I was a big fan of VBA, the whole program, and its goals and mission... However, I had to leave 3 months in to deal with a family emergency and help a sick family member. And the VBA team has been awful with the whole experience.

I asked for a partial refund as I only did 3 months and did not use the course or the coaching to its full potential. I wanted to use the money to help my family's situation but they told me they could not refund any amount...

I understand VBA is a business, but wow I never thought of Nick Metzger and the team to be that inconsiderate and cold.

To be honest, I was very sceptical in the beginning, because the goals which the VBA-students are achieving seemed quite unrealistic to me. But it changed after I watched several of Nick Metzger's YouTube videos which already provide soo much value. Then I was sure it will be a good decision to join.

Now, three months later, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my life so far. So much changed for me, especially the "Mindset".

It os hard work you have to do here, of course, but you know that what you are doing is the right thing. The coaches are holding you by their hand and helping you out in every possible way. Actually it's hard to fail, when you really want to achieve your goals.

Yes. Especially if you have no real experience or skills in sales.

For my entire life, I knew I wanted to do something that had to relate to video production. I worked on film sets, did corporate productions, and even shot weddings. I would be lucky to make $2,000 a year. I struggled to get paid what I was worth and would be forced to do more photography and graphic designs just to make something. I was at the point of giving up video production entirely, then I came across VBA.

I joined VBA as more of a last-ditch effort to see if I was even cut out for video production. Focusing on Corporate videos as it is the "easy way to make money." The VBA completely changes your mindset around video business. People will not come to you, you have to go to them. They will not hire you if they don't know you exist.

Now every conversation I have with any potential client is starting around 5-10K. They gave me the confidence to drop a high number without backing down. Within 3 months of joining VBA, I signed my first deal of $13,000 CDN.

This is not like any other online course you have taken. Multiple in-class sessions assist you on your journey. You just ask a question and the coaches will help guide you along the way. You will be surprised how many people around the world are in your position.

This program is not easy. It is not about growing your brand awareness, it is not an autopilot system. You will work hard in sales, and you will feel like an idiot, but you will be better than you were. Depending on the conversations you have, it only takes 1 deal to pay off this investment.

I joined the VBA right at the end of Nov 2022, and now, 5 months later, I finally had an $11K month (previously, I was making around $2K a month max).

The course is generally well presented and easy to follow, but what sets it apart from other courses is the amount of supoport they give their students; and it's really high quality support with skilled and successful coaches (esp. Jay and Nick)
So, following the steps taught in the course works... on one condition... That you actually just do what you're supposed to do. This was the tricky thing for me, and why it took so long to see results. Lots of outreach is required, and all of it was outside of my comfort zone. It still is, in many ways, but after seeing results, it makes doing things you don't want to do a little easier because it's worth it.

So, if you're prepared to listen, learn, and do what you're told, regardless of how uncomfortable it makes you feel, then you will absolutely see results. However, if not, then you probably won't.

Within 3 weeks of joining the program I learned enough to upsell a previous client from $1,000/mo to a deal for $3,500/mo for 12 months! The coaching calls and the sales strategies have been absolutely crucial in building my business. Thankful for this team!

The VBA is a top notch program with coaches who are extremely dedicated to their students’ success. The coaching provided me with personalized advice for my specific situations, along with encouragement and accountability when I needed it.

I joined VBA 6 months ago.
I was making around 4-6k a month.
I was looking for sales training to implement a sales system. I was very inconsistent and 99% of my work came through referrals.
Is a very complete program. It not only focuses on sales (which is what I was looking for) but also focuses a lot on mindset, which is as important as sales.
You get out of your comfort zone every day you do the work. You are constantly learning, tweaking, and improving. You feel much more comfortable talking about money, pitching, handling objections, and negotiating.
I passed 10K recently and even though most of the clients came through referrals, everything changes when you have a system in place.
I would definitely recommend this program to any filmmaker and videographer that wants to grow their business no matter what their current level is. The live calls, the chat support, and the Facebook group are amazing tools to help you grow. The team and coaches are amazing. You really feel they care. They also have different perspectives which makes everything even better.

Nick and his Team overdelivered on what they promised. The course was worth every €.

I have been five months into the program, and the results and the help I received are excellent! It has been an incredible learning experience for me. I started with having a couple of clients right and there, charging them hourly and low, to basically building a proper video agency company and charging them based on the value I bring to them, which was something new that I learned from the course. This course taught me how to close deals, talk to clients, and be confident to charge clients without overworking myself and bringing excellent value to the client. I appreciated that the team behind this was keeping me accountable, checking in with me daily and weekly to make sure I achieved my weekly deadlines and goals, which was very helpful for me.

Overall, the course delivery, material, and content are well communicated, and the team is always there to support you and, most importantly, keep you accountable to achieve your goals.
