Okay service, they were quick to come out but very expensive and had lots of extra charges with a lack of explaining the cost of individual items upfront and then just send big bills with short payment due dates. After looking further online their prices are considerably higher than others.

Polite quick service have used before and will again

Thanks to you i have just lost the sale of my property 10,000 pounds for a rewire for a 3 bedroom house that does not need it what a rip off there was only minor work needed as i was instructed by British gas .

Andrew was great, very accommodating and respectful of our home. He did a great job pinpointing the cause of our lighting issue and repaired it quickly.

As a couple in South Wales we can barely switch out a light switch between us. When our bathroom extractor fan broke we needed to find someone to get it sorted quickly. Turns out our consumer unit was rather out of date and, as we are thinking of selling in a few years, thought we would get that replaced too.

We sought multiple quotes. MJP was the cheapest by far. Chris came over and looked at the work that needed doing, clearly explained our options/solutions and what they all meant. We are grateful that he was able to explain it in terms we understood.

After considering the quotes and the attitude of those coming around to provide the quotes, we opted for MJP.

Chris was due to arrive at 8, we had a text from him at 7:40 to let us know he would be arriving soon. He was on time and just as friendly and professional as when he was providing the quote and trying to secure our business.

Throughout the several hours Chris was in our house, he was friendly, kept us informed of progress, explained the work he was doing and what it meant.

He then walked through the work he had completed before leaving our property and checked if there was anything else he could do for us before leaving.

Chris is an asset to the business and is an ambassador for great quality electrical work/customer satisfaction.

MJP - we don't know how much Chris earns, but he deserves a raise! Fantastic ambassador for your company. We will be happy to recommend him and MJP to anyone and everyone we speak to!

Emergency call out as socket was sparking and tripping circuit breaker! Daniel arrived very promptly and cheerfully replaced and rechecked everything. Extremely quick and efficient service, thanks.

Needed some remedial work doing when moving into our new house. MJP were easy to contact, super helpful and very upfront with the costs.

They came and fitted our new consumer unit and arrived at the time they said they would. After completing all of the work they found a sight problem with a light the was proving complicated to fix. They went out of their way to stay a lot longer than planned to get this fixed and we couldn’t be more thankful for their professionalism on our job.

Fantastic work to a fantastic standard. We will certainly use again when we need more electrical work completing.

I hope staff are treated better than customers. The Director seems to be a clairvoyant in his spare time as he told me he knew he’d have issues with me when they took my booking! Wow, hope he can pick lottery numbers too! Having had poor experiences with trades before I explained in an exchange of emails prompted by them, how I was wary of using trades which he threw back in my face today. He’s a bully!
Don’t fall for ‘free safety check’ nonsense, it just eats into the hour of labour you thought you were buying. Mark uses the word transparency extensively but only when it suits his agenda!
I was sent a link to review this Bristol based company to another business of the same name in South Wales. I called to clarify & was sent an email asking for me to send a review via email as they want to address my comments thoroughly!
They don’t want my feedback publicly! Ask yourselves why that would be!

Update based on response. Think you are confusing me with someone else. I’ve not left multiple voicemails with you. I left a single message with your colleague today to ask why you were putting a huge mark up on a cheap light. If you want people to take you seriously stick to facts and not make up nonsense!

I hope people who read your responses are not taken in by how you speak to customers! I can see you try hard to present a professional public image in these responses, rather different to the tone I received on the telephone today!

We recently moved into a 1970's house & the electrics needed to be looked at & switches/sockets/light pendants changing. We didn't have to wait a long time for our booking and Electrician Jordon Bishop was brilliant! A very helpful & friendly Guy. From the moment he arrived to the time he left he greeted us with a smile and did all he could to put Customer Care at the forefront. He was conscientious with his work & explained things to us with due care & attention; he asked if we were happy with things regularly throughout the process & gave valuable advice. Safety checks were carried out. A very professional job & service report provided. Very Happy Customer!

Jordan came to replace our bathroom extractor fan. He was lovely and very helpful.

we called MJP Electricals Ltd today as our consumer unit burned out melting all wires and fuses nearly going in flames but fortunately tripped out leaving us with no electricity power, they promptly sent a young man called Chris who was absolutely wonderful, he was very polite and replaced and rewired the unit to return power to our home, he explained everything he was doing and was just so reassuring that all will be safe once he had done his work, a very nice friendly chap with excellent experience and knowledge,I would definitely recommend this company for their customer care and service, terrific honest business.
