Wonderful guys, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Worked really hard on a not so straightforward job and it was a humid day! I was kept up to date with everything along the way.

New socket and light fitted. Speedy appointment and problems solved. Invoice for work involved was acceptable. We have used this company before to supply and fit a kitchen light, they did a good job then, didn’t hesitate when finding someone to do the work this time. We will definitely be using this company again and would recommend them.

Amazing at communication and sending an electrician very fast. Unfortunately got quote 700/1500 gbp to get an eicr after a failed inspection when my local electrician did it for 380 pounds. You really pay the price for this fast turnaround. Such a shame.

I needed a light fitting replaced that was a weird one that I couldn't change myself. Chris took the time to explain the electrical work to me, so that I understood what was needed in my property and importantly, why it was needed. This was especially important as we were discussing a lot of work to be done. I would highly recommend their VIP fast track quotation if you are considering getting any significant work done. I would also recommend Chris, and hopefully he will carry out the work in my property, as we discussed the job in significant detail. On a side point, as a single woman I felt very safe during our meeting, this should go without saying, but I think it is important to note.

Having recently moved into our new house we asked MJP Electrical Services Ltd to do an EICR. Having been thoroughly impressed with their engineer Greig, his manner, knowledge and politeness we asked that he should carry out the remedial work and also upgrade the consumer unit. Once again my husband and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. On Friday an apprentice came too and having been in education for most of my career I would like to think that I can spot a good teacher when I see one; Greig certainly is. The way he spoke to the apprentice was clear, conversational so as to include him in the problem and very formative, using examples from his years of experience. It was good to see how an apprentice was shown and involved in the job and that their potential for learning was excellent.

From the start the communications were exemplary. Our electrician, Chris, was in every way an outstanding example of the very best of a reliable tradesmen. He was friendly, courteous and helpful. Along with that, he was efficient, tidy and considerate. The loss of a star is solely because I regarded the cost as not inconsiderable, with no breakdown of items appearing on the Invoice, apart from the agreed flat fee and VAT.

Friendly, professional electrician arrived - I always feel anxious as a woman when I need trades coming into my house when I’m home alone - but MJP were so professional in all dealings and the electrician too, I felt completely safe and at ease. They fixed my issue without delay, after rearranging without fuss due to my having a virus - really appreciate how they engaged with me and nothing was too much trouble.
