New Wave were fantastic from start to finish. My broker Debbie Brooks listened to my questions & took the time to ensure I understood the process every step of the way. She even kept an eye on rates & secured me a better deal just before we finalised. I can honestly say that remortgaging has been pain-free. I will definitely be returning when my mortgage is up.

I cannot speak highly enough of New Wave and their incredible team, particularly my mortgage broker, Debbie Brooks, for their outstanding support during what could have been an absolute nightmare with my remortgage. When my solicitors at New Homes Law dropped the ball—delaying my redemption statement and leaving my mortgage deal to expire on June 28, 2025, resulting in completion only on July 19, 2025—New Wave stepped in heroically, far beyond their job scope. Despite it not being their responsibility to chase solicitors, they tirelessly pursued updates on my behalf, ensuring I wasn’t left in the dark.
Their dedication went above and beyond when they escalated the issue to the director of my law firm, forcing action to finally complete my transaction. This level of commitment, even when faced with a mess not of their making, is rare and truly commendable. Debbie Brooks, Chloe Abbott, Rachel Wilcox and the team at New Wave showed professionalism, patience, and a genuine care for my situation, turning a stressful ordeal into a manageable process. Kirsty May, my broker, has been so thorough and diligent in the way she navigated firstly a purchase mortgage and then a re-mortgage for me. Everything she did was efficient then kept me thoroughly updated during the applications. I would highly recommend New Wave as a broker.

I found New Wave Financial Services from a google search, back in January - and was called by Kirsty May, we discussed the situation and, as my second year of accounts were very close (April) decided to arrange a call back for then - but already I knew this was the company to use.
Time travels extremely fast, as it was April before I knew it, and Kirsty was once again at hand, to guide me on everything I needed to provide, simple, straightforward instructions and leave her to deal with what she does best - she is a lovely person, very easy to deal with and did her job to perfection, we quickly had a Mortgage offer in place and are delighted with the service received.

I would also like to mention both Rachel Wilcox & Kim Montgomery as also being fantastic.

Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend New Wave Financial Services, and Kirsty May in particular, to anyone who is self employed and feels let down by the high street lenders, just based on the fact we are self employed.

Brilliant experience, 5 stars!

I am self employed for less than a year, and it was litterally impossible for me to get a mortgage. There are a few mortgage companies which specialise in self employment, however, they were all helpless in my case, and they advised me to wait for a year to apply for one. Then I found Newwave financials in the internet, and I gave them a call. Daniel Cosgrove was my operations manager, and he got a Mortgage in Principle for me. Robn Murphy was my case manager, and they both worked tirelessly on my mortgage, and I have to say, within 4 weeks time, I had my mortgage offer. I am writing this review sitting in my new home.
Without Daniel Cosgrove and Robyn, I wouldn't have been able to get this house. And just in front of your eyes, house prices are soring. Wait for a year means, another 60k more for the same house!!
Big home builders have their mortgage advisers, and these advisors take your case if everything is right and straight forward (and they don't charge any fees, because their work is a lot easier). That's where Newwave stands out; even when it is very complicated, they offer you a helping hand. Ofcourse NewWave charge you a fee, but when you compare it with the service they render, the fee is very very cheap.
I can confidently say NewWave is the best in the market, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Wow! What can I say about this company. Never imagined owning my own home being self employed. With guidance & advice from Dan C and Rachel W we made it! They both talked us through the entire process at each stage and kept us calm lol!

I can’t thank Dylan and Rachel enough! They worked absolute magic especially because I am self employed and had a poor credit history on top of that I had limited accounts. They managed to get over all the problems with easy and made it such a painless process. Whenever I had question they were just a call way. I wouldn’t look any more for a mortgage specialists. If they can do it for me they will get you your mortgage. Amazing

I would not recommend these at all. They wasted 4 months of our time with a fake mortgage in principle that no lender agreed to. In this time we instructed solicitors and paid for searches as this broker consistently told us everything was in hand. After 4 months of chasing and misguided reassurance Callum the broker finally admitted they couldn’t get us the mortgage we needed. We went elsewhere and got the mortgage sorted within 3 weeks. We feel they weren’t honest from the get go and shouldn’t have wasted so much of our time.

I have always received top quality service and communications with New Wave. No reason to look elsewhere for my mortgage needs.
