Excellent Service!
This is our first time using mortgage advice bureau and I cannot find any fault in their service or advice. My husband and I felt supported by Jordan throughout our whole journey. He provided answers to our questions and helped us find the right mortgage for our new home! Josh was also a great support with the admin side of the process.
Overall, I would highly recommended to my friends and family to use mortgage advice bureau. Amazing service!

Appalling

Sophie Williams we dealt with to start who just dropped the ball. Gave us an offer for mortgage which we decided to go with & emailed her the Thursday night. Heard nothing till the following Wednesday then that Friday she sent me all the details with a different mortgage rate costing us another £60 a month cause she obviously S***the bed & just didn’t tell us. She did not inform us that the rate had changed at all.
There were days where I would email her & just be ignored which I eventually called through & just got excuses. Not very professional at all.

Cainan Mitchell was the case handler very informative at times but things were dragging on due to HSBC delays & redeeming the help to buy just seemed like we were at a stand still.

Started our remortgage on 24th May was finally sorted 1st September which is just ridiculous.

Was mega stressed out dealing with mortgage bureau as I was chasing them to do a job I was paying them for. I would get an email to print & sign then a few days later more that had been missed.

I won’t be using them again.

Great experience with Tolga and all the team from their initial advice to submitting the mortgage application, and through to sorting insurance. Would definitely recommend :)

The whole process was made simple and straightforward. As a first-time buyer, Tolga has explained all the steps in detail, talked through options and submitted the AIP and mortgage application in less than 2 weeks.

Mark Judge contacted me a few months before my mortgage was due to expire and made the whole renewal process far easier than I thought it would be. They are very quick, professional and I would definetely recommend them without hesitation

When we got qualified for a new build by Bill, we also got disqualified by a different mortgage adviser for the same property. Bill gave us 99.9% assurance that based on our income/outgoings we are qualify for the property... Guess what! We got a mortgage offer from a bank on the 14/7/2023 for this new build. Nicholas and Lewis listened carefully to our requirements and then spent time to consider the options available, before getting back to us quickly with an appropriate solution to what was quite a difficult problem.Very helpful service. I cannot thank you all enough! We were totally out of our depth with no clue what we were doing if I’m honest, but Brad went above and beyond to help us. He guided us through each step, explained in depth the process and made me feel at ease in what was a stressful situation. I did mortgage through a mortgage advisor of mortgage bureau in March 2022 when our new house was under construction, and was expected to complete by September 2022.
Mortgage advisor, Initially emailed me that my mortgage will be fixed for five years and he has taken the mortgage in principle but then later after couple of weeks he said interest rates have increased and now with this much monthly instalment only two-year can be fixed and 5 year offer has become much expensive, I am first time buyer and I had no good idea about the mortgages, but he did not guide me that I should go for five years because the interest rates are on the rise.
I ended up selecting two years fixed offer but he never guided me to make a wise decision.
if adviser had explained in detail then I could go for a five year mortgage.
The house completion was in September but document mentioned installments starting May 2022 and fixed period until May 2024, I asked adviser why is so and he told me instalments and fixed period will reschedule to September when I will start payments.
when I started to pay mortgage in September, I found my mortgage is only fixed until May 2024, so I have even less than two year fixed-period.
I will have to remortgage early next year and it will probably cost me £800-£900 per month extra.
I could be easily be relaxed for next four years if my mortgage advisor had given me good advice.
I feel he was favouring bank more than myself and never gave me any advice about the mortgage deal.
I feel he was just doing the paperwork between me and the bank.
We expect mortgage advisor to work in the best interest of the client, but I did not get good service.
Mortgage did not bargain with bank that five year fixed agreed in mortgage in principle shouldn’t be changed. He hardly answered telephone calls and only answered emails when he had time. I have really suffered because of lack of advice, and this will cost me a lot.

Barrett homes had recommend the Mortgage Bureau when we reserved our house, we had already been given a mortgage in principle but I hadn’t felt confident with the previous advisor.
After speaking to Wes and him qualifying us for the reservation I immediately felt at ease. I understood the process and knew that he would be there to help us.
To that end Wes went above and beyond, he was there whenever we needed him and the mortgage application was plain sailing.
I can’t thank Wes enough for the time he spent on us. We highly recommend Wes and the Mortgage Bureau!
Speak to you in 5 years when our mortgage will need renewing ;-)
