My order took longer than expected, and I had to contact customer service for an update. They replied and got everything shipped shortly afterward. The lamps arrived exactly as described and the build quality was better than I expected. The shipping process could be smoother, but I'm happy with the lights.

It took longer than expected for my order to ship, but my halo lamp made a great first impression when it finally arrived. It was packaged well, easy to set up, and looks even better in person. Overall, I'm glad I waited.

I've ordered the Aurora Clock and never received it. Everytime I sent emails, support lied about sorting & processing in their warehouse and gave me fake tracking info, then started ghosting me.
After 30+ days of patiently waiting, I opened a dispute via PayPal. As soon as they got my dispute, they provided another tracking number that actually shows the item was shipped, but PayPal gave me my money back.
The fake tracking info they provided in dispute was later showing delivered to a completely different town. What a joke.
This business is going to take your money and constantly lie about it until you eventually forget it and give up. Pure scam, DO NOT PURCHASE.

I've been waiting for the order for over a month but after sending a few emails about the tracker and the status of the order the company replied and they were able to ship everything within a week. The item arrived and it's just as described no complaints there. The quality is surprisingly good! I've read the other reviews and I got scared... it doesn't look like a scam company to be honest, just very small business and oddly managed perhaps, but the order arrived in the end.

Scummy scammers, big promises when contacting but it's all just a web of lies.

All the scam reviews are true: I ordered the clock begin April, promised that it would be shipped in 7-10 business days. I contacted them after that period and they responded by saying it would be sent at the begin of May. Now - a month later again - I am refunding via my creditcard. Don’t buy here!

My halo lamp took a bit longer to ship than I expected, there could had been more updates before dispatch. Once it arrived, though, the build and gradient effects made it feel worth the wait.

Initially I was so excited about the clock. I ordered the Aurora clock back in February 2026 and never received the product. Every time I asked for an update, they would respond that some progress is being made, give some arbitrary deadline, and eventually they generated a tracking label that sat for over two weeks with no update. Mid-April, I asked for a refund since there was no progress being made, and I did not receive any response from them. I had to reach out to my credit card company to get my money back. On the exact day I filed a dispute with my credit card company in April, they finally responded that they would return the funds (they never did). It’s May 7, 2026, and my credit card company decided to just give me the credit and close the case. I would not order from Moonside because they do not honor their own words or deadlines.

Posting this here as I know this is a popular company to buy smart lamps from, and I don't want anyone else to get scammed by them.

It's been ten months, and they have stopped responding to emails.

Please avoid this company at all costs!

You only have 120 days from purchase to ask your bank for a chargeback. Moonside will only respond to emails to make you wait long enough so that you pass this refund window. Your product is not arriving, speak to your bank asap if you want your money back

I pre ordered a clock and was told I would receive it early march, it’s now nearly may and nothing but tracking info 30 days ago that hasn’t updated since then, and that was just to say info received! Countless emails with broken English reply’s fobbing me off!! I’m now going through PayPal to get my refund.

I backed the star bulb on Indiegogo in November of 2024. The order was "shipped" 464 days ago and the tracking has never updated. Moonside refuses to refund backers or be honest about what is happening, and no one has received this item. They keep lying and saying they're in contact with the logistics company. They delete comments on social media so do not trust this company. Fluora Plant is a much better and LEGIT company.

Complete scam of a company. Took two months and they only shipped it out because I kept emailing them. It arrived completely broken and unusable. Suport ghosted and never issued refund. Please report them to shopify.

Shipping was slow but the halo lamp is great . solid build and looks amazing.

Purchased my Halo lamp many months ago. Several emails back and forth about the status, never sent me the order number, never replied when I asked for a refund. First couple of replies were about delays, but then stopped responding. Very disappointing.

The aurora clock is totally worth the wait. Watching the colors move is so relaxing.

Beware! I purchased two lights in May 2025. I received my Moonside lamp one in July after following up, but have been given the run-around about my halo lamp. I reach out monthly to ask for an update, and usually all I receive is something along the lines of “there are delays but we are expediting, and we’ll give you a 10% refund ONCE YOUR ORDER IS DELIVERED.” Eventually they stopped responding. It’s not been almost a year with no halo lamp. Do not trust this company!

This company is a scam. Do you not purchase and read through the multiple forums where they have been exposed - trust pilot, reddit, etc.

They drop ship out of China, issue you a fake tracking numbers then claim delays in the logistics chain with automated customer support emails. Once they pass the typical credit card coverage period they ignore you, stealing your money.

Purchased over $200 worth of products and the shipping status hasn’t changed. It’s been over a year since my purchase. Contacted them via email and Instagram and no one responds. Scam.
