I have ordered several times from Mon Dessert. With every order I have been impressed. They make great gifts and delicious treats for yourself too! I have always found the quality of kits and instructions to be first class. Recently, I misunderstood what I had subscribed to and the the team were very cooperative via email and rectifying my problem quickly and without issue. salted caramel macron kit
I purchased the salted caramel macaron kit recently. Not only did it contain all the ingredients but some great equipment such as a silicon macaron mat. The instructions and video were clear and straightforward, which made making this potentially tricky dessert achievable. Quality kit and customer service.

Impossible to unsubscribe!
Mon dessert appears to be one of those companies where it's impossible to unsubscribe without jumping through multiple hoops. Requires emailing them directly, to which you get no confirmation or reply, and a week later, the subscription is still ongoing, with no other option than to email them again and again, and hope for the best. What a disappointment!

Really nice home baking service
I liked that it arrived quickly enough, I like the quality of the utensils and the ingredients appear to be of really good quality. I haven't made anything yet as the only recipe card that arrived is for a cake I plan to make next week. I will update when I have tried it. Customer service were excellent.

Nice - but a bit 'fiddly' for me!!
I decided to try the Mille Feuille recipe - I thought this might be a little challenging for me with my baking skills , but with clear instructions would give it a go! I found the pre weighed packaging of the ingredients and the 'tools' included (in a useful tin for use after) helpful. I was daunted by the prep time of 60 mins, and glad that I was pre-warned. I tried this recipe twice (there is a lot going on instruction-wise) as the first batch were not quite as I imagined they would be. For confident bakers this is probably a great recipe, and my second pastries were pretty scrummy - I would buy again, but as a gift for someone else!!

Confidence to make something different!
I am a former subscriber (the only reason I no longer subscribe is due to very strict dietary requirements), & still have kits sometimes.
Kits are complete & make delicious deserts, some of which I’ve never heard of or would never dream I could make!
Customer service has always been excellent.
I highly recommend the chocolate tart & the Charlotte, they are delicious!

Disappointing service for a gift subscription
I bought a 3 month gift subscription for a close friend for their birthday. I received the first box promptly to be gifted, however after this things went severely wrong. I duly gave the recipient their gift and informed Mon Dessert of the address to send the following deserts to. They sent the next 2 boxes to the wrong address where they couldn't be recovered. 2 replacement boxes were arranged but nothing was received after 2 weeks despite a Royal Mail tracking number provided. It was only after the recipient lodged a complaint with Mon Dessert that this provoked a proper response and dispatch of another 2 boxes, which were received.
This has been embarrassing for me as I thought I was giving a genuine quality gift to a friend which has only been hassle for him to sort out and took about 6 weeks to resolve.

Delicious & easy choc chip pancakes
I tried the choc chip pancake mix & it was absolutely fantastic. not only was it incredibly easy to use (all you need is water & oil for greasing) but the pancakes at the end of it were so so delicious. loved the choc ganache sauce for the top ! They’re also vegan & gluten free so are accessible to everyone. The perfect breakfast / brunch !

Fun gift for those with time and patience
I was given the gift tin for the chocolate and gold macarons. It was beautifully presented, containing everything required except the fresh ingredients. It was quite expensive but would be a nice gift for someone keen on cooking. It is quite time consuming, but it does tell you that and explains it is not an easy make, both of which was good to know. The kit contains a reusable macaron mat and piping bag which were great and have been used since. It is definitely a good thing to watch the video prior to starting as it gives you some useful tips on the techniques required, unfortunately I was initially unable to access this. My first attempt with the kit produced very flat macarons, but they were delicious. I have since tried the Salted caramel kit. As I had already got the reusable items it was great. My second attempt was a great improvement and they looked almost perfect, but you must have a sweet tooth!
A fun gift, worth a try
