Visiting Peru and Machu Picchu was a lifetime dream and I chose Kuoda Travel after extensive research and high expectations. From the initial contact with Nadia, my Travel Designer, I knew Kuoda was the right choice. Nadia’s warmth and knowledge was evident right from the start. She designed an 8-day itinerary that was authentic, thoughtful and well-paced. From Lima through the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, and back to Lima, everything was flawless. In addition to a detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary, she provided us a Destination Guide and a Peru Guide that answered all of our questions. Once in Peru we communicated with the Kuoda team, including Lucas, the Customer Care Supervisor, through WhatsApp. At every step of the way there was someone at our side to help us navigate this beautiful country; from Sarah and Ofelia for the airport arrivals and departures, to Jose, our driver. But the trip was made extraordinary by our warm and wonderful Tour Guide, Evelyn. She was the person that brought Peru to life for me and my best friend. Although I had dreamed of Machu Picchu for over forty years, and am in the travel industry, it was hard to believe my friend Debbie was unaware of its existence. Evelyn, our Guide, was with us throughout our journey, and her knowledge and passion for the history, culture, geography, flora, and fauna of Peru was amazing. Her enthusiasm was infectious. We delighted in every experience, from visiting the llamas and alpacas, the amazing lunches at a hacienda and private home, the women weavers near the town of Chinchero, the Maras salt pans, and so much more. Of course, the highlight was Machu Picchu. Evelyn made it come alive. We were fortunate to have multiple visits to the site, so were able to enjoy a slow and thoughtful pace to appreciate the splendor of being there. Staying at the Sanctuary Lodge, steps away from the site, and riding the luxurious Hiram Bingham train fulfilled my Peruvian wish list. Hotels were excellent, food delicious, and museums informative, especially the Larco Museum in Lima. Cusco was colorful, churches beautiful and the Pachamama ceremony giving thanks to Mother Earth on our last morning in Peru was a wonderful spiritual way to make our journey complete. All of this under the guidance of Evelyn and the Kuoda team, our travel family. Kuoda exemplifies the very best of Peru. They provide an exceptional service and I feel confident they will make your dreams come true too.

We had a wonderful experience with Kuoda Travel, guided by Isabelle, who worked closely with us to design an itinerary tailored precisely to our preferences. Our trip included the Amazon, an unforgettable hike to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and Cusco, Lima, and Paracas. Every detail was thoughtfully planned with our needs in mind.
The guides were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we experienced Peru to the fullest. Everything felt truly high-end—nothing was skimped on or overly touristy. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotels, meals, and overall experience.

The Sacred Valley was a highlight, and the 8-mile, one-day hike to Machu Picchu is an absolute must. Paracas is a surprise .... especially the Nasca lines. Peru is an extraordinary destination, and if you want to experience it at its best, Kuoda is the way to go. We have worked with other travel groups in the past and have often been disappointed—but Kuoda exceeded our expectations in every way.

Kuoda travel took care of every last detail of our trip. Our agent, Nadia, was very friendly, enthusiastic, thorough, responsive and organized. They individualize based on your needs and desires. The guides were all caring, knowledgeable people. The accommodations were beautiful. I would let Kuoda plan any trip!

Kuoda organized for us a 12 days trip to Bolivia including Santa Cruz. Cochabamba, Uyuni Salt Flats, Lake Titicaca and LA Paz. It was a family trip of 4 adults, one of them 70+, the others 40+. Kuoda was very fast and responsive with regard to the suggested trip schedule and our requested amendments. The whole trip was very smooth, all the drivers were great and all the guides were super nice, knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations. We could not have had a better experience in Bolivia.

This trip was amazing. Every detail was attended to and the itinerary was perfect for what we wanted. We experienced so much of Peru and learned a lot about its culture and history. Every staff member was professional, kind, and thoughtful. We cannot recommend Kuoda enough!

This was the second time Kuoda helped me with organizing a trip to Peru. And like the first time, everything was outstanding. Our group consisted of 5 people ranging in age from 30 to 70, all with different wishes. Isabel was able to incorporate all our wishes and created an itinerary that was perfect for the entire group. Communication was fast and questions (including questions during trip) were answered promptly. Our guides and drivers were wonderful. We just took the trip of a lifetime to Peru with Kuoda in May/June 2025. It was a 16 days private tour with my partner and my friend. The experince with Kuoda was great from start to finish. I first contacted Kuoda late last year and was connected with their Peru expert Molly. Molly was super friendly and helpful, always responds to my email promtply and on-point. She designed the trip itinerary that fits our needs and interestes. She then booked all of the hotels, activities, tickets to Machu Picchu etc and communicated to us clearly. Working with her was a such a breeze!
A few days before the trip, Kuoda created a WhatsApp group for us, which includes their customer service manager as well as their dirctor, so we can easily communicate with them during the trip. We feel so pampered during our entire trip to the Amazon rainforest, Sacred Vally, Machu Picchu, Lake Titikaka and Lima. Everything was arranged and we did not have to worried about anything. Even on our traval days Kuoda prepared high-quality box lunch for us. Kuoda guides we've met are all ultimate professionals. They're very knowledgable of the history and culture of Peru, the flora and fauna of the land, pretty much everything there is to know about the places we visited. I want to send a special shout out to our guide David in Cusco area. All the hotels that Kuoda picked for us are wonderful. Especially the InkaTerra hotel in Aguas Callientes and Tambo del Inka in Urubamba.
I will definitely go back to Kuoda for my next South America trip.

We had an unforgettable 8-day adventure in Peru with Kuoda. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully curated and flawlessly executed. Jeremy – We spent five full days with Jeremy exploring Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. By the end, he felt like part of the family. He brought so much warmth, humor, and patience to the trip—even when we were running late or a bit disorganized. His deep knowledge, especially of local plants, animals, and Incan history, enriched every moment. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer!

Sonia – Sonia led us on a Cusco food tour that was one of our favorite evenings of the trip. She introduced us to hidden local gems—from a street churro stand to a cozy coffee shop—and everything was delicious. She was so friendly and easy to be around. We loved our time with her.

Lucas – Lucas was always available over WhatsApp, ready to help with anything we needed throughout the trip. He also guided us to the airport on our final day and gave us a smooth and thoughtful send-off. We’re grateful for his behind-the-scenes support!

This trip was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you, Kuoda, for making it so seamless, inspiring, and joyful. We can’t wait to return.

Peru's Machu Picchu was a bucket list trip for us and Kuoda has helped make it a seamless experience. Planning began 10 months prior with trip designer, Molly, who was highly responsive and helpful with building our custom itinerary that included Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

When we finally travelled in May 2025, every detail was very well taken care of, with experiences and hotels that surpassed our expectations.

Throughout the 20-day trip, the Kuoda team remained in constant contact through a chat group and was helpful in sorting out any queries or minor hiccups.

For anyone looking for a travel team that can put in place all your quirky requests (ours was to include golf), Kuoda has our endorsement 100%! We especially loved how Kuoda incorporated sustainable, community-building aspects in their partner choices.

Our experience with Kuoda was outstanding! From beginning to end, it was first class. They customized a 4 day trip to Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu for us, allowing us to leave our cruise ship in Lima and catch back up with them in Manta, Ecuador 4 days later. Wonderful travel agent that accommodated our every request, fantastic guides. The food was amazing, the accomodations top notch. The personal touches really made it special, from the Whatsapp group set up for our trip to makes us feel in touch and up to date on what was happening, to the surprise visit from the local Supervisor and Owner who met us at our hotel is Cusco. I can not recommend Kuoda enough......if you are planning a trip to South America you need to contact them!

Highlights of the trip: feeding the baby alpacas each morning at the Belmond Rio Sagrado hotel, riding the Belmond Hiram Bingham to Machu Picchu, the spectacular Machu Picchu, visiting the the female master textile weavers and their children's school near Lake Pray, and culminating with the glorious Inti Raymi celebration in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco (from a balcony reserved for us by Kuoda).
