The arrangements were very smooth and clear, the driver called before collection and was bang on time. Did everything with a minimum of fuss and took away my 23 year old car to its final resting place. He answered a couple of questions I had re DVLA . The cash payment was received later that day to my bank account. I still await the cert of destruction but advised that will follow by email. Thanks for your help

Excellent! The whole experience was efficient and prompt. The paperwork was sorted out easily and the necessary liaison with the DVLA completed. My car was collected from outside my house as promised.

Efficient. Process was very simple online and my car got picked up very quickly. Also they gave me the most reasonable quote.

I gave full details about my car, including the missing parts. They deducted for those parts. Completely fair. No drama.

Collection day arrives… and the driver tries to deduct for the exact same missing parts again. Apparently we were running a “buy one deduction, get one free” promotion.

I called the office to sort it out. They told me I hadn’t mentioned any missing parts — which is impressive, considering they’d already deducted for them.

So I asked them to listen to the recorded call and cancelled the collection on my driveway, because I wasn’t about to pay twice for the same bits of car.

The driver said there were “no notes.”
The office said I’d said nothing.

They reviewed the call.

Turns out… I had very clearly explained everything.

Their solution? Refuse to collect the car because I’d “cost them £80” by cancelling.

No — your mistake cost you £80. I simply declined to fund it.

So to summarise:
They deducted the parts.
Tried to deduct them again.
Denied I told them.
Listened to the call.
Admitted I told them.
Decided I’m the problem.

If accountability were a car part, they’d remove it and charge you twice for it.

I phoned motorwise about my car an I was given a quote which I accepted and within three days they came to collect my vehicle.
Very professional and courteous company, I would call them again if I needed another vehicle taking away.
