To clarify, Nexamp bills in arrears because we wait for confirmation from your utility that solar energy credits have been successfully applied to your account before generating an invoice. This approach ensures that you're only charged for credits that have already been used to reduce your electricity costs.
By aligning our invoices with the value of credits applied by your utility, we’re able to provide your savings at a guaranteed discounted rate. If you're ever trying to reconcile your Nexamp invoices with your utility bill, we recommend referencing the production periods listed on your Nexamp invoice, which correspond to when the solar energy was generated. We understand that this billing method can feel delayed, and we appreciate your patience. Please know that we work closely with our utility partners to minimize the time between credit application and invoicing as much as possible.

To clarify, Nexamp partners with your utility to apply solar energy credits to your electric bill each month. The value of these credits is determined by your utility, based on their current rates and how they apply the credits to your account. Our role is to provide those credits at a guaranteed discount, and we only bill you after confirming they’ve been applied to your utility account. That said, we’ll reach out to you directly to learn more and determine how we can best assist. Our goal is always to ensure that you are receiving the proper savings that you expect while supporting clean, local solar energy. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

PERCENTAGES ON START UP.
Because I have been using the services of Nexamp before and I just stopped for a short period of time to ask a question about percentage when starting up at 15% are 20% because I am a disabled Army Veteran and was told I was only can receive 15%. Which will be okay after a few months of receiving service from Nexamp.

Once learning of Nexamp it was easy to sign up and immediately realize savings on my electricity costs, but better yet, the knowledge that I am using solar and not fossil fuel generated power has allowed me to claim participation in reducing the carbon footprint of my presence on this planet.

We want to clarify that you are not yet subscribed to an active solar farm with Nexamp. This is the first step for all new customers before receiving solar credits. Because each project has limited capacity and must be located within your utility's service area, there can sometimes be a wait before a spot becomes available. Please rest assured that we are actively working to match you with a project in your area as soon as space opens. Once your subscription is active, our program is designed to help reduce your annual electricity costs by applying solar credits directly to your utility bill.
