Kinjal and his team are effective and fast. They fitted a 3 meter long, wall to wall wardrobe in half a day. I designed the wardrobe online with Palak's support which was effortless.
I highly recommend Metrowarobes and will use them in the future for other furniture.

Tom gave great customer care and followed through with the fitting so that all the details were looked after. I love the door knobs he recommended and the jewellery drawers. The lighting is great for wearing make up! I’m finally satisfied with how my room looks.

I was a bit hesitant about going with this company, found them on Instagram and they're obviously not well known like Sharps and Hammonds but they can install wardrobes within two weeks rather than 16 weeks like the others. I wouldn't say the customer service was brilliant, the appointment was rushed because the contact was worried about parking and then afterwards they bothered me calling all the time wanting me to book. I will say though, when I did confirm they installed within 6 days and the quality and finish is great and I'm really happy with the end result. In terms of price, they're about the same as the others so if you want that extra speed then it's the right choice.

We wanted 2 wardrobes built at short notice and came across Metro Wardrobes. I don't usually solicit the internet for these potentially expensive work but glad I did on this occasion. Our overall experience from start to finish dealing with this company was fantastic. The first visit by Tom (designer/Surveyor/Project Manager) was a productive one as we were not sure about any design, Tom however made this an easy and straightforward process. Tom allowed us to take our time with different designs and with his years of knowledge in this industry was able to create 2 great wardrobes to meet our needs.
Ajay & Jay the fitters that carried out the installation of the wardrobes were the best they were polite, engaging and always checked with us before making final decisions eg door handles positions and height of shelving etc. They treated my home with respect by covering the floor, cutting wood outside and cleaning up everything. Their attention to detail, problem solving skills and neat construction of the wardrobes was impressive. Ajay, Jay and their fitting team work relentlessly throughout the day to ensure the work was completed in 1 day and more importantly ensuring we were happy.

The Price:
I had 6 quotes prior to Tom visiting. Tom's quote for the same alcove area Bespoke Wardrobes which are more superior in design than the other companies saved me £1400.

I will definitely let others know about this company, my kids love their new Wardrobes and wall mounted bookshelf.

One of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with.. my project was quite complicated and refused by some of the most pro companies (Sharps) Tom was amazing from start to finish and knew every detail I wanted! Communication throughout the whole project was impeccable. Tom really went above and beyond, he was so friendly and easy to work with. He really spent time with me and my family to understand every detail and tackled any issues so efficiently. I cannot recommend this company enough.. we were happy to double our budget because of the ease and service we received! Tom was a huge support and the best designer out there as he truly understood our needs and wants. Thank you so much

I came to metro wardrobes with a specific idea as I wanted to make the most of the small space in my new flat. Palak was really responsive to what I wanted and advised on usability etc and I'm really glad I took her advice as the wardrobe looks amazing like it was always meant to be there. The team who came to measure install etc were super lovely and efficient, the whole thing was put up in less than a day. Great service and product with reasonable price, definitely 100% recommend over the "big" brands. Thank you!

We recently had two wardrobes fitted and are really happy with the whole experience. Nessy came and consulted us on the design and was refreshingly no-nonsense, fast to respond, and informative. Ajay and Hiran came to fit it and were so fast and did really excellent work. We did have a problem with some flaws in the doors (a small chip and black mark we didn't initially notice), but Magda and Palak in the office were really excellent in responding to this and have arranged for the doors to be replaced. Cannot fault this excellent company, and the wardrobes look really great. Thank you!

We got two wardrobes and a boiler unit installed with Metro Wardrobes. Excellent service from start to finish on both occasions. We did our research prior to engaging with MW and MW beats sharps and other known names on the market both in terms of prices as well as installation lead times. No comparison on lead times. Also product quality is top notch on par with Sharps, etc. I can say this as we visited showrooms of the aforementioned brands. Highly recommend Metro Wardrobes to all.

Just had two wardrobes installed by Metro and on the whole I was impressed. The quality of the internal draws and fittings are really good, very solid and a real quality finish. On the external doors I opted to have a matt laminate finish at an extra cost which is lovely to the touch. However, I was slightly disappointed as there is a slight fraying at the edges caused by the glue and the laminate but this can be smoothed out with some sandpaper. I would have given Metro 5 stars if not for the fact they only installed 3 doors instead of four as one was damaged and the replacement door did match the colour of the others. Eventually a new door was installed and it all looks good.

The fitters were very friendly, they did a really good job and were very cooperative when slight adjustments needed to be made. Customer services were great in getting any issues resolved quite quickly which was very helpful.

On the whole, the wardrobes look great and we have had friends complimenting on how nice the wardrobes look.

Great experience! From the moment Thomas stepped foot in the rooms, it was very clear he was much more experienced, detail-orientated and customer-focused than any other wardrobe company we engaged with (and much cheaper than going with a carpenter). I was thrilled with the designs, which included a desk and some shelves. Turnaround was relatively quick, and now that they are being fitted, I'm also impressed with the quality of materials. Sandeep and the other fitters were nice and courteous too.

Wow! What an amazing company. I met James from Metro on Tuesday and our wardrobes were installed on Friday. Great price, quality product and exemplary customer service. I highly recommend this company.

We have 2 wardrobe from them in our dressing room. We are very happy with their service. Very good and very quick. Reasonable prices. Now thinking to use them again for another room.

Like some other reviewers here we had our doubts....
We were impressed with the speed of response - installation booked within 1 week of finalising the design. The team that came was very professional and finished the job in one day and cleaned after them. Wardrobe looks great, is solid and looks exactly like the design.

Although there was a bit of a delay with my Wadrobe doors being delivered - due to deliveries being backlogged, I can say I am a very happy and satisfied customer. Ranto is great! His friendly and warm nature made my decision choosing my Wadrobe’s so easy. He helped and made my whole experience so smooth and pleasant to deal with. The fitters were also so professional, tidy and polite. Great job, thanks guys. Kim

Where do I begin?

The engineers visit:
The "designer / engineer" that came to my house to help design my wardrobe was average at best. Out of the 4 wardrobes, we agreed to create 1 of my wardrobes too short in depth (meaning that when it came to actually building the wardrobe, I couldn't fit any clothes in it as the depth was too shallow) Granted, the end decision was mine, however, from a designers POV, I should have been directed more by MetroWardrobes as they are the "experts".

The communication:
Was some of the worst communication I have ever experienced with a vendor. My work is quite intensive, so when it comes to blocking off days that I need to WFH so they can come build, I have to plan far in advance. I made this note very clear to Metro wardrobes, but TIME and TIME again, they would re-schedule last minute. By last minute, I mean at 6:30pm sometimes the day BEFORE they were meant to come. This happened 2-3 times. This lack of communication had a knock on effect with my work / life balance and it was a growing frustration in working with this "company"

When I called my "designer", Ranto, to discuss an issue I had with one of the wardrobes, I was utterly shocked by the way he spoke to a paying client. He turned our conversation into a shouting match, accusing me of lying, I was genuinely shell-shocked. The conversation got so heated that he had to pass the phone to his "warehouse manager", who is equally as incompetent.. I cannot imagine in my lifetime ever speaking to one of my clients that way.

The workers:
The workers that they provided for this job were very inconsiderate with my possessions and property. They didn't even cover the floor where they were working and began to cut wood INSIDE the property. After they were finished cutting the wood, there was saw dust everywhere (photos linked below). The dust went onto & into my desktop computer, camera, and expensive equipment that I own.

Another examples of the quality of the communication and these workers was: On a day that workers were coming, I removed EVERYTHING from the half built cupboards (which took around an hour) and 2 workers came over to finish the job. When they got there, they had NO CLUE what they were meant to be doing, holding a sheet with the "plans". They started asking ME questions about where everything was and what to do. Nothing had been communicated from the previous builders to these 2 new ones. I had to step in and project manage this project at one point as they were incapable of doing it themselves. Bearing in mind I was also working that day, so I was losing precious time that I could've been working.

If I could, I would give 0 stars, but the 1 star and the only saving grace from this company is that the quality of the wood is decent.

I would avoid this place at all costs... so unprofessional. KEEP SEARCHING (I wish I did). I hope this company reads through all of it's bad comments and realises that they need to learn and improve from them. I hope this review helps someone make the right decision.

The designing process was seamless. Palak and Nassy were great help in the process of designing and ordering. Wardrobes were delivered and fitted within 2 weeks. The craftsmanship is excellent, accompanied with thorough fitting and cleaning after completion.
Really happy with my wardrobes :)
