I have used Mt. Sobek for several serious hiking tours since 1995. Always a great experience with talented guides and fabulous scenery, food, etc. Mt. Sobek is one of the few companies that still has great trips for intrepid travelers looking to explore unexplored corners of the world!!

My friends have travelled with Mt. Sobek previously , so I tagged alont on a trip. The guides we had were the absolute best, and were very aware of every person and situation.. the only I will have to say is that Mt. Sobek and I have different ideas of 'Exposure'.. Would definitely use them again.

My trip was perfectly organized and completely turnkey. All I did was show up and have fun! Guides were excellent. Accommodations were excellent and also historic which was a big plus. One overnight was in a castle! Awesome! Staff at MTSobek are personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I have two trips already signed up with MT Sobek for the coming year and I'm contemplating a third one as well. I would definitely recommend MTSobek as a trip provider to my friends and family.

The Classic Tour de Mont Blanc is truly a must-do trek that ranks up there with the best scenic hikes in the world. MTSobek added to the experience by delivering a fantastic itinerary under the expert guidance of Danny Garcia. He not only provided a safe and well informed journey but added personality and fun to bring the group together in a cohesive way to create many great memories. I can't recommend this trip highly enough.

I joined the Iraqi Kurdistan cultural tour led by Dr. Douglas Layton. It was an unforgettable experience. The tour was very well organized. There was a nice balance of archeological site visits, experience of contemporary culture, and even hiking and kayaking! Dr. Layton's lectures on the bus were very informative and educational. The local guides made sure every our accommodations (in very fancy hotels) and everybody's requests were taken care of very smoothly.

A perfect hike in Peru!!! Mountain Travel Sobek arranged a lodge to lodge trek which ended in beautiful Machu Picchu. Exploring the lovely city of Cusco, the marvelous, fun guide, Eddie, the perfect accommodations, the challenging hiking and the breathtaking scenery made for a beautiful adventure!

Other than an unexperienced front office which had me question the logistics of the trip especially with the Covid issues the trip was spectacular.From the moment we landed in Lima everything was well organized and went without any issues. The guides and support staff were top notch and i have already recommende the trip and guides to several of my friends Looking forward to my next trip with MT Sobek

I have done many trips with MT Sobek, they never disappoint!

Food wasn’t very good or nutritious and there was not enough. Everything else was great!!

The guide and camping activities were out of this world. The hotel we started in was terrible. But, the rest of the trip more than made up for it. I would highly recommend this trip. Just start at another hotel!

Great guides, very knowledgeable and encouraging, well organized, delicious meals, no man left behind ( or hurried when taking pictures). I will use definitely use MT SOBEK for future trips.🥾

Wonderful trek. Great guides and very enjoyable fellow trekkers. Guides adapted well to unexpected events -- over 3rd night, a horse lead away most mules and we spend unplanned extra night is same camp awaiting return of packers and mules .Guides arranged pleasant day hike and changes route on final two days.

I recently returned from Mt. Sobek's Alps Village to Village Hiking trip. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our guide Laurent was fun and extremely knowledgeable. The places we stayed in lovely places and enjoyed delicious food throughout. The scenery was amazing and the hiking was wonderful. I loved the trip and recommend it without reservation.

We have taken three Family Adventure trips with our family with Mountain Travel Sobek.

They have been well organized, given us clear preparatory information, and delivered all that was promised. The guides have been more than excellent! We will definitely travel with them again in the future.
