I'm honest with you – if you're looking for a “made for you coaching" – this isn't for you. I joined the program in September 2022 and was really hyped to start learning. The first two weeks were great, and I made a lot of progress in terms of mindset and sales. But then I struggled a bit because I thought the sales strategies didn't work for my niche, so I didn't even try them. (My niche is videos for professional sports athletes, which is kind of hard because it's not that easy to get in contact with pro athletes.)

I then concentrated on my current clients and tried to add more value to my videos, which was a game changer. Nick, Jay, Diego, and Joshua helped me a lot with this because it was my biggest struggle. With their help, I doubled my prices without any objections, which was mind-blowing. I went from $5000 to $10000 just with this little hack.

I then started to use the outreach strategies again, and that's where things got exciting. Remember that I said that they don't work for me and that this coaching isn't about getting stuff done for you? I had to go out of my comfort zone to contact other potential clients, and these guys helped me overcome my fear of contacting people. I'm not a pro sales guy yet, and I still have to learn a ton (I'm just half way though the coaching) – but in October 2022 I closed around $18.000 which was way above my goal for 2022. It's crazy how many opportunities come if you just attract them.

I’ve been in the VBA program for 4 months now. Implementing Nick and the team’s strategies has allowed me to confidently set my minimum requirement for a project at 2.5K. With my deals ranging between 3.5-5K per project.

VBA is an awesome experience that delivers RESULTS. I put in the work, and make no mistake, there is a lot of it to do, but boy did it pay off. My sales have taken off, and in the past few months I've been regularly making between $10,000-15,000 per month from video contracts. There are so many things I didn't even consider, and this academy teaches all of it; from the mentality, to the sales process, to closing deals. Would highly recommend!

I joined this program right once I got out of college to truly get my feet under me as a videographer transitioning from a freelancer to a proper business owner. I was on the fence about joining VBA since it was a substantial investment, but not even 1 month in and I have closed $12k in new contracts. The biggest benefit I have seen is the focus on sales and outreach and also how to effectively communicate the value of the projects I am pitching. VBA is a fantastic coaching program to learn mindset and sales for your video business. They have real interaction and coaching not just videos to watch and they do a great job of interacting with each member. You can get specific questions answered quickly, and they are truly experts in this specific area.

This coaching service is not cheap, but if you follow the steps and out in the work it will more than pay itself off in its returns. While other video coaching models focus more on the technicalities of shooting, I’d say this one is more sales and mindset focuses (which is great). The coaches are organized, try hard to hold you accountable and genuinely seem to care about getting you results. I was one of the people who struggled to get results in the program for the first 6 months, so they paired me up with a one on one coach, Jay, who helped me tremendously with my mindset obstacles that were holding me back in all areas of my business. Highly recommend Moneytree for any videographer who feels like they need help improving their sales, lead generation, mindset, and getting higher paying clients!
