Although the order arrived fairly promptly we ordered grey seat covers and were delivered grey YELLOW and black total waste of time

Deserve minus stars !!

I purchased four grey velvet lion back knocker chairs back in July via B&Q website with Modernique being their verified seller
On arrival they were faulty
The lion knocker was placed differently on all four chairs and one screw was half in and half out stuck and rounded off
After sending photos of the faults to modernique was told to have a whats app video call to take off the lion knocker component and re align myself (utter disbelief) i refused and informed them I would not be touching the chairs as my warranty would be invalid if I did this and also informed them this is not what a customer should have to do and these chairs are velvet if re aligned and lion knocker moved there would be marks and indents of where they were before including new damage of new holes to the chair and fabric
Months this continued would not help or issue refund just kept saying have a whats app call with us we will guide you through the steps to do it yourself!
B&Q stepped in afyer many complaints agreed this was NOT what a customer should have to do with faulty items!!
A solution was reached with B&Q and agreed as the chairs were faulty and I was getting ignored by modernique that they offered to come collect the faulty chairs as a goodwill gesture so that after they had collected the four chairs they could reimbursed me my £460 and I could try to reorder in the hope that they wouldn’t have the faults this was July 2023
Moving to the current day so STUPIDLY I get my refund and try again I reorder the exact same four dark grey chairs exactly the same way as before via B&Q website paid for four chairs but seller being modernique they arrive 28/11/2023 but guess what they don’t make it out the box as they deliver four silver ones (should be dark grey) but wait for it it’s get worse than just the colour !! The driver calls five mins after delivery and says I’ve given you four chairs when you have only ordered 2 !! I say no check my invoice I payed for four chairs but while I have u on the phone these are the completely wrong colour he says I will inform my boss his boss then phoned me and says if the chairs are wrong colour give the chairs back to the driver he will bring them back to us and we will issue a full refund …. Wait for it gets WORSE …
Driver comes back to my property and takes the chairs back to vanand off they go move forward to today 29/11/2023 I receive a email from modernique nope not my refund it’s a slanderous nasty email saying (can’t make this up) On delivery of your four chairs this morning our driver noticed you have the old four chairs in your property (LIE) and you were given a full refund from B&Q and we never got OUR chairs we want to come collect our chairs

my return email back to them informed them their driver was a lier I do not have the old chairs !! And I’m glad you have informed B&Q because they are the ones who collected my old chairs so they WILL know you are a scamming company and can’t be trusted !!! We are in the process of dealing with this company and there threats lies and slanderous accusations I hope you have a good lawyer!!!

First of all, I bought the product from their website, which is cheaper than their Amazon listing. People said with that money (£195) I couldn't find an ottoman bed, but I found this one and it is pretty good.

Also, I was moving to a flat, and I needed the ottoman bed frame on a specific day. I wrote a note and chatted with them using their website, they sent it exactly when I needed it.

Very helpful during telephone call regarding item prior to purchase. Five stars for young man I spoke to. Received my item very quickly and well packaged. A beautiful addition to my home.

Shelves arrived nice and quickly. You have be very careful to follow the instructions because the inner shelves are different sizes but it goes together beautifully and looks good in the antique dark colour. I'm so pleased with them. Thank you modernique! 😊

A little bit of a sticky start but everything was quickly and efficiently resolved.
Excellent customer service and an excellent product.

The chairs were delivered in good condition and within the delivery time given. They look fine, fold easily and can be stood in the folded position! The are comfortable and probably weatherproof (they are plastic and have no metal parts), but are yet to be tested. The only concern was that we were given no heads up about the delivery date, we were out and they were left, very conspicuously, on our doorstep!

Very poor product and was damaged when delivered.
Would not buy again

Bed arrived. Wrong size and very very poor quality. Company picking up on 11th May hopefully. Will review again once bed frame collected and refund issued.

Could not fault the buying experience. Company sent me a swatch to see if the colour and quality was what I was looking for. Ordering was easy. One of the staff even took some measurements for me. Delivery was on the day they stated. Assemblies the chairs was relatively easy and I am very pleased with the look.

Never had an experience like this, ordered on the Thursday, delivered on the Friday to a neighbour with a photo and name, nest of tables was exactly what we wanted, look beautiful in our lounge, thank you Modernique, excellent service.

Fast delivery.

I had not heard of this company until I found dining chairs I liked in faux leather on B&Q website sold by independent sellers. I wanted Ivory chairs but they only have beige ones which are a dark beige which was disappointing and unfortunately they have used black lining at the bottom of the beige chairs which sags down a bit so you can see the black lining and black zip hanging loose under the chairs.
However the 4 stars is for the good quality of the chairs - very sturdy chairs and they were despatched very quickly and were wrapped well so no damage.

The legs were so hard to assemble but my husband managed to do it.
The delivery was a pain as it was going to be delivered any time between 8am and 8pm which was a big issue for me as I needed to drop off my kids at school and pick them up so had to leave a note on the door for the delivery driver and managed to be there when he arrived. He was very nice and helpful.

Overall I would recommend this company and would buy from them again as the chairs are very good quality.
