Overall a great service, even though the app has a couple of foibles which need to be ironed out.

Not fair to have rate of greenmotions when you will extend the rent

It was not easy to find the car, without calling for help, because there was no information given about color or number plate in the app, so we were confused because there were more such cars.

Load a pish. Unclear pricing, ended up having to just go through green motion when I got to the airport and got charged loads extra. Car was tidy though. Tidy as in decent. It was also tidy as in clean.

Ich habe trotz Vorzahlung leider kein Fahrzeug ausgehändigt bekommem. Unvertraulich! Lieber etwas mehr zahlen und seriös Fahrzeug reservieren!

Very bad experience with this App.
We rented a car for 10 days in Greece.
It took us 1 hour to collect the car from the airport (the app was not working)
Someone came to give us a different car than the one we had planned. No contract, no explanation, no Check in.
After 200 km, the clutch broke. (The car had more than 100,000km.) We found ourselves in the middle of the night on the highway. The after-sales service was not responding. No insurance number (not even sure the car is insured). We had to fend for ourselves to tow the and take a bus to return to Athens.
And after this nightmare, Move Mee threatens us to charge us for the repairs and not refund us for the 10 day rental. Completely crazy !

I actually booked through another company that outsourced the customer care to Move Mee and Long story short - next time I take a car rental, I'll go directly through Move Mee. Sam and Steve were super helpful on all accounts and at the final moment when it looked as though I'd be stranded in Athens, Steve dug deep and found a solution ! It was a good experience overall. Thanks team Move Mee

J'ai réservé une voiture sur le site de Movemee mais je n'ai jamais reçu de confirmation de réservation.
De plus, impossible de faire la procédure pour vérifier mon identité avec l'application car impossible de se connecter sur mon compte.
Probablement un problème dans mon adresse mail lors de ma réservation.
Que faire ?

I had some issue about uploading card and document and after sending emails i didin't find a solution.

So i opened the chat in the website (use always that chat) and in 30 minutes the super customer care Gareth solved my problems and made my booking totally complete.

This is something I love about customer care.

Efficency, solving problems in short time!

Had a great trip with a car from Move mee. I had an issue with my driving licence so had to call Steve was amazing and helped me with my licence as I was adding it wrong

I don't usually use apps so I called before booking and Gareth was great.

It turns out I'm not a technaphobe:)

The app was super easy to use and the car hire staff and the car were great so I will book again for my trip in October!

Amazing trip to Athens!!!!

I made a booking with Move Mee via Carjet to collect my car. I arrived Athens to get my car but I couldn’t find it - I called Move Mee and spoke to Samantha who was amazing and helped me verify all my documents and get me in the car - all in all the collection took me 1 hour but carjet never told me I had to download the app - Sam explained everything to me properly and explained where to find the information which I had on an email.

All in all the customer service was incredible and even though it was my fault the stuff I had to do wasn’t done they really really helped me - the car is great and a really nice drive.

I still have to take it back so I will update once I have returned

I would definitely recommend!!!

Nous avons loué une voiture du 7 au 14 juillet 2021 à Athènes. Le système MoveMee N'EST PAS DU TOUT AU POINT !!! Nous avons perdu 2h30 pour ouvrir la voiture car l'application ne répondait pas. Nous avons dû appeler plusieurs fois MoveMee en Angleterre et faire intervenir leur représentant en Grèce à plusieurs reprises. Une fois la voiture ouverte, surprise...réservoir vide et impossible de démarrer car les indications pour faire démarrer le véhicule ne nous ont jamais été précisées et nous avons encore dû faire appel à l'agent grec. Idem au retour, impossible de fermer la voiture ni de prendre les photos demandées avec l'application qui ne répondait pas, d'où perte de 45' avec le risque de manquer notre vol. Nouvel appel en Angleterre qui nous a dit de laisser la voiture ouverte avec les clefs dans la boîte à gants ce que nous avons bien sûr refusé et nous avons à nouveau joint le représentant grec qui est venu récupérer le véhicule. De retour en France, nous avons fait une réclamation auprès du service clientèle de MoveMee qui considère que tout ce dysfonctionnement nous est imputable, ce que nous ne pouvons admettre. MoveMee PLUS JAMAIS ! Stress, perte de temps et mauvaise foi, c'est ce que nous retiendrons de cette expérience !

Upon arriving in Athens, two hours earlier than planned, I realised that even with all the reminder emails and text that I had forgotten to add my driving licence to the app, thank goodness Steve on the helpdek could help and within 20 mins had not only made sure my details where all correct but got a very nice leftterice to deliver the car.. Thank you

What do you expect from a car rental distribution? A car that has been booked and paid for. Unfortunately, this is not the case with Move Mee. I was very disappointed and annoyed when I left my wife and our three children at the airport to pick up the car (about 5 minutes). I spent 1 hour there because the car I booked was not available. I have to convince them of my booking. In a pinch, I got a small car with at least 5 seats. Car was damaged and dirty. I had to clean the seats and the child seat myself with compressed air.No concerns to the local contractual partner because miscommunication from Move Mee. I must thank the local contractor (Chalkidiki cars) for providing me with a car despite these circumstances.I informed Move Mee about these circumstances and was told that they were looking into the matter and would also talk to the contract partner. After a week, I asked the employee of the contract partner who gave me the car if Move Mee had contacted them. He just smile.... No contact.... Now, 2 weeks have passed and I'm still waiting for a response from Move Mee because I don't think I got what I paid for.

Actual thieves? Do not book here— the extra few hundred for other companies is absolutely worth it. We booked well in advance, confirmed the day before and then our flight was delayed. They have a fine print policy where they do not keep the dar after two hours AND charge you the full amount. Lo and behold we showed up ~30 min after the window and we’re charged the full amount. The customer service representatives were rude, bordering on down right mean spirited. The entire experience was one I wish I hadn’t had - a great example of an unethical, unprofessional company, always looking for a way to trick customers into extra fees. If I worked here, I’d be ashamed.

Complete waste of time and outrageous marketing front for a very poor service.

You spend 45 minutes uploading your details onto a shoddy app, only to arrive in a country (Turkey in this case) to be directed to a local rental company, who have no idea what Movemee is, who have none of your details and you have to do it all again, taking about 2 hours.

Despite paying for premium insurance "no excess" I was told I had to pay an additional £74 for body work and tyres.

Just go direct with the companies. It will save you a lot of hassle and time.

Don’t book a car using MoveMee from Thessaloníki airport as the app is not usable and you’ll have to go to a third party company -Chalkidiki cars- and they will give the worst car that they had. You will have to wait to come to the location and they will be 2 hours late and in 35 Celsius is not fun at all. Cars will be dirty and service will be bad. All the hassle for the checks in order to use the up is unnecessary as the app is not working and they do the things the old fashioned way. I don’t ever write reviews but this time it was very very very very bad!
