Overall, a mixed experience with Motormoohla.

It took over a week and a half to arrange collection of my vehicle, which was longer than I would have expected and liked.

When the collection team eventually arrived, they conducted an incredibly detailed inspection, documenting seemingly every microscopic mark on the vehicle, including things you would struggle to notice without a magnifying glass.

Following the inspection, they attempted to reduce the agreed price by over £1,100. After some negotiation, this was reduced to a £600 deduction.

To be completely fair, they did identify a nail in one of the tyres, which I genuinely hadn't been aware of, and I accept that this warranted some consideration. However, many of the other points raised felt excessively pedantic, particularly for a used vehicle.

What I found especially interesting was that the collection team repeatedly told me not to get angry, even before they had started discussing any deductions. It gave me the impression that they were anticipating a negative reaction to the inspection process, although I can't say whether this is typical of their collections.

I made my position clear: a sale needs to work for both parties, and if I wasn't happy with the revised offer, I was perfectly comfortable walking away. Ultimately, we reached a figure I was prepared to accept, and the sale went ahead.

My advice to other sellers would be to treat the initial valuation as potentially negotiable at collection, be prepared for a very thorough inspection, and remember that you don't have to accept a reduced offer.

Not a terrible experience, but certainly not as straightforward or pleasant as I had hoped.

Made the best offer by far and they sent the driver out a couple of days later and paid the agreed amount,
The driver Sunny was very pleasant and professional and did a full inspection of my car,
Payment was sent over straightaway,

Highly recommend using this company above any others online. Was very sceptical in using any online car sales company but after this experience I couldn’t fault motor moolah. Efficient, competitive and realistic pricing and payment within 10 minutes of final check on car being carried out. Highly recommend! Very easy to deal with and very helpful. Got the price I was quoted with no hassle and took around 10 minutes. If you’re looking to sell your car this is the place.

Honestly couldn’t fault the whole process.

I dealt with Imogen through WhatsApp from the very start and she was absolutely brilliant. She kept in touch throughout the entire process, answered any questions I had and made everything really straightforward. She definitely needs a pay rise! 😂

We agreed a price for the car and that was exactly what I received — no messing about or trying to change things at the last minute.

They organised SB Vehicle Logistics to come up and collect the car, and I dealt with Mohammed Abubaker, who was also a legend. He kept me informed the whole time, explained what he was checking and made the collection completely hassle-free.

From the first WhatsApp message right through to the car being collected, the whole experience was simple, professional and stress-free.

Requested a value was contacted back explained the process gave me an estimated value, took the photos uploaded them and got an accurate valuation which was well above all my other quotes.
Had Isaac walking me through the process and he was brilliant very helpful.
They arranged collection and upon collection inspection payment was swift and easy.
10/10 for Isaac. And 10/10 for the process would highly recommend to anybody selling a car.

Absolutely brilliant service from Onyx. Sunny and Danyal came to collect my car today and were spot on from start to finish.

They arrived bang on time, which was great, and both of them were extremely polite, friendly and respectful. They took great care when dealing with the car and everything was handled professionally. The whole collection process was completely straightforward and hassle-free.

It’s always nice when you deal with people who are genuinely pleasant and take pride in what they’re doing. Sunny and Danyal were a real credit to Onyx and I couldn’t fault the service at all.

Be very careful.
At first the motor moolah experience seemed better than my friends with similar company’s.
Despite the company having photos of my vehicle I was disappointed with the final price, a reduction of £1000.
It seems that moolah are exactly the same as their competitors (with friends and colleagues representing similar views). The industry lives up to its reputation ‘second hand car dealers’.
It’s a shame that the industry is so ruthless and careless towards its clients.
Very very disappointed.

Sold my car for the first time to a trader, was a bit hesitant as I hear bad stories about prices and process. However Ben talked me through it and on the day of sale I only had to wait 25 mins for it to be checked over and got the price they offered. Really simple process and had the money in my bank within 10 minutes. 10/10

Wanted to buy a new car, something bigger so decided to sell my BMW to them. 18 plate so 8 years old and barely any paintwork issues its been well looked after.

I was only generally browsing so wasn't 100% set on selling mine right away but they offered me a decent price. As soon as i sent photos by magic price goes down £250. Took the car to them and was told the car needs a valet, service, brakes, massive oil leak and they knocked loads off the price.

Firstly i am a clean freak so i clean my car myself whenever i can but also take it to companies and my car had a mini valet a day before i took it, in fact the 3 cars i looked at "ready to go" was in worse state inside and out than mine, i got the car serviced by Halfords not even 2 weeks ago and they also inspected the brakes and found 0 issues yet somehow driving 2 weeks since has made them so dangerous. Oil leak you say? funny how its not been picked up on its advisory free MOTs for last 3 years under my care, no oil on drive and i have white stones, i check the oil regularly with the idrive and not once had to top it up its always been maximum! i knew there wasn't one but of course them saying it would cause some concern.

Nothing wrong with the car in fact for its age its Immaculate. But seeing as their "trained" pros made me paranoid that it does have these issues i even called at my local garage on the way home and would you believe it by some magic the oil leak has vanished with no sign anywhere of one current or in the past and the brake pads magically grew too, in fact my local mechanic couldn't stop laughing as the pads are well over half.

Safe to say i rejected the offer and the car is sat on my drive and i will sell private at some point, common tactic is to act like they are doing you a favour for "not charging" you for some of the "work needed" but then charge you for the biggest thing on the list when its all made up anyway. If your desperate don't sell it to these and my advice would be know your car or have it checked over before hand so you can call it out to their face.

After trying for a few weeks to sell this car i came across Moolah Motors and what hit me was the offer price well we all know what that means a hard sell at the end.
So i contacted them and spoke to Jade and to be fair i think she thought it was quite amusing with my performance with the down loading of the pictures.
We got there in the end and the offer they said was accepted and the vehicle was picked up and payment went through no problem.
So a big thank you to Jade and thanks you to Josh who collected the vehicle.
All together a very professional company.

From my first call with Ben I felt I had confidence in Motormoolah. Extremely efficient and polite. Ian came to pick up the car - lovely gentlemen - and everything went smoothly. Got the full price for the car - couldn't be happier.
Be honest about the car and try and present it nicely.
