The customer service is very good however the technician that they sent decided that because he saw for him something looks good but the mechanic is telling him that needs to be fix he said no charge it to the owner mind that I have the insurance to be able to fix my car before it broke and no need to pay because that’s what the warranty is.

This claim was worked out between where I was having it serviced and Merit. I paid my deductible only.

Not. Paying for nothing. Sooo better. Save your money and get fixed your own car

Took to long to approve the work like 5 days. They only paid a small portion of what the bill was. I had to pay the remains balance. I would not recommend this coverage

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the handling of my recent warranty claim and the conduct of the assigned claims adjuster, Steven.

I purchased this vehicle warranty with the clear understanding that covered mechanical failures would be honored in accordance with the terms of the agreement. Recently, I brought my vehicle—valued at over $100,000—to a professional repair facility due to a mechanical issue that I reasonably expected would be covered under the warranty policy.

However, my claim was denied on the basis that I allegedly did not provide sufficient documentation of oil change maintenance records. This justification appears unreasonable and disproportionate, particularly given that the vehicle was properly maintained and serviced. The denial has forced me to pay a substantial repair cost entirely out of pocket despite maintaining an active warranty contract.

The manner in which this claim was handled raises serious concerns about the company's claims review process and whether customers are being treated fairly and in good faith. Denying legitimate claims based on technicalities or excessive documentation demands undermines the fundamental purpose of a warranty contract.

If this matter is not reviewed and resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to pursue further action, including:

• Filing formal complaints with the appropriate state consumer protection and insurance regulatory authorities
• Reporting the matter to the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection organizations
• Exploring all available legal options regarding the denial of coverage and potential bad-faith claim handling

I request that this claim be immediately escalated for supervisory review and that the denial be reconsidered based on the actual mechanical issue and the terms of the warranty agreement.

I expect a prompt response and a fair resolution to this matter

I contacted Merit Administration about my water heater leaking and was told it would be covered. When the repair/replacement company came out they did some research and found that my water heater was still under warrant. The water heater company replaced the unit, but did not cover the labor to replace the unit. I submitted the claim to Merit and was denied because they say they don't cover just labor. I asked if the water heater wasn't under warranty and had to be replaced would they have covered the labor. Merit said in that case they would have covered the labor. It makes absolutely no sense because it had to be replaced regardless and someone had to do the labor. I guess they wanted me to perform the labor so they would be off the hook for payment. Long story short, I had to eat the cost of the labor. What a worthless company Merit is! I will be cancelling my contract.

I needed for someone to reach out to me with the information before hand! Not After the mechanic finds out the problem! He told me what my warranty personnel should have told me in advance!

The company was good with taking care of things but had to pay for differences in part prices. Also they did not cover any bolts. Found that crazy as the had to take old ones off. I also would say you definitely need to read what your contract covers. In my case I thought way more was covered that actually is.

Theory was done in a timely manner and insurance was approved same day 👍

You are a rip offer, would Never recommend you! In fact, writing up a review to send to BBB and trust piolet.

It has been more than a month and we have still not received are reimbursement. Which should be, $99.00 for the service call and the $472.00 for repairs. Minus $75.00 for deductible. I am seriously considering canceling my plan. Very poor service and turn around time.

The experience with this company was ok.
Little slow on the approve the claim, plus maintenance proof was certified the place I do the maintenance.
2 week to get approve and another 4 more week to the shop done the job
All this was week before to Thanksgiving and get back the jeep on January 2026.

I was relieved and very satisfied with how reliable Merit Administration has been in delivering. I was pleased with how they took a lot of expenses off me as I needed to have major work done on my vehicle and finding out my out of pocket was minimal compared to my overall repairs including labor. Great first time experience. I highly recommend Merit for anyone needing an extended warranty on their vehicle.

Communication was excellent. We got the truck fixed and it's still running. Amen.

The service I received from US Automotive Protection was outstanding. As a new customer, I am truly pleased with the level of service provided to me thus far.

It all began with Jared Turner, who introduced me to the service and did an excellent job explaining everything. When I submitted my first claim, I was extremely satisfied with Mr. David Post, the Claim Adjuster. He was outstanding—very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive.

Mr. Post worked diligently on my claim and ensured it moved through the system as quickly as possible without any delays. He also kept the dealership accountable and on track with their responsibilities. He was truly a shining light during what could have been a very frustrating experience, especially considering the delays I encountered with the dealership.

I strongly recommend working with Mr. David Post. He clearly knows his job well and genuinely wants the best outcomes for his customers.
