We had a fantastic experience with New Wave Events. Alicja was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end - always prompt, approachable, and easy to deal with. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free.

On the day of our dragon boat race, the entire team was professional, competent, and incredibly helpful. They kept everything running seamlessly and were on hand to assist with anything we needed.

Another fantastic Dragon Boat event in Bristol delivered by the team at NewWave! Everything was organised to perfection from start to finish. The day was incredibly well run, the atmosphere and thankfully the weather were spot on, and the whole team made sure everyone enjoyed themselves, which we did!

We used New Wave to organise our company summer sports social, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.
Alicja was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating, ensuring that all of our requirements were met. Communication was excellent throughout, making the organisation of the event completely stress-free.
On the day itself, Lucy did a brilliant job running the event. She kept everything organised, engaging, and fun, and made sure that everyone felt included. The activities were well planned and created a great atmosphere, with everyone having a fantastic time.
We chose to add the photography package and Magdalena was amazing. The pictures came out perfect, and really highlighted how much fun everyone had.
The food was also excellent. The BBQ offered a really good variety of options, with something for everyone, and was enjoyed by all attendees.
Thank you to Alicja, Lucy, and the New Wave team for delivering such a memorable and well-organised event. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to organise a corporate team-building or social event.

What a fantastic day! This was our first time taking part in the Dragon Boat Race organised by New Wave Events, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The whole event was incredibly well organised from start to finish, the staff and volunteers were so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere throughout the day was amazing. We were thrilled to finish in 5th place, especially as first-time competitors!

A huge thank you to everyone at New Wave Events for putting on such a brilliant event. It was a fun, exciting day that also helped raise money for a fantastic cause. We'll definitely be back next year!

We had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend. Everyone really enjoyed the archery — the instructors were fantastic, very engaging, and kept everyone involved. There was a slight delay getting all participants through the activity, but it didn’t take away from the fun.
The catering was also very good and well received by the group. Everything ran smoothly and the feedback from our group was very positive. Thank you for a well-organised event!

Another fantastic experience with New Wave Events!
This is our second year working with New Wave Events to host our charity Dragon Boat Race in aid of Gympanzees. The communication throughout the process has been seamless with Rhian, who is always happy to help and answer any questions we had. On the day of the race the staff were well organised and super friendly and accommodating making a great day out for all involved. Highly reccommend and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2026!

What a brilliant day! NewWave and ACT delivered a flawlessly organized dragon boat race. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Where do I start. We entered the dragon boat race last year in Milton Keynes and come 3rd place and what a brilliant day it was. We entered again this year and it was fantastic and exceed last years. every single one of the staff at new wave events are a credit to the company. The weather was not the best again but that did not dampen (excuse the pun) any ones mood. the safety briefs were on point and made sure we knew what to do in the event of a capsize. I will be totally honest and say this is one event i look forward to the most every year. It brings everyone together for a great cause raising money for charity but also the team work, everyone putting in maximum effort and working in sync gives a massive sense of pride. I am still buzzing 5 days later. SPECIAL shout out goes to Rhian who helped steer us to victory in the final. we will be back again for 2026!!!

We had our first ever company Dragon Boat race with New Wave and they were fantastic. The organisation was so slick, especially on the day we really didn't have to lift a finger and could just enjoy it. Every element was well planned and seamlessly organised. Thank you!

We recently hosted our company's Summer Away Day at Dorney Lake and opted for Dragon Boat Racing through New Wave events. New Wave were very adaptable in accommodating our requirements (for 120 staff!). Both offsite and onsite teams looked after us very well. Onsite team were super friendly, helpful and experienced. I would highly recommend and definitely consider using New Wave's services again.

We have been working with NewWave for many years as they run the race for our UK Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. They are so professional, friendly and very helpful. We are very happy with their good standard of work and will continue to work with them for our future annual event. Our special thanks goes to all the team members particularly to Lucy and Alicja - well done, another successful year! We have no hesitation to recommend NewWave to anyone and any organisation.

New Wave ran us their Enigma Challenge for 50 people at our recent Managers Meeting

Their team running it were excellent, set up and take down was very quick and hassle free and between them they brought real atmosphere to the session.

Everyone had a great time and in fact several colleagues came up to me afterwards and said that prior to the event they were thinking what a waste of time it was going to be, but absolutely loved it....if you can make a crowd feel like that, then you're on to a winner.

Based on this and my experience with Rhian organising the event, we'll be using New Wave again.
