I felt unsafe
I reported the below incident to the Dubai Consumer Protection Bureau because I felt unsafe. Mumzworld took possession of both my money and my item under the pretext of “checking it,” even though I had already requested a return and they refused. Why would you need to inspect an item you declined to accept for return? Once you took it from me, who guarantees that I will receive the same item back? As a consumer, I did not feel protected in that situation, and that is deeply concerning.

This has been the worst customer…
This has been the worst customer experience I've ever had.
I ordered a Kärcher device, but it arrived with a manufacturing defect. To this day, they have neither refunded me, nor taken the device back for repair or replacement, and they have also refused to cover the customs charges resulting from this issue.
Customer service has been extremely poor. I only receive a reply every 4–7 days, usually from a different person, and they keep repeating the same response without providing any real solution. I was also given information that later turned out to be incorrect, and it felt like the goal was simply to end the conversation rather than resolve the issue.
I do not recommend dealing with this company, especially if your order involves international shipping and customs procedures. My after-sales experience has been extremely disappointing.

Inefficient website and customer service
The reality of this website is that there is little to no effective customer support.
They advertise multiple support channels available 24/7, but don't expect any real action or resolution when you need help.
We chose their baby shower gift registry because it was marketed as an easy and seamless experience. Unfortunately, the website malfunctioned and allowed two of our friends to purchase the same gift item. The item should have been automatically removed from the registry after the first purchase unless multiple quantities had been specified.
I contacted customer support via live chat and was promised a refund in the form of website credit. At the time, I thought the issue had been handled quickly and professionally and I later requested a return for a thermometer (via the phone, with an agent).
Things became much worse
The return process generates a completely different reference number from the original order number. When contacting customer support by phone, agents are unable to track the return unless you provide the order number. Since I had two separate orders containing the same item, this created endless confusion.
Why are different IDs generated? Why customer service cannot use the IDs sent via SMS? How are customers supposed to track their returns? Why can one return be picked up while another cannot? Customer support was lost, didn't see what's in their own system, or maybe just didn't want.
To be fair, someone will answer the phone when you call. However, there appears to be very little communication between departments, and you will find yourself explaining the same issue repeatedly to different agents.
Most frustratingly, despite numerous calls and conversations, we still have not received a solution.
My advice: there are many alternatives on the market today. If you have another option available - USE IT.
Update:
To give credit where it's due, the refund has now been processed. It took a little over a week, multiple phone calls, and leaving reviews on several platforms before the issue was finally resolved.
The company also sent an apology gift, which was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated.
While I'm pleased that the matter was eventually sorted, I still believe the customer support process needs significant improvement. The biggest issue wasn't the refund itself—it was the lack of clear communication, the confusing return process, and having to repeatedly explain the same problem to different customer service representatives.
I'm glad the company ultimately made things right, but I hope they work on making the experience much smoother for future customers.
