When I got a quote and the time frame from metro wardrobes, I thought it was too good to be true. Not only was the price the most competitive between sharps and sliderobes, they could install 12 weeks earlier than these other competitors. I was convinced that what was promised would not be delivered upon. However I am very impressed with the final result. Although there were some minor hiccups and installation took place over 5 days instead of 2-3, it was done professionally and to a high standard. Would highly recommend metro wardrobes.

From design to labour and material quality, everything is as I expected it to be. Thank you especially to Nassy for delivering the wardrobes I visualised.

Used this company again after completed my daughters bespoke wardrobes 5 years ago. Good quality cupboards stood the test of time so decided to get for another bedroom.

Luci and cupboard fitters very professional and took time to deal with install well.

The experience dealing with this company has left my building project behind time and a very stressed house hold.
The fitters were terrible, they did not turn up on time, no notice was given, I have to constantly chase them for installation times. Mirrored doors were chipped on arrival, replacement delivered 6 weeks later was damaged. The workmanship was very poor, insufficient time was allowed the the installation. Metro do not answer emails, fitting manager is never available to take calls, nor any senior management and after 6 months they have not rectified the problems. I am going to have to employ a contractor to sort out the mess that has been left. appalling behaviour, they soon call you when they want paying but apart from that do not expect to here from them.

The men who came were so kind and helpful and definitely went that extra mile for us.
Wardrobes were fitted three years ago and with normal wear and tear (and having four small kids!) they just needed a bit of tightening at the hinges and they came willingly the same day I called them and replaced all the hinges. So happy. Amazing service. Beautiful wardrobes x

Really good value for money. The turn around time was very quick and the team installing the wardrobes completed 2 bedrooms in 1.5 days. Metro didn't have the 'marketing' and gadgets of some competitors, but the work was professional, a fraction of the turn around time to competitors and brilliant value. We're very happy

I used Metro Wardrobes to get two wardrobes fitted in my new flat. One of the wardrobes was sliding and the other was a corner wardrobe. We paid 50% upfront before the installation.

We had the worst experience with this company. The lady who came to do our design and measurements kept getting it wrong despite repeatedly correcting her with the colour and size.

She attended our property twice (attended the second time after we paid £50) to get the final measurements wrong. She suggested that we get shelves on the side of both our wardrobes with a hole for the lighting switch which we couldn't remove.

Delay in the installation:

The company were supposed to start our job but informed us a day before that they cannot attend the next day because of issues in their factory as a result our project got delayed.

Installation

The measurements of the pieces sent were all wrong - and we had to ask them to cut the sections again - this further delayed our project.

The drawers made inside the sliding wardrobe were also much smaller than promised and were cut wrong

Even the shelves which we were promised would be curved on the edges were triangular in shape and half the size of the length of the wardrobe

The cut out for the switch was uneven, scruffy and not painted

Just amazing! Excellent service from start to finish, top-class materials and much cheaper than others. I was just about to place my order with Sharp Wadrobes but the designer was driving and couldn't take a deposit on that time and I decided to do my last online search...lucky me! £700 cheaper, 4 weeks quicker and plenty more options added than original project plus very professional Installation without a bit of dust!

I have had a very bad experience using this company, and I wish I had gone with the other company that I considered. The work is still incomplete, 2.5 months down the line! It is completely unacceptable, I paid a good amount of money for a fitted (bespoke) wardrobe.

While it all started well, the service turned rubbish as soon as I had paid the deposit (50%). The works started later than scheduled and took longer to complete. The company was VERY quick to charge me, for instance, as soon as the work completed on the last day, they called and rudely demanded the rest of the money (15%), I was not even given five minutes to inspect the work. I had paid everything on time, so I paid the last 15% when asked - this was a bit naïve of me, because it removed the urgency and incentives for the company to fix their errors and mistakes with the build.

It was supposed to be BESPOKE wardrobe, yet they did not follow the specific measurements I asked them to do for one of the units (I have therefore ended up with asymmetrical shelves), and the door opens in the wrong direction (which is very inconvenient as the unit is next to the wall).

The quality is not great, one door was just sloppy work that looked of very poor quality. I informed my designer of the issues - I chased constantly, some 2.5 months later, they show up with a new door, which proved to be incorrectly cut! So, the fitters took the existing door and now I am left with an incomplete/door-less wardrobe. They are constantly making excuses and blame the errors on the company that make that specific door, however, it is just nonsense, no company would take some 2 months to sort out a mistake! Absolute farce!

I deeply regret using this company, I felt that they ONLY cared about charging me, but they had ZERO interest in fix errors and problems with the wardrobe they installed.

Do not even bother to consider this company . Not very professional , they have ruined my carpet cutting more than they should when they have started to fit the wardrobe . I am still waiting for a month to get them to finish what they have started so I have got a wardrobe which is unfinished at the moment . They are really quick to get your money but not professional to get things done . They will also try to trick you pretending that drawers , shelves , etc are properly fitted but you would find holes everywhere which would try to cover.

Run as fast as you can from this company !!!

After an initial problem, the way they dealt with it and the outcome of the job was outstanding.
That wardrobe it’s unbelievable!
Spacious, strong, beautiful... couldn’t ask for a better product.
Hard working people, they were on time, they worked nonstop all day and they cleaned everything after them.
They exceeded my expectations by far.
I am very pleased with the service from A to Z, and I know that I am not easy to please.

I had a terrible experience with everyone who is working in this place from the main staff to the fitters.
Extremely poor quality material and work. Took my money and never completed the job.
They never answered my calls. Very rude, kept shouting and didn’t give me a chance to speak. BTW, It was my mistake that I didn’t send the witness statement to the court otherwise the legal process would have been on my side. I still have all the evidences and pictures of your poor work. Not just that but you damaged my wall too.

Free design visit was really informative and Asheeta provided me with design options and took all measurements. She then created and sent over the 3D visuals within a couple of hours after the design visit. After I mentioned some alterations, she amended the design and answered any questions I had. On the day of installation, the team arrived at midday and worked continuously until 6pm. They were really careful and very clean in their installation methods. The finished product is immense and I am very happy with the quality and professionalism demonstrated. I would 100% recommend Metro and will definitely be purchasing more of their work.

Absolutely delighted. Put 3 companies in comp and not only they were the most competitive but also the fastest for completion and installation.
Honestly everything was great and easy from A to Z.

Great experience start to finish, picked the wrong handles which was my fault, they sent me different ones out straight away and helped me make sure I didn’t make the same mistake again. Finished job looks great so pleased

First class service. Competitive quote. Workmen were Highly efficient - we were told job would be completed over 2 days, yet finished to a high standard in just one day and fully cleaned up after themselves. We would certainly highly recommend and use again in the future.

Great service from Mac and his colleagues from scoping to installation of the units all completed in good time.

I am so pleased with my bespoke wardrobe from Metro, it is absolutely perfect! The designer was so helpful and created exactly what I wanted. There are so many options for colours, mirrors and internal fittings. During the fitting, the team were so lovely and cleaned everything up after they had finished. The whole process was so quick and efficient, and for such a good price compared to other quotes I had. I would recommend to anyone!!
