Quick friendly service

One of the tyres on my car had been slowly leaking air for some time and every few days I needed to visit a service station to add air. When I visited Mycar at Booragoon I was informed that I did not need to book my car in but could leave the car with them at any time. They would need it for 1-1 and1/2 hours. I did this and when I returned, I was told there had been a nail in the tyre, the puncture was fixed and because I had previously purchased tyres from their business this service was FREE!

I went for a quick tyre check suspecting puncture. Went there and was told that the tyre was damaged probably during fitting and as an act of good faith, they would replace the tyre to make sure me and my family are safe. I really appreciate the honesty and service because the team changed it on the same day. Would highly recommend MyCar Booragoon and team if you are in the area, once again, thank you.

I rang about a puncture in the rear wheel of my wife's car. I was told it made no difference if I brought the wheel or the car.

My wife took the car leaving her phone number and was told it would be up to an hour. She got a call after 30 minutes to say (1) Her tyres needed replacing and as the car was up on the hoist they could do it now (2). she was also told her rear brake pads needed replacing.

Another 90 minutes later she went back because she thought surely the puncture would be repaired by then but had not been notified. Despite leaving her number and having received a call, the company had apparently sent a text to my phone and not hers.

It was a puncture that she needed repairing! it was agreed upon her
return that the tyres did not need replacing immediately but were getting near the wear markers, I knew that and I knew the pads needed replacing.

So my only two stars rating is based on a focus on unwanted UPSELLING, gratuitous information about the brakes compounded by not attending to the correct phone left with MYCAR at the beginning and used for the upselling. Thus my wife spent an extra hour shopping at the local shopping centre where she bought a new quilt, pair of shoes and a sunhat which cost a total of $243.70.
