I truly felt like I had her undivided attention, she was so kind, so supportive, and I am so glad to have met her!!
The rest of the team is JUST as amazing and getting the chance to interact with everyone was mind-blowing. Nicki Wildflower is an innovative forward thinker who is like an energizer bunny... she just doesn't stop. I started with this program in its near infancy, and just in these past 9 months she had raised the ceiling, bar none. I cannot wait to see where this program flourishes next!
While I am sad my time has come to an end, I am so grateful for my time with SSC. I wouldn't trade my time with them for the world. I entered this program and worked it during the hardest year of my life and it truly was a lifeline for me. Thank you, SSC!

I went from a double/triple booked commission stylist in a toxic salon taking home around 1k a week- to just one year later.. we opened our 2nd salon, grew a team of 5- nobody double books, they work their dream schedule and make way more money than I did in my old salon seeing only a 1/4 of the people. Not to mention I’ve quadrupled my own income, by doing the right thing and doing good by others. I can say with clear eyes, NONE of this would be happening if I didn’t sign up for SSC. Was it scary? Yup- I only had 2k in the bank… Was it worth it? Abso-freakin-lutely.

I am so glad that I made the leap to join SSC! Not only have a sliced my service times down I have increased my income exponentially while working less! The team and mentors are a wealth of knowledge and having a mentor to hold you accountable is the push that I needed to completely change my life and career If you are on the fence, just do it! You won’t regret it!
