On December 7th 2025, my girlfriend and I ordered a custom plush from them. On New Year's Eve, they then sent me an email detailing how they sent a OneDrive file with images showing what colored fabric they would use for specific parts of the image I provided for them to make into a plush. In the same email, they stated that I needed to give them permission in order for them to continue and start producing the order. Since there is no way to add a comment in the OneDrive file, I replied to the email they sent and gave them permission. On their website, they have a customer service message, so I even sent them a message there. I did this two separate times: One on the same day I received the email, and then another at a later time - sometime in early 2026. On January 9th, I then decided to send them a separate email giving them permission to proceed with the order, because when I looked at the status of my order it was still saying the order was only received despite me giving permission to proceed with the order multiple times. Plus the estimated delivery date on the site was January 19th, which was only ten days away. So, it was clear they somehow did not receive any of my multiple messages to them via customer service chats and email. After this, I decided to wait, because I thought that maybe they received my messages and were just working on my order. Plus it was only ten days away from supposedly being delivered. However, it eventually became January 19th, and no order arrived. So on January 20th, with the ETA still being listed as January 19th on the website’s tracker, I gave their customer service number a call some time in the afternoon. The person on the other end was a male. I asked if it were the customer service number for My Plush Buddy, to which the guy confirmed. I then and verbally gave him approval for the color mapping on my order since I never got any confirmation that they received my approval, despite the multiple messages and emails I sent doing so. The guy on the phone told me that it was in fact approved and that he was going to send a preview of the plush since it was “in his bag”. He then told me that I would get a preview of the plush the next day at the same time. I never received and update from him. So a few days later, I tried calling them again on January 26th. No one picked up and I was met with a voicemail. So a few days later on January 28th, I tried again. I was once again met with a voicemail. On the same day, I then went to their Instagram and DM’d them. Two days later, on January 30th, they responded to me and told me they would back with the latest update, and that they will pace it to be completed in the next two or three days. Six days later on February 5th, I still did not receive the self described “latest update” from them, so I went to Instagram to message them again. Sometime after I sent that, they opened my message and didn't respond. Five days later on February 11th, I looked in my Direct Messages to see if they saw my message or anything, to which I then saw that they have in fact opened my message without responding. I then texted them again and called them out for just opening my message without replying, and stated that if they can’t complete my order then I just wanted a refund since it was almost a month since my order was supposed to arrive. That was the last message sent, but they didn’t open that one, and they still haven’t provided any sort of communication or updates. To this day, on their site it still says that the order has only been processed, and that the ETA is January 19th, despite that being almost three months ago. My girlfriend and I eventually got a refund. But we only got it because we filed a complaint to her bank and provided them with evidence relating to the claims in this review - not because the company decided to be competent and actually do their job. Do not buy from this company. They are incompetent, and basically scammers with a verified Instagram account. This is the only review I have ever left for a company due to how much this pissed me off, and I do not want them getting away with this sort of behavior.

Prospective buyers beware: Their communication is non-existent once they have your money. Unless they can provide a guaranteed delivery date and a partial refund for this significant delay, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
I placed my order on December 28th with a promised delivery date of February 2nd. We are now well past that deadline, and the level of service has been abysmal.
​Despite an initial email on January 6th regarding color mapping—which I responded to immediately—the company completely ghosted me for over a month. My multiple follow-up emails went ignored, and their "Order Tracker" has been stuck on "Processed" since the day I paid, providing zero real-time updates.
​Only after I began applying pressure did I receive a generic, one-sentence email claiming the item is "in production," with no explanation for the delay and no updated shipping timeline. This is not how you treat customers, especially for a "custom" service that relies on collaboration.

UPDATE: March 16, 2026 — Empty Promises and Continued Ghosting
It has been 78 days since I placed my order on December 28th: ​ 42 days (6 weeks) past my original promised delivery date of February 2nd.
​It has been 17 days since Vikram promised a 25% refund and then went silent.

​Following my initial review, a representative named Vikram reached out on February 27th. He acknowledged the "significant delays" and explicitly offered a 25% partial refund to address my concerns, asking for my PayPal ID to process it.
​I provided the information immediately. Since then: Radio silence.
​Zero Refund: Despite the written promise, no funds have been sent.
​Zero Product: My order is now over six weeks past the original deadline with no shipping update.
​Deceptive Tactics: It is now clear that the refund offer was a disingenuous attempt to placate me rather than a legitimate resolution.
​This company is not just experiencing "delays"; they are actively making financial commitments they do not fulfill. My recommendation stands: Stay away.

Do not buy from this company, it is a scam. I bought on 12/24/25 and I have been trying to contact them for a month, but without success.
you are supposed to receive the product in 10 days but according to the link you have not EVEN started making it, and you are supposed to notify me of technical details which never happened !!

Second time ordering from these guys - and I can confirm that the plush is worth the money.. if not more. I’d initially seen you guys through friends who had also bought their own oc based plushies and decided to give it a go, and MAN. The turnaround time for the speedy-plush making is also really good, the delivery was on point considering the tight schedule I was on for Christmas lol. Currently awaiting my third plush and cannot wait to order more in the future!

i bought a plush in early november
even with multiple contact that i made by email the contact sytem from the website and other i didn't got any awnsers and on the site it is still in order procceced only and it would be a shame of having no type of order follow for a 129$ plush

Stole my money and never made a single doll. I was in direct email contact and made an order for 100-200 dolls. The up-front cost was $125 for a sample doll, which I paid on Oct 9. It is now December and I have seen no proof that a doll was ever worked on and Vikram has stopped returning my emails. The only consolation is that they only scammed me for the sample cost and I never paid for a full order.

Update Jan 16, 2026: I was contacted by email around Xmas and was asked if I could wait to the new year for them to finally start on my order. I said I would rather have a refund instead. They have yet to refund any money.

I am not asking for any special treatment, but my kiddo is autistic and hyper-focused on this one character, the only thing that is talked about right now. It was important.

On the website, you are told you will be involved in the decision making process regarding fabric etc, but that's not the case.
No tracking, no nothing.
I was not sent anything, only promises of delivery when I reached out.

The plush did not arrive, so I had to rush around a day before the birthday and look for another present, which also incurred additional costs.

They also ignored my email when I reached out and said that the plush did not arrive, and I asked for a refund.

The plush did arrive days later, but it doesn't look finished. It seems like the production was forgotten and rushed at the end because there is a part where there is no filling, and the material just flops and is out of proportion. The colours are not great either.

Mind you, if they told me they cannot do it, I would go elsewhere.

Nice experience

I initially had my doubts when ordering from this company. They offer a custom plush from just a few pictures and it seemed too good to be true. However, I took the plunge and ordered my plushie, paid my money and sent them the pictures and I can confirm that this is a 100% legitimate company and moreover, a good quality one too!

There were a few communication issues to begin with, but once communication was established it was very easy to pick the colours I wanted and have any issues sorted quickly. I'd suggest if you think emails aren't getting though contacting them through Facebook messenger, although I'd give them a few days to respond to emails first, especially over the weekend.

After I made the order and they'd reviewed the pictures I'd sent, I was asked to confirm the colours that would be used to bring my plush to life and after I made the slight changes to the colours they'd initially picked out, they got to work on creating my plush. Due to an error on my part in forgetting to add a picture of the hair and ears of my plush character, my finished plush lacked this part of the design. My Plush Buddy were happy to send the plush back to the factory at the last minute however to fix my plush and get it perfect. They did this at NO EXTRA COST too!

Once my plush was finished, it was delivered in a matter of days, all the way from India to the UK. Amazingly quick.

As for the quality of the plush, this exceeded all of my expectations and I doubt any other company could have gotten the job done to a higher standard of finish. They really brought a picture of a character to life as a plush!

The service with myplushbuddy was usually good, but now on their responsive to my Facebook messenger and WhatsApp support with the company. First of all, their support promises to take response 24/7. But, I waited three business days for their response and still no reply at all. I don’t know what happened to them already. I was trying to communicate with them about my email change cos my older one was hacked. Few weeks before that, the last time I could have responses from them, they told me they had lots of holidays. But since I know their company is in India, from the footer of the website. They only have three major holidays upcoming as of September 12 and this day is not any of the 3 holidays. Also I was telling them about the tracking page of my order went wrong. The tracking info showed blank, maybe a technical issue with the server. I showed them the picture, and still no response.
Update on September 15:
My fellows working on MyPlushBuddy finally responded to my FB Messenger and WhatsApp. They are my great eternal picture-to-doll making service since May 2023. They also told me the reason that their workers faced personal issues, the reason that they delayed their responses. Since they are working hard, please wish those old workers to get well.

We wanted a unique toy that had been produced in a small lot and had sold out. We sent photos of the real toy, along with detailed drawings and plans, in May 2024. In one of the first steps, My Plush Buddy (MPB) asked us to confirm the colors to be used in the toy, and if we did not agree, we were given a chance to propose another color. Near the end of production, MPB invited us to do the QC and take a look at the almost-final product in July 2024. My daughter was obsessed with this toy and wanted it to look exactly like what she had seen in photos and how she saw it in her head. She was initially disappointed by the nearly final product because the colors were off, the mouth of the toy did not look like the photos she sent, and the toy was chubby looking, rather than taller and longer, etc. She gave her (probably) extremely critical feedback, and thereafter, we did not hear back from MPB. My assumption is that they were offended by her criticisms and would not re-do it; I wasn’t sure if they would refund us either. After a few emails and a few weeks, we heard back from the company to inform us that they had taken her feedback and re-made the whole plush, and would express mail the final product in August 2024. The final product was PRETTY GREAT and my daughter is extremely pleased!! We appreciate that MPB cared about our satisfaction and were willing to make it as we specified. Thanks, My Plush Buddy!!!
