My appointment was for 08:30 at York on…
My appointment was for 08:30 at York on Friday 19/09/2025.
I called on Thursday the day before the appointment to check all was okay, to which I was told yes the window screen was at the Workshop ready.
On arriving 08:30 on Friday morning after driving 40 miles I got a phone call at 8:30 to tell me that it could not be done.
The Workshop was closed and no one there. At 9:15 someone arrived all the way from Scunthorpe who told me that the windscreen was not at York and was at Scunthorpe which they shipped to York so I had to wait two hours for the windscreen to turn up. The windscreen fitters from Scunthorpe were excellent kept me informed on the progress of the windscreen arriving but I must say the staff at York are absolutely awful with the way they handled the phone call to me.

I did not having to pay before the job…
I did not having to pay before the job was done. I did pay up front and then when I had the windscreen fitted I was asked to pay again. I must say that I am satisfied with the fitting of the new windscreen and I found that Kim Lawrence was very pleasant and helpfull, but the rest of the company was nothing but hassel

Very good service from the staff
Very good service from the staff. We were also given a free pass for the local air museum nearby which was an enjoyable way to pass the time whilst the windscreen was being replaced.
