Excellent customer service
I made the mistake of getting a digit wrong in my postcode & my package was delivered to a mystery address.
Samantha offered my a replacement product as a gesture of goodwill which she didn’t have to do as the error was mine.
Such lovely customer service & a great company.

What are my rights? I made a purchase ,or at least I…
I made a purchase ,or at least I thought I did ,from this company! After no contact I followed up to be told that as I was not in their country they could not fulfill my order.....eventhough they had taken my money....furthermoret hey said that they could not offer a refund! There was some excuse given that 'live' produce could not be sent from UK to Ireland,yet this happens on a daily basis in all types of businesses.Why did their online site accept my order when they damn well knew that they could not fulfill it? They further said that I could not do a chargeback on my card.I wonder how much money are they making by doing this ....I cannot be the only customer that ordered product,paid for it and then nothing happens until I followed up and was told what I've just said here?

With nematodes being living organisms it is not our policy to refund where the customer has provided us with an “incorrect, incomplete address details or an address that is outside of the UK”, which is mentioned in section 8.3 of our terms and conditions.
8.3 It is the customer's responsibility to provide us with the correct and full delivery address, we will not be liable for any loss / delivery failure where we have been provided with incorrect, incomplete address details or an address that is outside of the UK.
In addition to this we also mention that “they are only available to the UK mainland via this website” on our delivery policy page.
We only list the United Kingdom on the country listing on our website, but you had tried to get around this by entering an Irish address but selecting that it was in the United Kingdom.
Had you contacted us before placing your order we would have advised you that we do not deliver to Ireland. This is why we do not list Ireland as a country we deliver to in the country selector.

i have used this company about 6-7…
i have used this company about 6-7 times and always had good results but this time round it made NO difference
i have mailed them over the last 2-3 weeks with no reply even though they say
Our support team are available from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday to offer customer support and answer queries.
"We aim to respond to queries within a few hours and often respond within minutes."
and i have called twice and nobody answers

I didn't use them this time around…
I didn't use them this time around because of the weather and my time to be able to use them before the expiration date. I've used these before and they are great. Now that the weather is improving I have now ordered more to replace the ones I didn't use. This was for an ant problem in my grass

Chafer Grubs are a pretty tough pest to control and the best time to apply Chafer Grub Killer Nematodes is late Summer to Autumn, which is when the grubs are at an immature stage.
You can treat Chafer Grubs in spring as the grubs work come higher up in the soil, but the grubs are much more resistant to the nematodes, as they are nearing maturity and treating now you will be reducing the numbers somewhat.
In terms of the animals digging your lawn, this could be to feed on infected grubs (which will be harmless to the birds) or it could be that the species of Chafer Grub you have are more resistant to nematodes.
Hopefully you will see a reduction in the damage caused by animals soon.
To increase the likely hood of success we recommend:
Cut the grass short before treatment.
Soil should be between 12°C and 30°C during application and for at least two weeks after.
Irrigate the area to be treated prior to application in order to apply the nematodes to a moist lawn.
To avoid desiccation of the nematodes:
Avoid direct sunlight; make applications in the evenings or in dull conditions
Application during rain is highly desirable.
It is very important to irrigate immediately after application, water the grass well so the nematodes are washed below the thatch layer into the soil to reach the roots where the larvae will be feeding.
Ensure soil is moist for at least two weeks after application.

I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the results.
The best time of year to tackle these pests is Autumn, but there is a window of opportunity in spring, but this is a less optimal period (see diagrams on our website).
When you have an infestation, it is highly likely that you may need to complete multiple applications (both in spring) and in Autumn.
I appreciate that nematodes are expensive and you may not want to spend more money on nematodes, so there are a few other things you can try.
1) Sweating out Leatherjackets:
a. To effectively sweat out leatherjackets, begin by generously watering the turf in the early evening and covering the area with either a tarpaulin or black plastic sheeting. (Ensure secure placement by weighting it down with pegs, timber, old tires, or bricks.)
b. In the morning, remove the cover to reveal leatherjackets on the turf's surface. Count the number per square meter and record it.
c. These pests can then be gathered by sweeping or mowing and disposed of. In cases of high infestation, a shovel and wheelbarrow may be necessary. Avoid leaving them on the turf for too long as they may burrow back into the rootzone, especially through aeration holes.
d. Consistent nightly coverage should gradually reduce their numbers.
e. Each removed leatherjacket grub represents a potential female crane fly capable of laying 200-300 eggs, leading to future infestations.
f. While it's a cost-effective cultural control method, it demands significant labour.
2) Mowing your lawn frequently (especially when "Crane Flies" are present) in an attempt to suck up as many of the eggs as possible.
3) Support your lawn as much as possible to aid root growth (lawn feed, weed and moss killer).
I see you said you applied as advised, but I must reiterate the importance of the following points - to maximise the success of the product:

Controls critter attacks without poisons
I tried the 'Plant Invigorator' to control a well established attack of some kind of critter on my prized citrus plant - not sure quite what the critter was.
The goods turned up on time and worked from the first application.
I've since found it has been effective against a greenfly attack on tomato plants.

Lawn pecked to bits due to chafer grubs
We had a new lawn laid when we moved into our house. Saw grubs but no idea what they were. Fast forward to April 2023, lawn front and back pecked to bits by birds. Large bare patches. Purchased nematodes April 2023, applied April and October. Gave lawn TLC, scarifier, reseeded bare patches etc. Pleased to report April 2024, lawns recovered, no birds pecking it to bits. Have before and after pictures but no where to upload them. Has worked a treat for us. We were sceptical whether the treatment would work, but so far so good!

My lawn was decaying in areas and it was finding leatherjackets on the surface .when removing dead grass I discovered chafer grubs also. I found these treatments on this website and treated the lawn as directed and I’m glad to say my lawn has fully recovered from last seasons infestation and I’m going to do treatments this year to make sure

Purchased chafer grub nematodes with an applicator.
Applicator turned out to be a Miracle grow hose end feeder which I could have purchased elsewhere for £10 less. This should be shown in the picture and described as such on their site!

The 'Miracle-Gro Hose End Feeder' has been tested and approved for applying the Nematodes listed below by Nematodes Direct and can also be used for applying liquid feed to plants and lawns.
It simply attaches via standard hose-pipe connector (not included) and features both a rose head and jet spray as well as an on / off switch for water flow.
With these sundry items we can not compete with stockists like Amazon and there prices fluctuate daily, so whilst they might be £14.99 today, they might be £25.99 tomorrow. We are charged a flat rate, but be assured we have not put a £10.00 increase on ourselves.

Ordered Nematodes for Sciarid flies
Ordered Nematodes for Sciarid flies. Small black flies feeding on roots of plants. I had chillies growing since the end of December. Once I spotted the flies and I decided to buy nematodes to save my chillies. I ordered from this company and paid around £13, it didn’t arrive for a week, so I contacted them via email; they say it was posted and I should wait a little longer. The sun’s been shining and the weather was mild for February. About 10 days later it arrived with one week left for it to expire and it’s been sitting somewhere in a Royal Mail office
There was about half a tea spoonful of nematodes in the package. Instructions said my package is enough for 45square meters. I used it on my plants, but it didn’t bother the flies, I don’t have many chillies standing and lost m money, I am not a happy customer.
