I make the money that is put on that card

I make the money that is put on that card for Wisely to decline a purchase on some perfume I want on line. Why does a entity get to decide where I can spend MY MONEY I MADE! It is only put on there cause my employers use it as a form of tip card for our credit card tips we receive!!! I wish I could put my tips straight on my truist or cash app card to be honest and forget wisely they are useless!!!!

My experience with this financial institution has been positive overall. The staff demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to support customers with their financial needs. I appreciate the secure systems in place and the range of services offered, which give me confidence in handling my transactions.

That said, there is room for improvement. A few areas—such as reducing waiting times, enhancing digital banking features, and providing quicker customer support responses—could significantly elevate the overall client experience. I have to use the wrong zip code or my card won't work.

I am paid by my employer through Wisely. I work for a temp company. The temp company has more than one office and about 6 or 7 years ago I received work through one office and didn't really have any issues with using my card. Fast forward to last year and the second office I worked at but through the same company issued me a new card. I had to update my personal information because I had moved which I thought was no big deal. The first week after I got paid my card didn't work. I then called customer service and they told me the reason my transactions were being declined is because I have the wrong zip code on my personal information. I double checked and the zip code was correct. I had to change my zip code on my personal information to my previous zip code to get it to work which I found odd. I get paid at 5:00 AM on Fridays so at 5:01 I'm on my phone transferring my funds to my regular checking account to avoid any problems. They charge a $2 fee and the funds don't show up in my checking account until Monday but that's a small inconvenience to avoid leaving money on my card just to have something go wrong with my account.

I am no longer going to deal with the imbeciles from India that the GREEDY ADP Co insist on employing to serve NO CUSTOMER...EVER... ONLY irritate frustrate and anger it's customers who unfortunately have the wisely hoodrat card!! I've been cheated out of hundreds and hundreds of dollars due to the choice of ADP employing these idiots!!! MOST RECENTLY it cost me 2 ENTIRE days of work... Resulting in a loss of 2 DAYS OF PAY
FOR MYSELF... AFTER WASTING LITERALLY HOURS AND HOURS OF MY TIME TO SPEAK TO INFANTILE IDIOTS THEY(ALL 10 CSR'S) DID NOTHING BUT NEGATIVELY AFFECT MY LIFE NEGATIVELY WHILE BEING PAID BY ADP... THERE'S ALL KINDS OF EVIDENCE BACKING MY CLAIM THAT I WAS PURPOSELY TAUNTED, AND HECKLED AS I WAS SO UPSET FROM THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES HOURS OF ABUSE I ALMOST STARTED CRYING, AND I WANTED TO WHOOP SOMEBODY'S ARSE DURING THE MANY HOURS I DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND ON THE PHONE WITH 10 REPRESENTATIVES THAT DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME..BUT FINANCIALLY RUINED FOR MORE OF MY LIFE!! Customer service is a joke

Customer service is a joke, they all just repeat steps to take never actually listening to you. I've been told lies and manipulated, hung up on, and told bogus information. I haven't been able to get any of my funds out and have been evicted and currently homeless in my car with no way to get my cash out. This started with an unknown transaction back on July 26.

If I could give it 0 stars I would!!! Do NOT use them !!! Literally locked my card after I asked for a manager ! All because they kept locking my card when trying to pay my electric bill. Customer service literally SIGHED and hung up on me multiple times when all I wanted to do was pay my bills and now I can’t access my card or money at all when I just got paid a whole check. Literally embarrassing how rude disrespectful and horrible they are.

What a joke!

First and foremost, the service was bewildering and dreadful.

It took me a few tries to figure out how to submit what I needed so someone could help me with my issue. It doesn't give you proper rules, nor explain what you have to do.

Second of all, when I did meet someone to help me, they never mentioned their name (which if they did, I would have completed the survey and mentioned how bad it was). Her voice was very low, and I increased my volume but still could not hear her well. I said, "sorry, I couldn't hear you, I think it is on my side," since it happened to me with another customer support from another bank. She said it might be from the server.

I then told her what I needed help with, and you would think she would be helpful, you know? No.

I asked her why the card did not allow me to purchase on Amazon and how to change my email and number because I received a new number and my old number had my email. She sent me something to submit, and I followed through, but it's been 2-3 weeks and nothing, no notification, nothing—and my account still has the same number and email. very infuriating. She also ignored the information I told her about how I put my money into my savings after it didn't go through with Amazon since that is what I have been doing ever since I have been receiving weird transactions and it hasn't been going through. She blamed me for the issue 💀.

She then proceeds to ignore what I said and tells me that I need to remove it from being locked and not have it in my savings. Like, oh, ok?? What did I JUST tell you?

She also was not very helpful with what I asked in the end about the verification that I need to change everything, because mind you, English is not my first language, but I am still well in it. It got to the point where she blatantly ignored me and kept talking over me.. so many times that I just sighed and tried to change the topic, saying, It's okay, I will figure it out. And when I did say that, she talked over me again and then hung up on me.

Embarrassing for this woman, I wished I knew her name and did the survey. Because what was that? The worst thing was she told me that I should have my parents run my account.

I'm 22. I am not a child.

Update: since (4 months) then, they have locked my account, won't solve the bloody issue, keep postponing me, and there is so much money in my account. Trust me, don't get it.

I guess wisely is the ghetto version of ADP!! These people are obviously in another country none of them seem to be in touch with reality when it comes to customer service they don't even know anything about you or your account even after repeated multiple times!! I have $100 floating around that should have been deposited in my account yesterday I even got multiple notifications stating it was... THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY TO BE PLAYING WITH, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S NEEDED... AND THE DEPOSITOR SENT IT DIRECTLY TO THE DEBIT CARD I HAD BUT IT WAS DENIED TWICE AND I WAS FORCED TO GET A NEW CARD... THEY JUST MADE A NIGHTMARE OF EVERYTHING THAT CORRECT ANYTHING

had an unauthorized Uber charge of $527.77 on my Wisely account. After contacting Uber, they confirmed the hold was released—but Wisely still insisted I wait up to two weeks. It has been longer, and I still have no resolution. The moment this issue gets resolved I will be closing my account. I encourage people that’s what Wisely to do the same.

Their customer service has been unhelpful, offering no real updates or support. I no longer feel that my money is safe with this company. The lack of transparency and urgency is unacceptable. Wisely has a long way to go in terms of reliability and customer care.

I do not recommend signing up with them.

This company is operating with individuals who barely speak English and will give you attitude if you can't understand them.....reason for this review is the fact my card was hacked I received my deposit once card was deactivated I stated I need to access the funds immediately to feed my children only thing come out of me try to get it done through this company was a rude gesture to wait on it and that there's nothing they can do so I strongly advise to bank with someone else wisely will not help you and I will be taking this issue public so maybe they can do better or just sweep it under the rug...

I’m a barber and I use it as a tip card and I haven’t had access to my funds for two months cause they randomly blocked my account and had issues with my documents and now seeing all the reviews I see why wisely is terrible at all cost plz just get your money transferred to your bank not some crap card

I was also a victim of scam. Someone had been trying to access my money from Walmart's in different states and cities. I thought it was weird when I kept getting declined while trying to use the card. I finally got annoyed and called, after many failed attempts with answers and they said someone turned my text alert off. They were able to use it at a store but at Walmart it was declined, maybe because they were taking so much. Someone at my job was having the same issues.SMMFH... same place too WALMART. I began to think it's the company and still do.

They continue to lock my card without…

They continue to lock my card without notice and have even gone as far as cancelling my card without speaking to me. When I called and asked, their response was they suspected fraud, so they made the decision to cancel it and then wanted to charge me 35.00 for a new card. total scam!

I’ve been using Wisely with Amazon…

I’ve been using Wisely with Amazon Anytime Pay for over four years without issue. As a prepaid cardholder, I’ve never needed to authorize transactions manually. Recently, after rejoining Amazon, I forgot my Wisely account password and exceeded the number of login attempts. A verification code was then sent to an outdated phone number I no longer have access to.

I contacted Wisely to report the issue and update my phone number. The representative told me it could be resolved by submitting my credentials (photo ID and Social Security number), which I did. I was told it would take 1–2 business days. After a full week with no resolution, I called again and was told to repeat the process. I complied a second time.

A day later, I was unable to withdraw funds from the ATM—my only access point since the app remained inaccessible and my account was still locked. I called support again, and the representative ignored the history I shared. He suggested I receive a code at the old number or via the app—despite my repeated explanations that neither method was possible.

This representative insisted my account wasn’t locked and tried to argue that it might be a system error, dismissing the clear facts. After three calls, I became understandably frustrated and asked to speak with a supervisor. I had to firmly insist, as the representative tried to deter me by speaking over me repeatedly.

When I finally reached a supervisor, things deteriorated further. She contradicted the representative by confirming my account was locked. Despite explaining my situation repeatedly, she claimed Wisely had only received my ID—not my SSN—even though their upload system doesn’t allow one without the other.

Eventually, she mentioned a “new policy” requiring verification for certain transactions—yet I’d received no emails, notifications, or communication about this. When my mother asked to speak on my behalf due to the increasing frustration, the supervisor dodged all her questions and then claimed she wasn’t obligated to provide her representative number, which is both unprofessional and misleading.

I’m sharing this experience to highlight a serious breakdown in customer service and a lack of accountability. If anyone has legal expertise or advice on how to pursue action or escalate this further, please reach out. Complaints are being ignored, and it seems legal pressure may be the only way to drive change.

I signed up to have my paycheck direct deposited onto a wisely card because the ad promised I would have immediate access to my funds via digital wallet. Once deposited, I found no option to add the virtual card to my wallet. Customer support told me to uninstall and reinstall, wait two hours which I have done at least ten times now on my android. I even tried on an iPhone as well. Also tried to login on the website. The option to use a digital wallet doesn't exist. the reps said I could transfer to another card which also didn't work. Then they promised to expedite the physical card to me to arrive in three days. I followed up and was told it will be seven days. I feel powerless....I can't do anything about all of this misleading information, can't pay my bills, cannot purchase groceries ....it's not right! How can a company conduct business this way and get away with it? This card is no benefit to anyone.
