Purchase bed & king split mattress
Purchase bed, mattress and other bed items on 8/26/25. Delivery date scheduled for 9/2/25. Items north delivered and when questioned, rep said items not on schedule. Can deliver in 3 weeks Told them that was not acceptable. Then that changed date to 9/5/25. Told rep that bedroom was ready now. Called number on sales slip and canceled all items. Advise them if they can’t honor original date I don’t want any item. Legitimate delay would have been acceptable but not bad record keeping
Really Disappointed customer!
I bought a complete bedroom set from Bob's in 2022 they talked us into buying the warranty and this month I noticed the bottom part of the Floor mirror I purchase had rust on it. I remember we purchased the warranty and I called Bob's and put a ticket in and of course they said it was wear and tear and it was not covered. Really I had a different stand up mirror in the same spot before we purchased our new bedroom set and never saw any rust on it at all. I had them escalate the ticket and they came back with the same answer. What a waste of money to buy their guarantee matter fact I will never purchase anything from Bob's again. Really disappointed customer will never be back after this aggravation!

I brought a couch from this company on the day the delivery was supposed to take place no one showed up, I then called and company advised they said they have the wrong contact info in The system I ask them how when the sales rep has called and text multiple times to up sale me and confirm the delivery, all I got from customer service was a very rude response. I then decided I didn’t want to do business with a company who treated customers this way and requested a refund, I was then Told by another RUDE customer service person that the card they have on file ends in a number that is not my card. I asked them how they can have a wrong card on file one I have never used or know anything about and they seem to see no issues with a different card not the card that was used to purchase the couch being on the invoice and my contact info in the system being changed? They then tell me after I already took a day off I need to drive 40 min again to the store to show my ID (no one asked for a id when I paid) to get a refund. I have reported this fraud to the trade commission. Use caution when handing your credit card over to a Bobs sales rep
Bob’s in PK - a really great experience
Donna B. was so nice helping me and my husband pick out our first new couch. She understood our budget and was discerning and knowledgeable in her recommendations. We really felt like we were being given special, undivided attention.
The delivery people were also excellent. They happily made the effort to fit our couch through our very difficult entryway (on the second floor). Despite the challenge, they were successful, and I’m writing this review while sitting on my brand new couch.
We are newly able to afford nice things here and there. Furniture shopping that wasn’t in a thrift store was daunting to us, but Bob’s made the entire process pleasant and simple. We will be back!
CORPORATE BOB RAPES CUSTOMERS RIGHTS FOR MORE REVENUE
I've used Bobs Furniture to furnish my apartment and my home for over 25 years. Years ago, it was a different company. Bob sold to a big corporation and they use his name and likeness now.
Bob's furniture used to last. Now it seems very cheaply made and they break down very quickly. The electronics on a $3,000 recliner sectional (just outside of the one year warranty) are not working. They refer me to goof proof because I purchased the coverage. Most likely Guardian (goof proof) will deny the claim stating its manufacture defect not accident, although Bobs now claims Goof Proof covers like an extended warranty too.
Here's the thing that bothers me the most: Bob and Guardian had class action cases against them for their GOOF PROOF SCAM. So what did they do so they could continue with their scam and make additional money on their customers for insurance that they just intend to deny?
CORPORATE BOB'S TOOK AWAY THEIR CUSTOMERS RIGHTS TO JUSTICE THROUGH OUR COURTS by inserting into their fine print on your sales contract that you are agreeing to not be a part of a class action and you can't even hire an attorney to try to make them pay. They state that you have to go through an arbitration organization that's probably in their pocket too.
Worst customer service ever
Only providing 1 star to post review but they deserve NO STARS! Ordered a lift recliner for over $1,000 for my husband’s upcoming surgery. When it arrived he slept in it a total of three times and it broke during the night. He called and sent pictures of the damage as required and explained situation. They told him due to surgery they would send a replacement chair via FedEx because of timeline and we were to call when it arrived to schedule someone to come out and put together. FedEx came today with a metal frame no chair and no idea what the metal frame was for, which we did not accept. Called immediately and the rude gentleman that my husband talked to said there was no such conversation listed that he previously had on record and the pictures he sent were not accurate. Seriously?? It’s pictures of the chair with damaged brackets and back of chair that fell off. This guy was a total IDIOT which we could hardly understand!!! After the worst customer service experience we have ever encountered he demanded a refund and someone to come and pick up the piece of junk chair. Now it’s going to sit here and take up space for 2 weeks until they get here. You are totally wasting your money if you buy furniture from this company and there are plenty of other BAD reviews to confirm. I guess the saying “you get what you pay for” is an accurate statement. CHEAPLY MADE FURNITURE FOR A CHEAP PRICE! Buyer beware
Garbage quality. Do not waste your money.
I bought a sectional from you two years ago. The fabric it's made with is very cheap and it's splitting at the seams. I already had a warranty issue with it where you guys replaced a part of the sectional, and unfortunately the same thing has happened with the replacement.
The couch is simply cheaply made with cheap fabric and it does not hold up to the wear and tear of a family household. It is splitting at the seams, and this is the REPLACEMENT. Absolutely terrible, do not buy.
2 months + and still waiting for my order
I ordered two night stands and had a good experience with them arriving on time, and packaged well for my pick up (otherwise I would only give Bob's one star). Then I ordered the dresser that goes with them. Like others who have posted, the item has not been delivered in a timely manner, not the 5-6 wks declared on their web page. We are now starting week 9. One customer service rep was unintelligible; some other country? The customer service rep who I could understand told me the item would be here this week (8-9 weeks max), but the store said it wasn't even showing up in a warehouse so they had no idea when it would arrive. The same item can be purchased from two other online stores which promise a one-week delivery, al be it at a higher price. Bob's has had my money for two months, now, but I don't have my item. The store salesman was very nice, even when I blew my top, but the only way to check with the store for the status of my order is to reply to a txt and ask them to call back. How nuts is that? Otherwise you get sent to tin-buck-two in some foreign country judging by the accents. They are expanding very fast with new stores, but first they need to get their act together.
They don’t care if you die
I needed a couch as it was for recovery following surgery. My old couch has been removed and the drivers claim to have been here but no one knocked or rang the bell. They refuse to redeliver until the end of the week so here I am with an empty floor, surgery scheduled, and no one to recover. Appalling. All day I’ve called and been lied to. Completely embarrassing operation.

I can't say enough about Stacy from the Staten Island store. I didn't feel like a customer. She made me feel like I was talking to my friend as we shopped for furniture. She worked with my space and gave me great suggestions on what my possibilities were. Even after it was delivered, she followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Can't wait to work with her again

My wife and I were greeted promptly with a smile from your representative Alicia Lambrecht. We could tell at once that she listened intently to our needs request for a new bed and pointed us directly to a Bob O'Pedic firm mattress. We had shopped before at Bob's for a furniture piece and were so satisfied with it over the years so we knew that "Bobs" would be our very first stop to look for bedding. Alicia answered all of our questions and introduced us to two other store employees who took over when she had to take a phone call. There is never any high pressure at Bob's to buy anything, just casual smiles and friendliness!. Delivery came on Wed. 8/13/25 AM and the 3 movers did an excellent job of installing the bed and removing the old mattress. These men too were cheerful and must really like the jobs they have. Thanks Alicia and staff for doing such an excelled job all the way around to make us happy. Peg and I enjoyed on the bed and we both slept very very well! Continued Success and Best Wishes ALWAYS! Great customer service
The staff at the Dedham, MA store branch were great. The moment I stepped into the store, I was warmly greeted. Cheryl, in particular, was amazing. She listened to what I was looking for and asked about the little details (even ones I didn’t even think about) to ensure that I found the perfect fit. This was my first time at Bob’s and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly.

Jack at Taylor Mi store did us right. Saw a beautiful leather love seat half off. Threw in another 99 bucks for 5 year goof proof coverage plan and home it came with us. Looks great in our 5th wheel and we couldn't be happier. Excellent piece at an excellent price!!
If you are looking for cheap prices on…
If you are looking for cheap prices on furniture and even cheaper customer service then Bob's is the place for you. Was advised that everything would be delivered on the same day. Was never advised that mattresses would not be delivered on the day the bed came in until that day when the workers didn't have them on their truck. Then new paperwork was provided that said the date of 8/12/2025 for delivery. No correspondence to confirm this. When I called "customer service" there was 0 help and was advised that the date would actually be 8/14/2025 however they couldn't do it then either and would have to wait until 8/28/2025. So they get you in the door with cheap prices and nice salespeople. Then they really screw you over when you are trying to get what has already been paid for. Unless it's something I can take out of the store, I don't see myself ever using Bob's again. I would rather pay more and get great service from everyone.
