What a great Christmas present.
Never worked with willow before and was a good experience.
Need to make sure you read the instructions and look at the videos,it's not to be rushed, wasn't sure if I socked the willow and let it rest enough, found the willow splits , but plenty of spares.
Have enough willow to make another star , hopefully with better results, we learn from our mistakes.

I bought the shopping basket and got the tension tray as an added bonus!

I did the tension tray before Christmas and I’m about half way through my shopping basket.

I’ve done lots of different craft learning but this has to be the best. The videos are completely clear and being able to watch how to do the hand movements is brilliant and watch them over and over.

I also had an issue (I’d not made my bottom arched enough - first attempt problem) and they were so quick to reply with tips which was amazing.

Would recommend to anyone I am totally addicted!!

Just brilliant. I have been wanting to have a go at creating something out of willow for years, but always seemed daunting, and had no idea where to begin. I am so pleased I took the plunge, and ordered the bird feeder. The tuition is absolutely superb. I am a complete beginner. It was thorough, well explained, in a calm and steady pace to keep up with ( you can also pause, rewind etc). Will definitely be ordering another course and hone my new skill

This was one of the best Christmas present my husband ever got me. Kit arrived quickly and had everything I needed with extra willow just in case you need it.
I did have a technical issue with the link to the enroll on the course but this is probably my husband fault, emailed Patrick on Christmas Day (not expecting a reply until the will after Christmas) and he messaged back supper quick. That’s customer service!!!.
100% recommend to any crafter that like there garden too.

Quick delivery, my husband ordered me a willow course for Christmas, at my request. It was delivered quickly and has been standing in the corner of my kitchen for the past month!
I was so excited to finally open it last week and start watching the online videos explaining what each project was and the steps to complete each one. The tutor was very lovely and easy to follow. It was easy to pause and give myself a bit more time when needed. Handling willow is a completely new thing for me and I absolutely loved it. Sometimes the willow broke a bit and the videos assured me that this was normal and part of handling a natural product. I never felt like I was doing it wrong or wasn't good enough. I simply pulled out another reed and started that bit again.
I was so pleased with my finished star which looked even more impressive when I attached the tiny lights which were included in the pack.
Thank you so much not only for teaching me a new skill but for giving me something I'm not ashamed to put on the wall. I can see the imperfections but that's part of the journey. Can't wait to try the next two projects.
I can't see how to add a photo but if I work it out I will because it's beautiful and you won't believe that this is my first ever try at using willow. In the meantime you'll just have to take my word for it 😃

Great service. Delivered on time but was missing 1 item, I contacted Patrick, he responded very quickly and sent the item out all has now been received and was received within a couple of days. Mistakes happen but this was rectified very quickly. Would definitely order again

I purchased 5 star kits for my daughter. Kits turned up fine. I never actually got confirmation email. (Had several emails saying order not complete). I have tried contacting company as without "course" all have is a pile of sticks.

I had exactly the same issue as Ken. No product, contacted after a week, would be with me the next day. No sign of it and no further contact. Luckily I paid by credit card and was able to claim it back. I would avoid!
Update: Patrick contacted me after Christmas and has delivered the items free of charge. The items look good. I have not yet looked at the course.

Due to my error there is a mistake in my order but I spoke today on the phone with the company who are going to send me the product I wanted. The video guides are really good, comprehensive and helpful. I’m really looking forward to starting the project. I like to support small businesses

Unfortunately I have hade exactly the same experience as other recent posters. Ordered a kit which cost, in total, £107 and order confirmed.

The website promises 2 day delivery so after a week I asked if an update was available, I received an apologetic email from Patrick stating it would be dispatched that very day and delivered tomorrow.

A couple of days later nothing had been received and Patrick has ignored all of my subsequent attempts to contact him.

So now he has my money, has not sent anything out and is ignoring me. I have therefore raised a PayPal dispute, which to date he is also now ignoring.

A shame because the product looks good, but I would avoid buying from here.

UPDATE 20/12: since the seller replied below I am pleased to say he has followed through by doing exactly what he said. I have had my money refunded and unexpectedly the seller he’s sent me the item as a good will gesture.

I would never use this company again - haven't received the materials. Website and kits looked great, so I ordered a kit that cost over £90. Waited a week and when I hadn't received anything I emailed..got a reply from Patrick saying it would be dispatched that day and should be with me next day. Nothing arrived so I emailed asking for confirmation it was dispatched...since then Patrick has ghosted me and not responded to my follow-up emails. Since ordering I've read the trustpilot reviews and it seems he does this a lot. Feels like a scam.

I ordered and paid for a gift, and since then there have been no updates, no responses to my emails, no telephone number and no delivery. Do not order from this company.

I ordered a basket kit, but sadly the order wasn’t delivered, or was pinched from the doorstep 🥲🥲 (deliver co’s photo only showed the doorstep!)
I contacted the company and they replaced my order!!

Ordered a willow basket making course and kit for my wedding anniversary (9 years is willow apparently 🤷🏻‍♂️) After a couple of days I received an email stating the items were sold out and would I like a refund or to wait which is normal. Unfortunately the wait would have put the delivery a week past my anniversary. Which any married man that’s missed multiple previous anniversaries knows… this ain’t an excuse that they’ll believe!
After letting them know my own 2 hands sent out a spoon whittling course so my wife had something to open on the day and then followed up by sending the willow basket when it was in stock.
Incredible customer service way more than expected and hugely appreciated and really pulled me out of the sh**

I highly recommend the shopping basket course!!! Top quality materials, excellent video instruction and good customer service. I can’t believe I’ve made it! I’m looking into doing other courses and will definitely keep these in mind as we get closer to the Christmas season.

I loved my course and kit. I made the oval basket and found it such an amazing experience - so therapeutic and enjoyable. The video course was really instructive and easy to follow and the kit provided everything I needed. Molly is super. I will definitely be making another one. T

Ordered and paid on 4th August, have received nothing, there is no shipping information and after several emails that have gone unanswered, I doubt I'll be receiving the item + 'free gift's. Very disappointing when you're trying to encourage small businesses, but get no communication or interaction past taking your money.

Placed order on 4th August, received shipment email same day. It’s now 13th August and the tracking website still saying the same thing. No telephone number to complain so have used the website contact and also emailed and still heard nothing. I’m so disappointed.

I really love heritage crafts and have wanted to try basket weaving for years, so was so pleased to find this company. You gain access to the videos straight away and these are very nicely filmed with great explanations.

However, the materials did take a while to arrive. After 9 days, the willow had not been despatched. But the owner (Patrick) was extremely responsive to my emails and explained that due to the bad whether this spring and summer, the willow drying process was taking their local farm longer than expected. Another package was despatched but never scanned by the courier (I suspect the courier may be an issue). However, on the third attempt, all equipment arrived and I am happy to get started. I was even given free access to any course of my choice to make up for the delayed delivery, which I very much appreciated!

I can't fault the quality of the course and great responsiveness of the owner. It's definitely worth supporting a small business and keeping heritage crafts going!

So my initial experience wasn't extremely positive, due to their advertisement (considering willow delivery takes time, their initial advertisement was a bit misleading, and I saw a lot of people were commenting the same)

I ended up loving the course and bought 3 courses over the last several months.

Their course is easy to follow and it comes with what you need - you will do better if you have certain things (vodkin etc) but they'll tell you alternatives so you can start with just their kits.

I bought a willow basket weaving course.
I got access to the online course immediately but the material hasn't come yet although it's been 4 days- they haven't shipped it yet. The website has 2 days shipping claim but I still haven't got notification whatsoever.

I hope they'll send the materials soon
