The service at the garage was fine.

However, the Melbourne call centre was unacceptably poor and I won't use it again - very inefficient and got my appointment wrong as well.

Quick quotes. Only need the car a day when booking in advanced. Polite staff.

22-Jan-2026: Took the Car to CE St Lucia yesterday to fix a broken handle plus an electronic issue that keeps auto-locking the car. I explained to the person on the phone and in person (Scott) that the car keeps auto-locking itself and that I had to get my roadside to unlock the car multiple times.

The handle is fixed but the issues with the door autolocking remains (to be examined by an electrician next Wednesday). Right now, I basically can't open the car door easily from both outside and inside.

The funny thing is they kept telling me 'oh yeah, the handle is fixed, you paid for fixing the handle' even when I alluded to them that I can't even open the door. I felt like I was speaking an Alien language to them. Eventually the guy who changed the handle come out and spoke to me. He said that they didn't know that the electronic problems existed in the first place.

There was no understanding or anything even remotely close to it. Unfortunately, I have to reduce the score from 5 to 1. It seems that the good folks who did a lot of work before have gone (including Ashley who was exceptional in dealing with customers at the St Lucia Branch).
