Everything was great. The set was fabulous really comfortable and great quality. The only negative is that Modern Rattan are not great communicators. Very difficult to get hold of and very few updates on progress. Otherwise a great experience

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !

Placed an order and same as other reviews it was either damaged or lost in transit . Called over a dozen times , left voicemails only spoke once . Numerous emails which have never been responded too. Have my money but 30 days later I still don’t have the goods .

I have reported these for fraud and contacted my bank to get a full refund .

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CHEAP PRICING AS GOU WILL NOT GET THE GOODS AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY COMMUNICATION

TERRIBLE COMPANY …… “AVOID”!!!

An initial bit of confusion at the start where we didn’t get any info about the order/delivery. I panicked that I’d been scammed but was actually reassured when the manager phoned out of hours to explain the mix up. Massive effort by the company to fulfil the order quickly and very pleased with final product.

Don’t be fooled by the cheaper prices. I placed an order on 23rd March with a 5 to 10 working day delivery timescale. I had no contact from the company after they took my £1200 payment until I contacted them multiple times after the 10 working days had expired. I have been told my order got damaged during transit but I have never even received an email to say it had been dispatched so I doubt this. They then gave me a £30 refund “ To get a takeaway to enjoy on the new sofa when it arrives!” When I rang on the 16th April I was told that they had dispatched a new order but could not give me a timescale at all for when it would be delivered. They wouldn’t even confirm that it would be in 5 to 10 working days as it still says in the website. I have lost total faith in the company so I asked for a full refund, which they did, minus the £30 they had already refunded! I have now bought the furniture for £200 more on Cox and Cox but the customer service and communication was worth every penny and a lot less stressful than dealing with Modern Rattan!

Ordered item on Line Dec 2nd had a order number , 10 days later nothing, don’t answer phone calls or emails, eventually so called live
chat said Courier lost item even though I was never advised item posted, I have asked for a refund, should I not receive it will contact my credit card company, Read other Reviews not the best .

Following numerous phone calls still haven’t been able to contact customer services and am now wondering if I have been scammed

We bought a Maze lounge set and 2 Sun lounger sets last summer and winter covers. Apart from a slight defect on one of the legs, we were really happy with the furniture. I did email about the leg but didn’t get a reply. As it wasn’t too bad we didn’t bother trying to push for an exchange.
We used the covers over the winter but when we came to use the furniture in the spring the genuine Maze covers for the Sun loungers were perfect but the other make sent for the sofa set (as they didn’t have the Maze cover in stock) had disintegrated on the inside. We had black plastic all over the furniture and decking. Some had marked the decking, which we had to jet wash off.
I contacted by email as soon as I noticed and was asked to send photos, which I did.
This was in the spring and, even though I have sent a number of follow up emails, we still have not received a replacement or refund.
I would definitely NOT recommend their furniture covers and now would not recommend the company as, although the customer service is good when you are buying, they are not helpful when things go wrong.
I would still like a refund for the cover so that I can buy a genuine Maze one.

I pre ordered a Winchester lounger set to match my other Winchester range - I did chase my order a couple of times and always got very professional service and up to date information. I am very pleased with the delivery company who delivered my set they were in contact almost every day for a week! Once my loungers arrived I was more than happy.

Lovely product, very responsive team when checking on delivery times. When the item arrived the protective packaging was second to none. Very high end, all eventualities had been considered to ensure the product I received was great quality.

Slow arrival and lead you to believe they had 187 in stock but waited 2 weeks before they were in stock . Third party delivery company was excellent

Delivery was extended and we were not really kept advised about when to expect it. Cover is excellent but we would have appreciated advice on how to fit the securing ties. We finally figured it out and are very pleased with our purchase.

Not recommended. Kept me waiting for an order which I had to progress check several times due to lack of communication. A different reason was given each time I called. Eventually I had to cancel the order as I lost faith in them. I should have read previous reviews before ordering from this company to save myself time and inconvenience. Avoid!

I was informed at the outset that the furniture was sold out and that delivery wasn’t expected until mid May. We had an unexpected family celebration that was happening at the beginning of May, so I asked Modern Rattan if there was ANY chance of receiving our Maze Oxford 8 Seater in time for it. Amazingly they managed to get the furniture to us in time! Thank you to the people at Modern Rattan, who kept me updated with the various stages of delivery. I would highly recommend Modern Rattan and the furniture is really lovely too.

Great communication and fast delivery, item as described.

Love my new furniture. I’ve not got the table up yet as I need a couple of strong people to do for me. But the chairs are fabulous.

Ordered an item from Modern Rattan on 16th March, card debited at the same time. I received a ‘processing your order’ email the following day but have heard nothing since then and haven’t received my order. I’ve emailed them and sent a message via their site but had no response. Today I tried their chat which isn’t manned and then tried calling but their phone is unavailable. Be wary before you order, luckily my order wasn’t big.
*UPDATE* 16/03/25 I had a call from them this evening - my order has gone missing with the couriers so they have despatched another one. Their phone lines are down so their message service is busier than usual. I should receive my order in 2 days so will update again after that.
*UPDATE* 04/04/25 Order arrived today via DPD next day delivery. Matt phoned me yesterday to update me.
