Right now, my experience is good.
I have recently been going through the house-buyer system with NACA to see if my family and I will be able to go through it and find a house. I have had trouble getting a mortage and NACA has been my last hope. So far it's going good, my counselor is a really good and understanding person, and I can't wait to see where my journey takes me.

My journey with NACA has been a challenge since I've never been a homeowner. But my counselor, Dwayne Jordan, has helped me ever step. I'd recommend anyone who is seeking help in their home buying process to reach out to the NACA Organization.

I begin this process in 2024 and I am very close to achieving one of my life dreams in purchasing the home. I truly believe that the NACA program looks out for the working-class citizen. I would recommend that everyone goes through NACA to buy a home to keep from being misled and cared for throughout the homebuyer process.

Ellen Peterson is truly exceptional at NACA. Her customer service is unmatched — she’s patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping members succeed. Every interaction with her feels supportive and empowering. She explains things clearly, answers every question with confidence, and makes the entire process feel easier. Because of her expertise and the way she shows up for members, I feel even more confident moving forward.

My Honest Review of NACA
I want to share my honest experience with NACA. The process with NACA is definitely very documentation-heavy. You have to be patient and prepared to submit a lot of paperwork. It can feel overwhelming at times, and the process may take longer than expected if everything is not submitted correctly.
One thing I learned through this experience is that the NACA counselor assigned to you makes a huge difference. At first, I was assigned a counselor who unfortunately was not very encouraging or helpful. Because of that, the process felt much longer and more stressful than it needed to be.
Recently, I was reassigned to a different NACA counselor, and the experience has been completely different. He has been phenomenal. He responds to emails, explains everything clearly, and walks me through every step of the process. I can see the urgency he has in helping me get approved, and that support has made a huge difference.
From my experience, the process itself is demanding, but having the right counselor makes all the difference. I finally feel some relief now that I have someone who is truly helping guide me through this journey.
Once I have the keys to my home in my hands, I will definitely be giving my counselor a well-deserved shout-out.

NACA has been very helpful with purchasing our very first home. Our counselor Dwayne Jordan has been amazing making sure that we have all the correct documents and has answered every question we have.

I had my first meeting with my NACA counselor R.S. and the process is a bit tedious but rewarding. I came in to the meeting with wavering emotions that I might not be a good candidate for this program to then end the meeting validated and empowered. I am excited to see where this process takes me and trust that my counselor will work alongside me.

All the staff of naca as been with me since day one . Educating and helping me though the course of my journey to home ownership. This is a very good program that help with the opportunity of owning a home a non-traditional way no credit judgments, no down payment or closing. NACA is a decent program to help make it easy to buy a home. They assign counselors and tools and a database to keep everything organized and sufficient. It can be mentally exhausting sometimes, but if you have your paperwork together you can breeze through it.

NACA is a great tool to use for first time homebuyers. I am in the process of buying my first home and NACA is guiding me through what it takes to be financially prepared for a home. Even if I don't get the mortgage through NACA, I am grateful for the knowledge it has given me thus far

I have been working with the best counselor in my situation. Mrs Ellen Petersen, walks you through the process in a manner you can follow and understand. My family and I are currently at the Action Plan status. I genuinely can feel our forever home in our grasp thanks to her time, patience and advice.
