Same day delivery!
I was looking for someone to get me some Kingspan Kooltherm K106 by the next day, after another online supplier let me down.
N.I.S. were fantastic and did everything they said they would. After calling me back, they sorted out a quote for me and said they could actually arrange a delivery by courier same-day. Amazingly the insulation and delivery by courier, came out as less than the supplier who let me down.

Fly-tipped on my property, then lied about collecting it
Placed an order of some plasterboard to be delivered next-day, and was charged £95 for the privilege. I was willing to pay this due to urgency, but when the delivery arrived, I was told that I had to take the pallet that the items came on. I declined, as this was a 6ft pallet and I do not have a front garden, nor anywhere to store this within my flat. Despite this, the delivery driver simply fly-tipped this in front of my house. I contacted the company and they apologised and said this was something they would rectify ASAP. Nothing was done until I again called a week later, where they told me they'd decided it wasn't their problem. After I said then I would have to report them for fly tipping, they said they would again look into it. Many calls later, they eventually said they would collect this as a "goodwill gesture", despite being adamant it wasn't their responsibility to do this, and I have the pleasure of this being explained to me in one of the most patronising tones I've ever been spoken to. This was, incorrect, as I'd found out through speaking to citizens advice about the matter. They then did nothing, and it was clear the words were just to placate me. Ironically, all I asked was for them to reimburse the £30 large item collection fee the council was charging.
Edit to the response, because I'm not content with a company just lying publicly.
"You were delighted with the service."
I at no time said I was delighted by the service. In fact, on the phone they said as I was in London "delivery wouldn't be much", and only actually provided my the price the next day (1/4 of the order price) at which point it would have been too late to get another service. Upon delivery I also called immediately to complain about the pallet, so I'm not sure where you'd get someone being delighted by the service from.
"Our terms and conditions mention these are non-returnable"
This is the ENTIRE crux of our disagreement that this is NOT in your terms and conditions, and then you tried to claim that because it wasn't mentioned you could do what you like.
"Once we received your call we asked our supplier to do us/you a favour"
No, you didn't. You said you'd look into it, then did nothing, then after multiple days of calling, you told me it wasn't your problem and to "sell it on marketplace or something". Only after me clearly stating my rights as a consumer, did you them decide to do anything.
"Collect the pallet when they were next in your area"
I waited a month with no email, no call, and no assurance it would ever actually happen. Telling someone a half-baked promise that you'd deal with it at some point is the same as doing nothing.
Id also like to clarify, initially I'd written a 3-star review, but I came on and changed it after the heavily patronising and aggressive messages I received from the head of your company.

It’s a shame you felt the need to write a 1 star review on what we believed was perfect service. As you pointed out we do offer an express delivery service, you phoned for some plasterboard to be delivered the following day and we gave you a price for this on an external courier, you were delighted with the service and happy with the price so placed the order and as promised we delivered on the day expected. Part of the packaging to keep the product in perfect condition is a pallet and our terms and conditions mention that these are non returnable, despite this, once we received your call we asked our supplier to do us/you a favour and collect the pallet when they were next in your area and to make sure you the customer was happy. Unfortunately, before our supplier was in the area again you got this collected by the council. We feel our representative on this order did follow the procedures we have and we would invite you to use a different company in the future.

Edit: We stand by the correct information above, and we are sorry to hear you weren’t delighted with the next day service provided. If the price was too expensive, we could have kept your order on the standard lead time offered on the website, which is cheaper. By going ahead with the express delivery, we didn't think that you thought this was too much. We did everything stated above as promised to you at the time and feel that we offered a good/very good service.

Absolutely amazing customer service I accidentally added the incorrect postcode for the delivery and this was for a next day order. The gentleman at national insulation services rectified immediately with no extra charge. Will defiantly recommend and use again.
