I would recommend Kate and her crew at Nationwide Cleaners. They did a decent job cleaning our home. They are detailed and flexible.

Katie has been our cleaner for a year now and she is great. Always cheerful and she gets the work done most efficiently. It is a real pleasure to recommend her.

To start I need to say that I am not someone who formally complains easily, and I definitely do not write negative reviews, but unfortunately the service from Nationwide Cleaners’ Cheshire franchise has been so poor I have felt compelled to do.

I have been a customer for 4 weeks and in that time have had 3 cleaners. The first cleaner was a nice enough (in fact they were all nice) but she turned out to be unreliable (the first week she forgot she had a funeral (but did come the following day), the second week she left early because she was feeling poorly and the third week she sent a text on the day of the clean to say she would not be coming because she had found a full time position. The franchise owner (I will come back to him) arranged for someone else to come that day, who then called to say she had gone to the wrong address (i.e. the wrong town) and couldn't make it. The last person did turn up on time and did her full slot, so that was an improvement, however there was a problem with the kitchen tap after she left (it was wobbly and loose where it wasn't before she arrived). I notified the owner about the tap and simply asked that he arrange for it to be resealed, but despite the rubbish experience I had had to date, the video evidence sent and that I had paid the cleaner for her work (I didn't see the tap until after she left and had paid her cash, but why would I do that if I was going to scam them!) rather than just sorting it , he chose to challenge me about my honesty or understanding of what or how it had happened. Why would I lie about it? I could buy sealant for less than £5 at the shop! It was genuinely like being gas lighted.

I had not complained about the first cleaners original attendance issues but he did know about it as I'd told him following her last minute cancellation as that was just v poor form.
The cleans on all occasions were average (cleaning product still on sink, mirrors not polished, toilet still dirty on one occasion) and I didn't complain about those either, as I work on the basis things could improve as you get to know each other, and frankly I don't have time to complain, but I don't expect to be told I am lying when I have given them absolutely no reason to think that I would do that.

The customer service from the franchisee was very poor. They were in touch to arrange connections (and take his cut) but he has not once followed up after a meet or a clean to see how it went, including on the last replacement when you would have thought he was interested to know it had gone well. And then as mentioned he has now refused to resolve the issue that has arisen and left me with no choice but to write this review.

From what I can tell this is not a professional cleaning service. In my experience the cleaners are not experienced/trained cleaners, and there is no 'Nationwide' standards. I do not blame the cleaners, I genuinely think the last cleaner was trying to do a really good job, she just hasn't been trained and unfortunately the franchisee has made this into a far bigger issue than it needed to be had he just fixed the problem.

An absolute rip off since the money you are paying to Nationwide does not give you anything more than in introduction. Worse still a huge waste of my time. Steer clear folks.

Nationwide sent me someone to do my cleaning and ironing. Jasmine was quite good but I was hoping she could do a bit more in the 2 hours. I hope she will speed up for my future cleans as if not, I will ask the company for a faster cleaner.

I have tried several cleaning companies over the years plus private cleaners. Nationwide Cleaners are the best. They are so professional, friendly and efficient. I couldn't be happier.

The lovely lady who came to do the cleaning, was both professional and conscientious. She worked very hard for the full three hours ensuring all the cleaning required was completed to a very high standard. She is an absolute credit to Nationwide Cleaners and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends.

Sam came and did a one-off big clean for us today in South Manchester, what a fantastic job she did and it was a big challenge we set her!! We are delighted! Thank you so much x

We needed our home deep cleaned prior to being listed for sale. We were very pleased with the result. There's nothing like elbow grease when you really need to clean a place! The cleaning lady worked hard for many hours and left our home looking spotless.

I have had a wonderful experience with my
cleaner. She not only takes care of my cleaning and ironing, but also gets on very well with my dogs. I specifically asked the agency for a cleaner that likes dogs. Janet, my cleaner, has dogs of her own. In
addition to this, she is reliable, friendly and efficient. Her attention to details exceeded my expectations. Such a fantastic service! Highly recommended!!

Excellent Service
The cleaning lady was always on time and on the date agreed. If I have to change the day/time for a personal reason they always try to accommodate in the best way. Cleaning always to an excellent standard.

Hard working trustworthy pleasant knows what needs doing without being told but when necessary will always ask. Cannot speak to highly of them. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Very reliable service, I was very behind on cleaning my house. Fevi was professional whom did great service understanding my needs and her staff did a great job. Will continue using her and definitely recommend to others.

We used Nationwide Cleaners (Stockport ), absolutely rubbish. Was allocated cleaners who arrived late on first clean and continued to be late for the month they lasted! Then I was allocated another cleaner who arrived a couple of times and then blobbed on subsequent 4 cleans! The replacement service doesn’t work. They said they were too short staffed! On one occasion I got a replacement but the clean was rubbish.i supplied a pile of cleaning clothes and dusters and she used all of my kitchen roll instead! How on earth can you clean with a handful of sopping wet kitchen roll. I ask you! Just pathetic. UNRELIABLE AND RUBBISH SERVICE?
I have been asked to verify my review. If you only accept positive reviews then it’s not worth a thing. Our experience was very poor. You can’t justify four absentees on the run! And yes a stand in cleaner did use my kitchen roll to clean with, when there was plenty of new and clean clothes to use. I have now employed a new cleaner who commented on the amount of cobwebs as the previous cleaning company didn’t even look at the cornices. So yes I can verify it was Nationwide ( Stockport) and Patricia was the manager.

I am not entering a tit for tat with you. The service was appalling and we were incredibly patient. The fact is... we were customers who didn’t get a service that you had agreed to supply. And the service that was given was substandard. I am blocking further correspondence as it has already taken too much of our time. We are customers that were given a bad deal.
