Quick, friendly, reliable
It was quickly and easy to check the car in and within a few hours our screen was fixed. Everyone was friendly and gave realistic timings for how long it would take.

Had a windscreen replacement
Had a windscreen replacement
Have to leave it so long before you can wash it
Then on closer inspection noticed a panel on the left was loose and not fitted snuggly back to the car
Couldn’t get anything booked in over the bank holiday then was booked in for a few hours time which obviously isn’t appropriate
Now I will have to send my car for its MOT and service with that, if it fails for any reason regarding that I’ll be fuming
Still not booked in to be fixed
Plus instead of someone coming out I have to drive 40 minutes back to the warehouse

A great company
A great company – would highly recommend
I have to admit I hadn't heard of National Windscreens before, having only ever used Autoglass in the past. However, National Windscreens were the preferred windscreen replacement company for my insurance company when my windscreen needed replacing. Their reviews were pretty good, so I wasn't too worried but because I hadn't heard of them I was initially a little nervous, as I have an almost brand-new, very high-tech car. In fact, so new and specific that at one point I was facing a potential two-month wait, as there was no UK stock of the required windscreen.
The text messages and email updates throughout the process were excellent. There was a slight communication delay along the way when trying to source the windscreen due to a management change at my local branch, but overall I really can't recommend National Windscreens highly enough.
Most importantly, the actual work was excellent. The technicians are clearly highly competent and professional, and the replacement was carried out to a very high standard. It took a little over four hours because of the technology and the required calibration, but that didn't bother me at all. I was far more concerned that everything was done properly which it was, and handled very professionally.
I would definitely use National Windscreens again – although hopefully it won't be necessary!

It took the 4 hours as advised in fact 4 hours 20 minutes. It was exceptionally hot weather, the waiting room was like a furnace and no water available for customers. I had to stay on site because my husband can’t drive medically for one year, I didn’t want to pay extensively for a taxi home and return so the experience was almost unbearable.
Water would have been a plus point!
Staff were extremely polite and probably as helpful as they could be given their own time restraints.
